This is a “VRBO apartment” using the Hotels.com website to market. After I completed the booking (including payment) on the Hotels.com website - emails started coming to us to provide additional requirements and documentation. Not from Hotels.com but from an unidentified sender that was requesting personal information and scanned documents on each occupant of the unit. I felt extremely uncomfortable to provide the information and transfer it internationally. None of our other booking on the trip had this happen. Then came the threatening emails regarding police and extra charges for various activities. I contacted Hotels.com who tried to contact the owners, but could not get any answers. They told me not to be concerned and that they would try to resolve the situation. It did not make me feel comfortable arriving in an international setting wondering if everything was going to be OK. When we got to the apartment, it took us 20 minutes to open the lock box containing the key to the front door. It was 90 degrees and 100% humidity. After we got in, started the AC, did the video chat requirement - the rest of the stay was okay. We were only in the unit for two nights and did our best to leave no footprint of our stay. I feel that everything that need to be requested should have been done when the booking with Hotels.com was initially set up and before the payment was collected. Communication was the issue. One positive note, theres a view and in a walking distance of the Skytree.

Great for value in a very convenient location in Tokyo. Lots of space. 3 bedroom and a large living and dining area. Very convenient train station to Narita airport and other parts of Tokyo. Liked the view of the Tokyo Skytree from the two bedrooms.

Would have preferred if wifi information was available ahead of time instead of having to ask the host.

Also condition of the apartment could have been slightly better. Cracked window, dusty floors and would have appreciated some tea/coffee and hand soap in the toilet and kitchen.

The space is very good, the beds are very comfortable, and is close to the metro station to move anywhere
