The hostel is well equipped and organised however in the dormitory bunk beds , there was a guy who kept snoring ( not normal passable snoring , it's very loud annoying snoring )all the night every day and kept me awake and not well slept

IF YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE SNORING TERRIBLY LIKE THIS WHILE YOU ARE ASLEEP DON'T BOOK A DORMITORY TO BEGIN WITH!!!

Very very bad. Not clean, the bedroom looks like a slum, no safe space to keep your personal belongings, all the suitcases and other people bags are thrown on the floor disrupting the passage. Their lounge / social area is a dumpster. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in Japan.

Vi var her en nat for at prøve at bo på et capsule hotel. Der er meget lydt og man kan tydeligt høre når folk lyner kufferter!
Stedet er pænt og rent, der er et bad og to toiletter pr etage.
Man kan kun tjekke ind efter kl. 15, så man kan ikke komme tidligt og aflevere kuffert!

Super prix pour Kyoto bon emplacement pas loin du château qui est un bon point de départ, peut être un peu plus d’aération serais bienvenue pour les odeurs rémanentes sinon chambre plutôt confort pour une capsule 👌

The rooms were small but very well maintained, so for the price I'd say its a fair option. My only gripe is that the hotel wifi only really works in your room, when I was at the lounge trying to video call friends and family back home really didn't work at all. Which normally wouldn't have been an iusse but your not supposed to make any noise in the rooms so that kinda left me with the only option of waiting till 1 am to use the lounge which sucks.

Las insonoración de las habitaciones privadas no era idónea (no hablo de laa cápsulas), alejado del metro, la zona común deficiente, pocos asientos, nevera pequeña para todo el edificio, un microondas y no siempre funcionaba el agua potable, deberia estar más equipada, mucho frio en la sala, tampoco hay vistas al exterior. Limpieza y baños muy bien.

There are limited shopping options in the area and it’s a bit of a distance from the station. The capsule hotel is clean and elegant. I would recommend this for a capsule hotel experience.

Good but with some caveats

The hotel is a little out of the way so transport links are limited. The hotel is nice and the facilities great but a lack of large luggage storage is annoying - leaving it in the lobby is suggested but the door is unlocked 24/7. I managed to fit my large suitcase inside the bunk with me on a shelf. There is a small rucksack sized lockable storage in the bunk (bring your own padlock)

Separate showers and toilets were perfectly clean. However there are showers in the room which are so noisy if someone took a shower at midnight.

Clean but zero privacy/loud. Got zero sleep.

There was zero privacy. I was staying with my brother in their double room and we had to leave and book another hotel for the rest of our stay in Kyoto.
My complains are mainly about the guests and the staff not controlling the rules they put in place. Guests were listening to their phones or playing game out loud, all night long. The person beside us was snoring so loudly that not even noise cancelling headphones worked. There were people getting in and opening their bags at 2am (think they were packing or unpacking). Other people using the hair dryer at 2am. It was a whole ordeal, and I couldn’t sleep at all.

wenig einladend leider, aber bei dem Preis noch in Ordnung. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafsaal funktionierte leider nicht ordentlich, daher war es ziemlich heiß. Der Bereich mit den Waschbecken (Zähne putzen, Haare föhnen etc) direkt neben den Betten ohne Abtrennung, ist ungünstig…sehr laut, auch spät in der Nacht oder früh am Morgen wird man da geweckt.

There's no elevator between floors, so it's not accessible for those with mobility issues. Other than that, it's a great hotel with nice amenities.

Fint kapselhotell sentralt i Kyoto

Veldig fint hostell. Behagelige senger. Eneste problemet er at når ikke veggene går helt opp til taket så er det ikke lydtett

I had a very bad experience at this hotel, due to a mistake that anyone can pay for. It turns out that a guest and I had the same shoes and on the day of my checkout, due to confusion, I took his shoes. The hotel management wrote me a threatening and unsympathetic email where they called me a thief and so on. In the end, I went to hand in the shoes and let them see that I had the same shoes and they never apologized for labeling me as a thief. I spoke to the owner of the shoes, a very friendly Frenchman, and everything ended with a handshake.

Good Stay!

This capsule hotel worked fairly well for us. Nice location in regards to the imperial palace and nijo-jo castle. They are quite strict on some of the rules about where you can talk, sit, etc. Only cons would be that the wifi does not work on the top floor lounge/working space and that the bathrooms stall doors are quite loud when closing so they did wake us up in the night. Would stay again.

Really love the free toiletries and the group area on the 5th floor. The rooms had beds in inconvenient locations on the third floor and it did get very stuffy and hot at night.

平價不錯的選擇

雖然離地鐵站有點遠（走路15分鐘），但是坐公車的話就省事很多，房間我買二人房，雖然有點小但還是不錯，滿乾淨的，晚上附近很安靜，不會被吵到，隔音略差，可以去附近的藥妝店買耳塞（飯店送的有點太大了，塞不進我的耳朵），覺得走路沒問題的人可以考慮這間。

This place is so clean, sterile and well run. It is from the future it is so clean. However, a big however, the drapes in the rooms/pods are metal and so are the locks. The metal drapes are magnetized so they slam and are just loud. My room was right by the exit and no lie, I was woken up more in 2 nights here than I have been the previous 5 years of my life. This is all human error and inconsiderate hostelers but you run that risk. One of the nicest places can be but can be severely loud to a point where the dead are awoken

It is quite a distance from the rail lines and limited bus service on the road it is one. There are also very few restaurants and shops within the area. you will need to walk 15-20 minutes to have any real selection.

This capsule was a fun idea but there wasn’t thick doors/walls that prevented you from hearing everyone talk and move and snore. I expected more prevention of this. Also the bed to desk space was about a foot, so trying to navigate the two person room was difficult to do. Staff was friendly and amenities provided were good! It’s definitely fun but maybe not for multiple nights. We stayed three

Horrible.

I knew that I was getting something cheap, but this was just horrible. Paper thin madras on concrete floor. Shared bathrooms constantly out of order. And young people in the front desk who couldn’t care less.

Overall fantastic stay. Only complaint was that the bed was ROCK SOLID. As in no foam padding just plywood. I had to sleep on top of the comforter provided to give myself some cushioning. But otherwise not a single issue:)
