Ci siamo trovate molto bene. Il primo giorno Jo, il ragazzo di turno dal pomeriggio alla sera, è stato molto gentile perché avevamo un problema con il condizionatore della camera e ci ha assegnato una stanza più bella. È vero che stavamo 6 notti ma abbiamo apprezzato. L’aparthotel è molto carino e anche vicino alla metropolitana. Il personale molto gentile. La colazione è ok. Non c’è molta varietà ma abbiamo apprezzato.

Great stay! Safe and quiet area. Close to Shichijo station. Popiscles and soba available for guests daily. Only critique would be relatively difficult to get to Kyoto station, as no connecting subway near hotel so have to cab it or walk a fair distance

This is our favorite hotel in Japan. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful - they bend over backwards to provide the very best customer service. The hotel is new and has so many luxurious and thoughtful amenities. Everything is incredibly clean, in excellent condition and just like the photos online. Furthermore, the hotel has a beautiful view of the river with many windows and a private patio (at least for our room) to enjoy the view.

The floorplan is excellent and very well suited for families or groups. The beds and bedding are so comfortable and the location so quiet, we were so well rested. There are many thoughtful amenities from the free juice, ice cream, and noodle station in the afternoon, to the roof deck, to the free bikes to borrow and explore Kyoto with, to the wonderful breakfast. All sorts of toiletries are available (and free) in the lobby in case you forgot your toothbrush or need an extra bathrobe or Q-tips. There are dimmable reading lights next to the bed, and a very useful kitchenette.

The hotel is well located and close to many public transportation options and convenience stores, while being in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. One can easily walk to downtown Kyoto and other wonderful areas to explore. We only wish we had spent more time at this hotel as it excellent. We could not recommend it more and were truly impressed by the hotel and the excellent staff. Thank you for making our stay in Kyoto so memorable - we truly felt pampered!

My husband and I really appreciated the hospitality of the front desk staff, who were knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel had bicycles that we could borrow for 2 hours at a time and that ended up being so much fun and a great way to explore and see the city like the locals. The complimentary soba noodles and coffee were great, too! The room was the most spacious out of the 5 hotels we stayed at on this trip (also very clean), and we will never forget the memories we made here.
Tip: Sending your luggage ahead of time to your next hotel is worth it! The front desk can help you with that.

It was so impressive for us when we arrived. This is a very clean and gorgeous hotel with a nice view. This hotel is located at the heart of Kyoto where we could walk to every place that we wanted to visit in Kyoto. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. I highly recommend it.

La habitación es muy cómoda para las 3 personas que viajamos, con excelentes amenidades. La ubicación es buena cerca del metro y algunas estaciones del bus. Lo único que no nos gusto mucho fue el desayuno, no estamos acostumbrados al tipo de comida que ofrecen.

Japanese-western fusion property: rooms are equipped similar to Japanese apartments - compact but everything you need is available. Breakfast however is western style only (sadly): eggs, sausages, cereals, toast, croissants, pancakes plus tea/coffee and juices.

Overall a good experience though.

Great, large room that is a converted apartment. Washing machine and drying system in room was fantastic. Only thing that we disliked was little access to mass transit near hotel…long walks anywhere you go. So we did more Uber Taxi’s than we had planned, but those were nice. Friendly staff.

Convenient location for public transport, walkable to Kiyomizu Dera and Kyoto National Museum, very helpful staff (fetched a taxi and helped load luggage in rain), very clean units that was well laid out for a family of four.

Lovely hotel, very quiet area, Joe was fantastically welcoming, professional and friendly.
Close to a metro station and 15 minutes walk to the Geisha district.
Family mart and seven eleven 5 minutes walk away.
The decor and design throughout the hotel were a perfect blend of traditional and modern.

Our room was very spacious. I shared the room with my mom and we got the room with a double bed and a twin bed on a bunk. There was lots of room for us to hang out. Loved the included breakfast although I wish there was a little more variety thru the week. It can get old. Free afternoon drinks and popsicles were a plus. Joe was amazing. His customer service is top notch. I dealt with a few other staff and they did not meet his standard. He was incredibly helpful.

I wish there was were some more hooks by the door as well as in the bathroom. For hanging coats and towels.

Convenient location walkable to Kyoto station, many tourist attractions. The kitchenette and in room laundry made our extended stay easy, and, though there is no Onsen, inroom soaking tub was a good substitute.
The breakfast was the only thing that was not up to the excellent standards, with very generic cereal, scrambled eggs and toast.
We particularly appreciated Joe's friendly and efficient service.

Vi havde nogle skønne dage i Kyoto. Hiyori Stay gjorde det ekstra behageligt. Alt fungerede, og var der noget der drillede så kunne vi bare spørge. Sengene er hårde og vi sov godt. Der er gode vejledninger til at bruge vaskemaskine, tørre funktion, bruser/bad mm.

I had never seen a hotel with all 10/10 reviews before, so we stayed there to see for ourselves. It's no lie, the place was wonderful. The staff really make it special - they are lovely, friendly, helpful, engaging. We stayed there for a long stretch, and it was our favorite hotel in Japan by far. We were a family of four and opted to book two rooms. We were very comfortable, enjoyed the breakfasts and free drinks in the afternoon. We were able to do laundry in our rooms, too. We weren't sure how good the location would be, but as we got to know Kyoto a bit, it turned out to be an excellent location for exploring all parts of town. Can't recommend it enough. We miss our front desk friends! Hello from Colorado!

Delicious breakfast, very clean facilities, thoughtful amenities like complementary soft drinks, juice, popsicles, coffee, tea, hygiene products. Only a 15 minute walk to Gion and 3 minutes to the local train station. Only drawback was our room faced the river road and the sounds of cars and traffic could be heard at night.

My wife and I traveled for the first time with our 7 month son. We were met at the front desk by Joe. He provided over the top hospitality. He saw our baby and immediately offered us a crib, diaper trash can, and a milk bottle sterilizer. We felt so welcome. It made our four day stay more comfortable.

It was nice to have the option of getting breakfast in the morning. I really enjoy their coffee machine and juice machine. After breakfast time is over, they offer ice cream, soda, and coffee for most of the day free of charge. The rooftop at night was very beautiful.

Walking distance to the train area. Convenience store and restaurants nearby. Safe neighborhood at night to walk. Would definitely come back here again.

Very welcoming hotel. Definitely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The welcome drink and ice cream was much appreciated. The roof top garden is a nice area and the lighting adds a special ambience. Joe in reception was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Absolutely in love with this apartment building-turned hotel. It made my stay feel so personal and comforting. I loved everything about the room – the space, the bed, the closet, the couch and tv, balcony, kitchen, the bathroom...and most importantly, the washing machine!!! I was travelling around Japan for 3 weeks, so the personal washing machine was an absolute blessing! The surrounding area of the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Subway station is a few minutes walk away. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I wish I knew more than just the basics in Japanese, but the staff spoke to me in English before I could even attempt any Japanese, so there were zero issues with communication. I was sad to have to check-out, I loved it there, but would definitely stay here again in the future (hopefully by then knowing how to speak a lot more Japanese)!

I stayed here for three nights, and loved it! I would have happily stayed longer. A few highlights:
- The rooftop patio: my friends and I loved it up here! The evening view of the city was beautiful, it was the perfect space to relax after a full day of walking and exploring.

- The happy hours in the lounge with sodas and popsicles! Such a simple thing, but it brought smiles to our faces each afternoon. A very nice touch.

- The free breakfast was always a good start to the day; we all especially enjoyed the fresh pancakes. One of the best parts about the breakfasts was the lovely staff! Each person greeted us with such happy smiles, it made the whole breakfast room feel like a very warm and welcoming space.

- The front desk staff! They were each super friendly, kind, and helpful. Joe in particular was so lovely in helping us figure out some transit options when we wanted to explore certain areas of the city.

- The fully equipped kitchenette and washer in the room was a lifesaver. The room in general was very comfortable and bright.

Our thanks for a wonderful stay! If I'm ever in Kyoto again, I will definitely stay here again.

Love it! Love it! Love it! Staff spoke fluent English, it was easy to ask for help. They have a chill rooftop on top. Walking distance to Shichijo station and supermarket and McDonalds is about 2 streets away.

The room was clean, neat and spacious. It has everything I need for a washer/ dryer to stove and iron and even an air purifier.

FYI, the actual hotel is wayyyy better than the photos.

Amazing place to stay. Highly recommended. A little walking for kyoto station, but different company trains are very near and walkable. They even provide bicycles for couple of hours.

This was a large room compared to other rooms we booked in Japan. Had a closet to keep everything put away during our stay. Loved having the ability to do laundry! The shower is in its own space and that is also where you hang your clothes to dry and turn on the dryer setting.

I was worried about the bed being overly firm, it was not. I’d say it was medium firm. I’m used to a very soft bed at home and still slept great on it. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I will stay here again for sure! Highly recommended.

Comfortable 5-night stay for 4 people in a Twin & Loft Bed Family Room (2 pairs of bunk beds). Modern facilities with kitchenette, washing machine, balcony (great for drying clothes in the hot weather), breakfast and a terrific rooftop sitting area with views across Kyoto. A 5 minute walk to either Shichijo or Kiyomizu-gojo station on the Keihan line, which goes all the way to Osaka. This was a great base for 5 days exploring Kyoto, Nara and Osaka.
