quiet and comfortable

Location was good. No view from windows, which I did not care for a business trip.
My room (standard twin for single use) was spacious and very much comfortable, just like the photos of their HP.
Breakfast menu was unique, I enjoyed though. Their supports for customers were natural and attentive.
Deffinitely would like to come back.

「快適に過ごせました！」

・フロントの方の応対が大変丁寧で、こちらの質問に対してきめ細かく答えてくれました。
・室内も広くはありませんが、加湿器の付いた空気清浄機があり、ミネラルウォーターも用意してありました。
・バスルームはバスタブと洗い場が別なので、使いやすいです。お湯にゆったり入れて足の疲れも取れました。
・難を言えば、椅子が1脚しかないので、部屋で朝食を食べたときに不便でした。
・今回2回目の宿泊ですが、機会があればまた泊まりたいです。お世話になりました。

立地の良いホテル

旅行初日に宿泊しました。荷物を持っていたため京都駅でコインロッカーを探しましたが、行く先すべて埋まっており、チェックイン前にホテルに預かっていただきました。京都駅からも近く大変便利に感じました。周辺にも観光スポットが多く部屋も綺麗で良かったです。

オーナーが好人物

設備はディザインも嫌味がなくほぼ満足、バスルームが独立しているのが評価できます。
細部に気を使っているのが分かります。
オーナーと少しの時間話したが、気さくな方で好感が持てました。
飲食の情報は、既存の情報誌等だけだったのはオーナーの印象から期待すすぎだった？
レンタサイクルが何台かありましたが、利用方法は？

今回初めて利用しました。コーナーツインは広く快適です。特にバスルームはバスタブがゆったりしてリラックスできます。一点、デスク椅子の座り心地があまり良くないと感じました。全体では素晴らしいのでまた利用したいと思います。

お洒落なビジネスホテル

見た目はお洒落なビジネスホテルという雰囲気ですが、窓が小さく隣のビルが迫っていて外は全く見えない。
歯ブラシのクォリティが低く使いにくい。浴室に洗濯物を干す設備なく長期の滞在は不可。木製の椅子はお尻が痛かった。朝食は量味共良区、スタッフの感じは良かった。

申し分なくコンパクトで清潔なホテル

買い物や飲食に便利な地区にあり、京都駅から地下鉄乗り換えなしで行けるし、地下鉄の駅からも近い。ホテル前の道路は広くて、河原町通りのように騒々しくないので気に入りました。
カフェスペースでのお茶のサービスは、散策の予定を考えるのに最適でした。
スタッフも親切でフレンドリー。
部屋は新しく清潔で、臭いに敏感な私にも気になる臭いは無く、加湿機能付きの空気清浄機も嬉しかったです。洗面台が部屋にあるホテルは初めてでしたが、いちいちバスルームのドアを開けずに手軽に使えるし、鏡に周りに照明があったのでメイクには重宝しました。
街歩きの旅好きには最適なホテルです。

旅行で京都へ行ったということもあり、ホテルのランクとしては高いと感じましたがビジネスホテルっぽい印象を受けました。良いホテルなのはかわりませんが。
あと、京都駅からは少し距離があり荷物が多いと少し大変かも。

I love this cozy hotel. Walkable distance to subway and restaurants. Only 10 mins walk to Ginza. Most important they provide free tea and coffee throughout the day.

I liked that it was close to shopping and public transport. Family Mart on the doorstep. Our room had no window as I’d was close to the building next door. Didn’t bother us too much because we were only inside to go to sleep.

Lovely staff and clean and comfortable hotel!

Lovely comfortable stay in Kyoto, the staff was amazing, room was comfortable. Quiet area with a restaurants and convenience stores around. It’s a few blocks away from subway and bus lines but also somewhat walkable 20 mins to heart of Kyoto. But after being tired from walking all day, it was tiring walking back from bus stop.

The property was good, staff were friendly, and they even offered a voucher for a soft drink/wine during our stay. My only complaint is that the room was very tight. We had a corner room with three twin beds so there was no room for our suitcases. We had to move a chair out o the room to put a suitcase under the desk. Otherwise room was clean and our stay was pleasant.

Overall, the property was good. It was in a good location with food and station options. The service and employees were good and they went out of their way to help. The only thing that I was a little disappointed was the hotel charged us 300 yen for additional towels.

Great Kyoto Experience

The folks at Kyoto Itoya did a great job of making me feel welcome. They explained everything I needed to know about my room. The loaner umbrellas they provide are great for walking around the city. The small cafe on the second floor is really nice. Very central location, easy to walk from there to public transport. And they support luggage delivery, and helped me get my luggage sent on to my next hotel, which was a tremendous boon.

I made the decision because of the price, but when I arrived at the accommodation, I was happy to receive a welcome coupon. And the height was the old key, so it represented the atmosphere of Kyoto well. And I liked the size of the market because I was staying alone.

The breakfast was of great quality. I like that the location is relatively walkable/just a short cab ride away to different sites. The surrounding area is quiet and makes you feel like you are a part of the everyday scenery. It would be better if the hotel can provide lotion in addition to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The hotel doesn’t provide daily cleaning (only towel change and taking out trash) unless you stay for more than four nights. Slightly more frequent cleaning would be a huge plus. We stayed for three nights and as much we tried to keep the room clean, the floor still gets a bit messy. Overall a very pleasant stay and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff were all very nice and super helpful. Room service was very nice as well and respectful of our space and personal items. It was unfortunate that there was no coin laundry or laundry machines inside the hotel, but the laundry rooms were a very walkable distance. Other than that, we had a very nice stay!

Clean and great location. Not much space for luggage but still value for money. Should make clear that there is extra charge for towels and pillows. when booked for a family of 4 only 2 sets are provided because it was a twin room. I would rather the fee for addition towels etc is added to the total cost of the room.

Good stay

Nice place, but it seems the building is on the "older"/aged side. The room I was assigned to had cracks in the wall, but nothing big. The amenities indicate laundry facilities, but it is more a laundry service that the front desk will receive and do it for you, it's not a self-service laundry room. Aside from this, it was a nice stay, staff is very nice.

Great Find!

We stayed at this hotel for 4nights. The size of the room and washroom was good for a family of three. The bed and pillows was comfortable. The location of the hotel is accessible to subway/metro and bus station. It's also near 7-eleven and other restaurants. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

Convenient location to metro stops, restaurants and convenience stores. Very clean and efficient space. We enjoyed the many small but detailed Japanese hotel amenities such as an air freshener spray and a full set of toiletries. The staff were incredibly friendly and courteous as well.

Angenehmes, modernes Hotel in recht ruhiger Lage

Modernes, sauberes Boutique-Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Mit dem Check-In ab Punkt 15:00 nehmen sie es aber bisschen sehr genau. U-Bahn etwa 5min entfernt, das Stadtzentrum (Einkaufsstraßen) kann man aber auch zu Fuß erreichen.

The check in is exactly at 3pm without exception. So at 3pm everyone that is waiting in the lobby lines up (and waits in the line) to resister.

Flexibility of accessing rooms once they have been cleaned and checked would go a long way in improving their customer service.

Nice hotel in Kyoto. The facilities were all updated and the room was nice. The room was comfortable but a tiny bit crowded with 2 suitcases (typical of cities in Japan, though). One minor thing was the elevator - there is only 1 and no good access to stairs, so we had to wait a while a few times to be able to get up to the top floor. We did the breakfast a few days and there are limited options but the food was good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff with English skills. Hotel is in a good area, within a 30 minute walk to the heart of Gion and Nishiki market. Close to a few subway stops that will get you around the rest of the city.

The toilet and the shower rooms are separated. Large bathroom for a cheap price. Worth every penny. They give you a free drink voucher and they have a selection of coffee and teas.

Excellent hotel. Will stay here again.

Todos son muy amables te pueden rentar bicicletas, la habitación es pequeña para términos occidentales y el lavabo está fuera del baño, sin embargo es cómoda y amigable. Tienes que caminar 2 cuadras a la entrada del metro o una al Starbucks.

Room and hotel felt dark and stuff

Is it just me? The hotel felt dark and stuffy. I was getting clarastrophic. I felt dizzy and couldnt breathe in the hotel. We were planning to stay for 6 nights but asked for a refund so we could move to a more open space. The best part was they were very nice and accommodating. They asked if we wanted a bigger room and ended up letting us cancel 4 nights.
