Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The food and beverage facilities were particularly outstanding. While this is not the hotel’s fault, I was quite disturbed by the noise made by other guests, especially voices in the hallway.

コロナ禍以前によく利用していて、今回は久しぶりの宿泊でした。朝食が本当に美味しくて、ちょっと高いですがその価値はあると思います。また、ロビーの雰囲気がとても良く大好きです。スタッフの皆さんがとても気持ちの良い接客をしてくださり、快適に過ごせました。家族もとても喜んでくれ、ぜひまた利用したいと思います。

口コミでチェックインは自チェックイン機でと知っていたので、スムーズに出来ました。
ホテルのロビーの雰囲気もとても良く、海外の旅行者の方も多かったです。アメニティは、薄めのガウン、簡易スリッパ、歯ブラシがありました。部屋も清潔で、コーヒー、緑茶のティーパックも置いてありました。
ポット、小型冷蔵庫、ヘアドライヤーもありました。
新宿駅から少し歩きますが、便利な場所だと思います。また、利用者したいと思います。

日曜に利用させて頂きました。
スタッフがチェックイン機の側で説明していただくので、初めての方でも大丈夫だと思います！

夜22時くらいにチェックイン。
海外からのお客さんが大半なのでロビーが賑わっていました。異国の雰囲気を味わいたい方にはいいかもしれません。

泊まった部屋ですが、
お子様連れの宿泊客が近い部屋だったようなので朝方に物音がしました。
旅行先の騒音は仕方ないことなので個人的には気になりませんが、
チェックアウトギリギリまで静かに過ごしたい方には少し不向きかな？という感じです。


パスキーのオートロックなので部屋の安全面は問題ないと思いますが
夜の都庁前駅は暗く、人気も少ないです。
ホームレスが等間隔でいたのを確認したので、
1人で利用する方は周囲に気をつけて行った方がいいですね...


朝はホテル一回のベーカリーを利用しました。
開店早々たくさんのお客さんが入ってきたので
開店数分前に待っておくといいと思います。
ボリュームたっぷりで満足でした！

冷蔵庫が全く冷えずフロントへ連絡。すぐに別のものに替えてもらいました。ただ、部屋に館内の利用方法等の資料が無かったことと、お風呂の排水口が詰まっているのか、シャワーを浴びたお湯が流れず、次に人が入るまで排水されるのを待たなければならなかったのが不便を感じた。

チェックインの際のフロントの方も丁寧で優しくとても良かったです。
お部屋のベッドや動いても音が気にならないシーツも枕も私には合っていて、ぐっすり眠ることができました。
バス停も近く交通の便は良かったです。
お借りしたヘアアイロンを帰りにフロントへお返しするのを忘れてしまいました。
部屋に置きっぱなしです。本当にごめんなさい。

チェックインの方法で、支払いの際違う宿泊者の金額が出ていた。（わざわざ名前を検索するのに違う宿泊者のデータが出るって意味が分からない。また宿泊金額から支払い画面までの遷移が早くて、もし楽天ペイの支払いエラーが出てなかったらそのままの金額払ってたと思うゾッとした）
オシャレではあるが、施設は古め、壁が薄いのか隣の声が聞こえて来ることがあった。

If you are NOT worried about having experiences of something "Very Japanese" -- this hotel is Okay, as it looked almost foreign country like European bakery, cafe and bar. If you would like to visit Kyoto, very popular place with lots of temples, shrines and Japanese gardens, this hotel is not Japanese style at all. just staying with nice bakery cafe breakfast, is fine! very good bakery and cafe bar! also the location is very convenient, in Shinjuku area, nearby Tocho-mae station.
They do not provide everyday room cleaning -- no cleaning for 5 days we stayed. They provide very different services, compared to other Japanese hotels.

ユニットバスなので ゆっくりお風呂に入りたい、湯船につかってリラックスしたい人には不向き・・歩き疲れて足腰が痛くても マッサージなどのサロンや、サービスもない ただ泊まるだけなら大丈夫かも。宿泊客もベーカリー利用も ほぼ外国人観光客でした。東京なのに外国っぽい雰囲気を味わいたい方々にはおすすめかも・・

Room was close to most locations. 20-30 minute walk to Shinjuku area. Please with the size of the room. Lobby and front desk were helpful and accommodating. Yamato Luggage delivery service was accepted and worked seamlessly, delivering from Kyoto. We were able to store our luggage after we checked out.

Only improvements: needs more trash cans in the room. Only one small bag in the bathroom. One trash was used for the whole room. Some charging outlets were faulty. Thermostat was a bit odd. Minimum temperature was set to 20C. The room felt too hot, luckily we could open the window for fresh air. Hotel had limited towels. Exactly 1 set of towels for 2 people.

This Hotel is in a great location to explore the Shinjuku and Shibuya area, the staff are amazing and the restaurant downstairs for both breakfast and dinner was top notch!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo we cannot wait to return next year!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was very basic and the bathroom was more like a trailer, not a real washroom. My room was very noisy at night, with trucks, beeping, construction sounds etc. The location was convenient.

This hotel was great. This was the 7th hotel we stayed in while touring Japan and it had all the things we've come to appreciate in Japan except the breakfast and the bakery were quite expensive. Thankfully there are better options nearby. Would stay here again.

Loved the location, it was a quieter part of Shinjuku, but yet central enough to walk everywhere or catch many different train lines. Struggled a bit with getting the air temperature down in the room as we were on the side with scaffolding, so windows only opened so far but otherwise had a great stay!

The food options were quite interesting, the various cultural influences it had on the restaurants and bakery were a nice treat. The breakfast AMAZING and the bakery top notch. The environment of the hotel was really nice though the rooms were very small and tight for 2 people.

The Knot is a perfect, reliable, clean, cool place to stay when in Tokyo. It’s also relatively affordable. Have stayed twice - the location is great. Walking distance to the action of shinjuku but in a quiet, tree-lined area dominated by a beautiful park. The rooms are very bare bones and small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. The coffee shop and cafe in the lobby are great and a wonderful convenience to get the day started. Will def stay here again when I’m next in Tokyo.

In the end I would not stay at this property again. I’ll give my pros and cons and you can decide. Pros: good price for Tokyo, a quiet serene park across the street, a few different subway options other than Shinjuku, about a 15 min walk, rooms a good size for Japan, near the Tokyo Meteopolitan building, which has free observatory towers and its beautiful day and night, along with a fun light show every evening.

Cons: the rooms are not individually climate controlled so we could not cool the room down and it was oppressively hot because they are now between seasons and have the hotel heat in but it is still nice outside, the beds and pillow (1), are just okay, definitely on the less comfortable spectrum of beds we had at other hotels, only 1 garbage in the room, nothing in the bathroom, poor noise insulation between floors and rooms. We were constantly leaving the area to see other sites, so in someways wonder if a more central location may have been more convenient however the amazing public transit system in Tokyo does help with that.

To be fair, we should have read more reviews and hotel info before booking. That said - I would NOT book here again.

You have no control of the thermostat. It’s was ridiculously hot in our room, even at night. We opened the window to get what little air we could. Only to wake up to bug bites.

They had an anniversary party for the hotel and closed down both bars and restaurants for the whole evening.

The laundry machines work. The dryer takes at least an hour for a small load though. We used the pin to lock the washer only to have to call maintenance to unlock the washer when our pin wouldn’t open the lid afterwards.

There are so many other hotels in the area. Pick a different one.

Really great service from all the staff! The whole hotel was clean, good breakfast with plenty of food for a vegetarian, the room and bathroom was good. Although I wish there was more place to hang my clothes, the space behind the door could be more useful as a simple wardrobe.
The bakery at the entrance of the hotel was a great surprise, so many yummy goods!

Room is in reasonable condition but is small. No closet. We lived off our suitcases but they get in the way as well due to lack of space. TV programming is entirely in Japanese except for one station, which is Japanese station mostly broadcasting local news. Bring a good novel. Staff is friendly enough but sometimes vague about giving directions. Location is good. Overall, the hotel is passable for a short stay.

Get the breakfast buffet pass!!! Everything opens at 10am or later so just eat at the hotel before heading out. You are right across a beautiful park in a quiet street 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station. The rooms are small w/o closets but the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are spacious enough. The second floor bar and lounge are super nice for a quiet sake drink and the music in the lobby plays all day and is appreciated. Front desk was always nice and the restaurant host and servers were super friendly. Also get a pastry and some coffee from the shop downstair and eat some ramen from the restaurant next door (cash only)...worth it.

We stayed at The Knot Tokyo Shinjuku for two nights after arriving from Osaka, where we stayed at the DoubleTree. Since we were only spending a short time in Tokyo, we booked a smaller room mainly for the location.

Upon arrival, the hotel immediately felt more like an upscale hostel than a proper hotel. Check-in was partly done at a kiosk, and the front desk staff member didn’t come across as genuinely friendly. We received several papers with our room PIN, hotel rules, and a notice about construction between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

When we reached the room and opened the curtains, we found construction scaffolding directly outside our window. When I asked to change rooms, I was told it wasn’t possible. Only after mentioning I would escalate to Expedia did the staff suddenly find an option to move us after the first night.

The room was extremely small, with only one USB outlet near the bed. The beds were uncomfortable, the walls were thin, and we could clearly hear noise from other rooms and the hallway. The bathroom felt cramped, similar to a camper-style setup.

Another disappointing point: despite charging over $200 per night, the hotel does not offer any full room cleaning service at all. Under their so-called “eco” policy, they only replace towels but do not clean the room, make the bed, or refresh amenities. This is unacceptable for a hotel at this price level.?

Chambre très propre, personnel accueillant, emplacement bien car un peu plus loin de la foule, plus loin du métro mais avec le parc en face c’est très bien et calme! Chambre petite mais fonctionnel, nous nous attendions à cette grandeur!
