朝食はすごく満足、お風呂は・・・

お部屋は可もなく不可もなく、という感じです。
お風呂は6階にありましたが、脱衣所に個別のかごがなく、財布などを入れる貴重品ロッカーを置いてほしいなと思いました。
朝食は和食（1500円）を頼みましたが、とても豪華で、丁寧に作られているので、家族4人お腹いっぱい食べてしまいました。

The view from my room (economic) was unsightly - a parking lot.
The public Ofuro was nice with very hot water.
I wish the tea making set was already in the room. I needed it late at night but by then the staff was already gone.
The blanket as too small to stay under it comfortably without having your feet uncovered.

立地とサービスが最高！！

立地が最高な上、台風直撃の中宿泊した為かスタッフの方々のサービスが素晴らしく、荷運びなども当然のようにしていただけました。
また京都に行く際は是非お世話になりたいです。
もはや粗探しのレベルですが、あえてマイナス点をあげれば、自販機の売り切れが多かった事ですかね…まぁ台風のせいでしょうけど。
お酒などの販売もあれば嬉しかったです！

古めですが、まぁ普通の旅館。
長年日本に住んでいる外国人の私とカップルと、姉が夫婦でスエーデンから遊びに来たときに4人で2部屋で泊まった。チェックインの際に観光客はもちろんですが、自分もパスポート／在留カードを頼まれたのが不思議だった。法令に基づき「日本国内に住所を持たない外国人」の宿泊に際しパスポートを求めるのだが、そうでない人なら求めることがないので、日本人＝身分証明書不要、外国人＝必要、という差別になってしまって残念だった。ホテルの人ならこういうことはきちんと知ってほしかった。しかも、こっちが予約したのにグループの唯一の日本人の名前でずっと呼ばれていた。誰がホストと誰が客なのかを覚えといてほしい。

畳でまったり

駐車場が確保できること、和風旅館であることが決め手でした。ロビーの雰囲気や接客、とても良かったです。6畳でも二人なら充分な広さ。大浴場の他に、洗い場付きのお風呂がありました^ ^。

こじんまりとした旅館。古いが一部はリニューアル済み。スタッフは丁寧。
京都駅から徒歩10分程度。東本願寺の裏手からすぐ。
朝食を付けたが美味しい朝食であった。量も十分。バイキング形式のような洋風・大量のものを期待する場合はお勧めしないが、純和風の朝食で京らしいちりめんじゃこや漬物などがおいしい。
京都はホテル代が高くつく時期があり、今回は旅館にしてみて正解。中心街から少し離れるが、多少京都の地理がわかっている方なら、問題なし。タクシーでも緑風壮はよく知られているらしく、名前だけで場所を理解してくれた。
外国人も多く宿泊の様子（欧米人を複数見かけた）。残念ながら大浴場は時間の都合で利用できなかったが、観光・外食でお金を掛けたい方にはとてもリーズナブルな旅館と思う。

ほぼ満足

五条絵駅からは近いのに静かなエリアでした。都合によりもともとは楽しみにしていましたが私は大浴場が使えなくなったため、個室のお風呂に入りたかったのですが、母が浴室を使用後、強くバスルームのドアを閉めてしまい、ドアが開かなくなりました。私たちは帰りが遅く、久しぶりで部屋で話をしていたためその時点で23時50分ごろだったと思います。フロントにドアを開けてもらおうと電話をしましたが、どなたも出ませんでした。そのため、私はお風呂に入ることができず、翌朝にドアを開けてもらい入りました。
フロントの電話はできれば、24時ごろまでは出るようにしていただけるとありがたかったです。

そのほかは、到着した際のお菓子、お茶、接遇が感じがよく、また、帰りの際のお見送りも問題なく、気持ちよく過ごさせていただきました。

以上の点を、今後の参考にしていただけましたらと思います。

従業員の態度が良かった。

コンビニは近くにはなかったけど、24時間ストアが徒歩5分程度のところにあるらしい。自動販売機が種類が少なかったけどストアを紹介された。

ちょっと疲れ果ててチェックインしたのですぐに部屋に入りたかったが、ウエルカムドリンクを出してもらってから部屋に案内された。良かったのか悪かったのかは疲労感次第だなあと思った。

初めて利用

大浴場に歴史を感じたが、それ以外は綺麗で快適でした。
駅近、地下鉄近、バス停近で、文句なしの立地。ご飯も美味しかったです！

駐車場無料はありがたいです。

今回、車でお邪魔したのですがチェックイン前に車を止めさせていただき
京都市内は公共機関で移動しました。
おかげで渋滞にも巻き込まれることもなく、予定していた観光地を全て見て回ることができました。
従業員の方も温かく親切に対応して下さり感謝しております。
しいて言うなら、お風呂場（大浴場も含め）は少し古いかな。という感じです。
周りにコンビニも無いため、もう少し自動販売機なども充実させてもよいのかなとも思いました。
とは言え、周りは静かでゆっくり出来ました。
また利用したいとも思いました。

気軽に泊まれる和風のホテル

せっかく京都に来たのでたまにはと思い、和風のホテルに泊まってみました。従業員の方がとても親切で感じ良く、大きなお風呂、浴衣などもありました。特に感動したのは京都らしい朝ごはん！あれは他の場所では食べられません❗美味しい味噌汁に漬け物、佃煮としゅけ。朝から元気を貰いました！さっそく友人に紹介しました。場所も京都駅から近く、便利です。

古風でコンパクト

部屋の作りなど全体的に小さくまとまったコンパクトなイメージの宿でした。やや古い箇所も散見されましたが基本的にはきれいで、何よりスタッフのおもてなしが良かったです。

駐車場完備の旅館

京都の紅葉真っ盛りの時期に、お手頃価格で駐車場完備の宿はなかなかないのですが、緑風荘さんは駐車場完備はもちろんのこと、チェックイン前、チェックイン後の駐車もＯＫということでしたので利用させていただきました。旅館自体は新しくはありませんが、清掃が行き届いており、また旅館の方も親切で、大変気持ちよく利用できました。１歳の子供同伴でしたので、和室であることも助かりました。

チェックアウト後も車を置かせていただけたので、とても助かりました。
部屋は少し古いですが掃除が行き届いていて、気持ちよく泊まることができました。
障子戸の滑りが悪かったので、ロウを塗るなどすれば良いのかな？と思いました。
朝食はたいへん美味しくいただきました。

Absolutely beautiful room, onsen, and the meals were amazing. Highly recommend spending a night here. Staff was very nice and patient. Might be difficult for kids, but is a very romantic and well-thought getaway from the busy downtown.

The staff was simply amazing! They were so kind and helpful. Sleeping on the traditional tatami floors was a cool experience. Trying the traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner was also an experience that everyone should try. The Onsen was great, it was on the 6th floor and you have a great view of Kyoto at night. We definitely recommend staying at this wonderful Ryokan.

We wanted a ryokan experience and we definitely got it. We booked for dinner and breakfast, ate like kings everyday! Staff are so warm and friendly, they also have very little staff so over the course of our 2 night stay, we saw literally the same people and it gave a very comforting feeling. They do have a communal bath, not an onsen, so it's not one with an onsen if that's what you are looking for.
The room are comfortable, we did book a smaller one , enough for 2 people but did struggle to lay open 2 large suitcase in the room, resulting in one around the corridor near the sink. It is also an older establishment, everything was clean but can tell it's a bit dated. The location is not too bad, I suspect all over Kyoto this would be the case, especially if you want a Ryokan but it was a bigger distance to traverse to the nearest train station. We did rely on bus more which the nearest station then was a 5 mins walk.
Overall, very happy with my stay and the hospitality we received.

A must-stay ryokan in Kyoto

We absolutely loved this Ryokan. It's located on a quiet street, not far from the JR train station. It's a great blend of traditional and modern. The room has tatami mats plus a separate alcove with table, chair, refrigerator - everything you'd expect from a modern hotel.

We loved staying here! The suite was beautiful, the service was brilliant and the breakfast delicious. We only wish they could have accommodated us for dinner.
We also highly recommend trying the bath house upstairs. Absolutely loved it here !

It was an experience I enjoyed, but I can't say I got the best sleep on the tatamis. The floor layout was inconvenient, how from the toilet you had to walk across the whole room to then wash your hands. The room was extremely tidy and i loved the seating overlooking the window. The public bathhouse, in the hotel, was amazing and while I'm not eager to sleep on the floor again, I'm forever going to be on the lookout for sentos and onsens.

Great place to unwind

Fantastic ryokan with friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are nice and have new bathrooms from 2022. Their breakfast and dinner options were as good as any traditional Japanese restaurant I tried in Kyoto. The public bath had a scenic view from the 6th floor.

We loved our stay at Ryokufuso! The bus took us straight from Kyoto Station to the front of the building, and the other bus stops that take you to the tourist hotspots were a <10 minute walk away. Despite being a small ryokan, our room was very spacious and the staff were super sweet and friendly. When we arrived one of them (I wish I remembered his name!) gave us a quick tour of our suite and how to use the amenities. They also have an onsen to enjoy even if you have tattoos or piercings, which we really appreciated. The next time I’m in Kyoto I’m for sure staying here!

Wanted a getaway from all the hustle and bustle and to experience a Ryokan. Great accommodation. Bus stop across the street, walking distance to the metro stop. Dinner and breakfast available and an Onsen on site. Staff is so kind and sweet, we loved our time here.

Staff was over the top friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags before and after check in/check out so that we could go explore Kyoto without having to haul our stuff around. They were also very helpful to help us acquire a taxi big enough for 6 and provide local restaurant recommendations. We were on the road side and so the rooms had quite a bit of traffic noise, but other than that everything was great.

Creo que el precio es un poco elevado para el tipo de hospedaje. Considero que debe tener más amenidades incluidas como desayuno y otro tipo de extras. Si vas en pareja considero que otro tipo de Ryokan es mejor, ya que este no tiene buenas vistas y puede considerarse un hotel normal estilo japonés.

Good place!

Very friendly, helpful, and solicitous staff throughout the whole stay. The hotel is not really walking distance from the train station if you have any baggage. The sidewalks are asphalt and we both broke luggage wheels on the walk. The ryokan is in a quieter part of town, which can be good or bad depending on your desires. The facility itself is a little dated but clean and the staff is really so kind. The rooms were well-sized and the amenities sufficient. The tatami mats smell amazing, which is something I hadn't considered! We had the kaiseki dinner and also breakfast which were elaborate and full of interesting and new food items we hadn't had before. Again, this can be good or bad depending on your spirit of adventure. We utilized the onsen, which was clean and useful.
If you are seeking a ryokan in Kyoto, I would recommend this one.

Fantastic ryokan. The staff has a really good English and everyone was nice to us. There is a little shop in front of the front desk and free coffee (If my mind is not fooling me). The room was exceptional, had a nice view and futons. Bathroom was great and separated from toilets. There is a tatoo friendly onsen on top floor open until 12 am. The gaiseki was amazing, the chef explained to us how to eat every dish in English and was fun.

Great traditional ryokan. If you want a gentle introduction to Japanese inns while in Kyoto city centre, you cannot go wrong with this one. We did n't manage to try the public bath, but room and service were excellent.

Location is pretty good. There are a number of local "drinking holes" towards the station and a very popular ramen joint just a couple of blocks from the hotel (same street). We walked to the major Kyoto attractions although this might longer than others might willing to walk.

This is a pretty traditional ryokan. It’s pretty basic room and amenities. Spacious room with a nice and clean bathroom which is a must. If you’re looking for an average ryokan experience, you will get it. Definitely delivers for the price.

The place was great. Best thing was the staff. They were so nice and accommodating. I was late for my check in but the staff helped me by waiting to still serve me dinner when I got there. They were waiting out front for me and helped me out all with everything. They were the nicest people. The facilities were great too. Food was delicious. The room was lovely. The onsen was relaxing. I'm very happy with my stay there.

I was so amazed by how friendly the staff was to me and my family! Great rooms! Amazing food! Best location! I read the reviews before booking so I felt confident in my stay however they beat my expectations! I will recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kyoto! I will be back - see you next year!

This hotel was lovely! Relaxing in the public bath after a long day seeing the sights was our highlight. The staff was friendly, helpful, and thorough explaining the property and more traditional Japanese elements. We would absolutely recommend this property and will stay again on our next trip.

Very clean and comfortable stay. If want a ryokan experience, this is a good place to stay.
However, do note that Kyoto station though walkable, is quite a distance if you don’t take a bus nearby. After a long day out, you will find walking a bit more is a drag.
Didn’t get to experience their breakfast as they could not accommodate at arrival (fully booked).
Our overall was generally very good. Try it to experience tatami style rooms.

A memorable ryokan experience~!

Super nice and friendly staff! Loved the traditional room with tataki mats, and with a dedicated area to enjoy some tea and the view! The kaiseki meals were amazing, it was like eating small art pieces! And you can wear japanese yukata while you are moving around in the ryokan! They also had an open bath at the top floor, which was really warm and relaxing~! Would love to come back! ^^

We booked the traditional style ryokan room, and loved it! I know some westerners might scoff at the mat style bedding in those rooms but they do warn you before you book, and I happened to find it quite charming and comfortable. Staff were so welcoming and the location is a five minute walk to a train station. Lovely hotel and our room was beautiful.

Staff during the kaiseki meals were great. Explained all the dishes and how to eat them in english. Delivery of courses was timely.

The 8 tatami mat room was cozy. Had a dedicated sitting area to enjoy tea by the window. Aircon and air filter worked well. The only inconvenience is that the sink is on the opposite side of the room from the bathroom.

The onsen was not crowded at all on a Tuesday night.

Overall, an enjoyable one night stay for a couple.

Excellent hotel

Stayed for one night here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had good amenities. The onsen (bath) at the 6th floor was very nice and had good water temperature, not too hot but pleasantly warm.
The kaiseki dinner and breakfast chef was super friendly and spoke good English too - he explained what each dish was clearly.
I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Kyoto.
