客室も綺麗で、最上階には温泉もあり、非常に素晴らしい滞在になりました。

ただ一点気になることがありました。それは、ロビーにあるトイレです。手洗い場にお客のゴミと思われるアイスのカップ等が大量に放置されていました。

海外からのゲストも非常に多かったため、仕方ないとは思いますが、ゴミ箱の設置等の対策を期待したいです。

中国観光団体客が多く、とくに大浴場マナーの悪さで嫌な思いした。
ビチョビチョのまま脱衣室に出入り床濡れる。
大声で喋るなど。使用マナー注意書きなど徹底しないと、他の客が嫌な思いする。

とても快適でよかったです。
10階の大浴場、露天風呂は広々して清潔で良かったです。背伸びをすると目隠しの向こうに京都タワーや京都の盆地を囲む山々も見えました。
朝食も和洋バラエティに富み良かったです。生卵で卵かけご飯があればもっと良かったです。

比較的新しいホテルのようで、全体的に設備は新しく、清潔感がありました。大浴場もきれいで、湯船2種類+サウナもありました。部屋もきれいで使い勝手よく纏まっています。部屋の作りの関係か、完全には真っ暗にはならず、早朝に朝日が入って目が覚めてしまったのは残念でした。

このホテルは初めての宿泊でしたが、最高でした♪
探していたのはトイレとバスは別であること、京都駅から近いこと（5分は歩きますが）だけでした。しかしスパもあり、ホテルも部屋もスパも綺麗で、3泊の連泊でしたが、毎日快適に過ごせました。またぜひ泊まりたいです。

ここ最近で宿泊したホテル、旅館の中でも上位です。
まず清潔、フロントスタッフもよく教育されているほうだと思います。
新しいのもあると思いますが、部屋の清掃が出来ており、満足です。
客室の間取りは無駄がなく、かと言って不便じゃない。
また利用したいですね。

両親が宿泊しました。大変喜んでくれました。足が悪くエレベーター近くのリクエストもきちんと対応して頂き助かりました。
お風呂も朝食も大変満足しておりました。京都宿泊の折にはまた利用したいです。

綺麗で快適

京都駅からすぐで立地もよく、綺麗なホテルでした。チェックイン前に荷物を預けることも出来て助かりました。
部屋のお風呂も綺麗だし、大浴場も綺麗でした。露天風呂もありました。快適な宿泊が出来ました。ありがとうございました。

フロントや各フロア廊下も綺麗で、ホテルマンの方々も本当に親切丁寧に対応して頂きました。
バースデーケーキをフロントで預かってもらった（冷蔵）のですが、受取りの際にお皿とナイフとフォークまでサービスで付けて頂き心遣いが最高でした。
少しだけ残念たったのが、大浴場での外国人客が風呂マナー違反の方が多く、そのあたりをホテルスタッフな方からこまめに是正して貰えたら嬉しいです。
とりあえず、また京都に来たらここに泊まりたいです！
素晴らしい時間と空間をありがとうございました

The hotel is absolutely lovely. I will say that the beds are very hard as are in the pillows, but overall the staff is very friendly. The amenities are great.

Thank you for the hospitality especially Alina! Clean and great location right by Kyoto tower! Everyone was very kind and helpful and the location is easy access to transportation and shopping centers. Breakfast was great with different varieties and onsen was wonderful! 深夜服務人員對應也快速非常值得讚美！前幾日住宿有一深夜住在隔壁的中國遊客男男女女開party,快到凌晨三點還是鬧哄哄，還會敲牆壁（靠近我床頭側），受不了去點櫃檯協助處理，不到5分鐘立馬安靜下來，我也能立馬睡著。
謝謝服務人員迅速對應，讓我能趕上隔日一早的會議。這些工作人員非常棒。

Hotel with a great location but too much happened

Hotel had a great location, close to the train station. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was reasonable. However, it is not as good as it could be since on the last night, at midnight, we had the fire alarm ringing and had to evacuate through the tiniest stairwell where the hotel would store garbage. Thankfully there was no fire, but showed how much of a safety hazard those stairs can be. A few hours later, before 6 am, a song started playing in our room, what we assume to be was a wake up call. However, we didn't request any. Because of that, on the last night we barely slept.

Its good, but …just basic

Pros: so close to Kyoto station, has hot spring Ofuro, lots of shops, clean, nice service.
Cons: the room is so bright, cannot sleep! One of windows from the bathroom n don't hav proper curtain that its so bright in the morning, bad design. This hotel do not want you to be around so there is no lounge area, no cafe or restaurant open, no chairs except this vertical sitting bench in photo. My friends stop by and we literally sat on this uncomfortable bench n to chat or when you come early n wait for check in time, no decent place for your family to sit and wait. So as hotel, clean and helpful but if you need some other basic, they dont have it. Be aware

L'hôtel est chic et très beau. Tout est très propre. Le personnel est sympathique et toujours prêt à aider. Notre chambre était très bien, propre et assez grande pour le Japon. Il est assez bien situé, pas trop loin du métro. Par contre il ny a pas grand hose aux alentours immédiats.

This is my second visit to ALA Hotel Kyoto.
The experience was extraordinary, and the service was great. The public bath is another reason for coming back to ALA.
Besides, it only takes around 8 min walk from Kyoto JR station, which is super convenient.

Hotel was clean for the most part. When I entered room it smelled of cigarette smoke. It’s a no smoking hotel so it shouldn’t have. I didn’t complain as I suspect they are all similar.
The room was big enough for me too with a large bed and a bath tub big enough for my lanky frame. The tv was rubbish and there was nothing in there to watch so I watched a movie on my laptop when getting back at the end of the day.
The onsen was good too seemingly clean and well maintained. There were no ice machines in the hotel. There was a vending machine on each floor and I used the laundry too.
The staff were helpful when required. I would stay here again if I came back to Kyoto.

A great place, very well located near Kyoto station. All you can eat BBQ across the road is a winner. My only comment would be the guest laundry. It needs ventilation. Our clothes did not get dry in the permanently moist room

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Within a 5 minute walk from Kyoto Station.
Staff are very polite, guests were polite and respectful.
There’s was a spa onsite which you can use even with tattoos. The hot water worked wonders on my sore limbs after venturing around the city.
Great amenities in the room. Loved the cleansing milk, it worked wonders!!
Overall great hotel. Wish I stayed longer now.
Definitely will be coming back on my next trip to Kyoto

We really enjoyed our stay at Ala. The hotel is very modern and centrally located - we specifically chose it because of its close proximity to the train station. Our favourite facility was their onsen, which was clean and well maintained. I would love to come and stay again

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The onsen with the outdoor wind was the best experience. The amenities were very high quality. The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful.

The building was very nice and the onsen was wonderful. However, the room was a little small (standard double room with queen bed) and felt claustrophobic. You must use the air purifier to get clean air in since the windows don't open. And the trays at breakfast have food stains - hotel should wipe each tray down for cleanliness so guests do not see light stains from other guests.

The women’s onsen and laundry areas were accessible with a women’s only keycard. Breakfast had a great variety of foods to choose from the east to western cuisine.
We chose 2 beds in our room: impressed by the fact that the shower and bathtub were separate from the toilet so one could fully enjoy a good soak in the tub if you didn’t want the public onsen. It was a spacious room by local standard.

Lovely hotel, spacious room, convenient location.

Positive: A very lovely hotel, stylish lobby, and the room was more spacious than many are in Japan so you feel less cramped. Plenty of places to put things, desk, chair, bench seat, shelving, hanging space, fridge. Very clean. The toilet, the handbasin, and the shower were all separated areas of our room which is more convenient for 2 people using the facilities. Shower also has a bath beside it. Decor is modern but has traditional Japanese touches. So close to Kyoto train station with all its shops and restaurants. Very friendly hotel staff. Check in and check out were seamless. Free laundry facilities were very appreciated. They have an onsen but we didn't use it. Bed comfortable.

Negative: Although the room is lovely and private, the room design means there is barely any natural light. One narrow window looks into a little stone garden but then just the backs of nearby buildings. The lack of natural light in the room can feel a little gloomy (we are used to the brightness of Queensland) and our hotel in Tokyo had had a big window with views so we'd gotten used to having that. The darker room also meant we slept later. :) My husband found the pillows very uncomfortable. They may have been buckwheat pillows or similar?

Random: One night of our stay there was a fire alarm at about midnight and we all had to evacuate, but it turned out to be a false alarm. Obviously not a regular event (you would hope) but was quite jarring at the time.

Stayed at ALA HOTEL KYOTO with my family of 11 and everyone loved it. There’s a big open-space paid carpark right next to the hotel with plenty of lots, so no stress finding parking. The lobby is bright, clean, and spacious — perfect for families waiting during check-in.

Staff were fluent in English, very friendly, and especially sweet to my toddler. She looked forward to seeing them every day thanks to their warm interaction.

Convenience stores are just a stone’s throw away, and major brands like Bic Camera, GU, Nishimatsuya, and Uniqlo are all within walking distance. It's also close to the JR Line, making the location very central and convenient. You can access everything easily via a nearby alley.

Rooms are compact but fit 2 large suitcases, 1 small suitcase, and an open stroller. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. The toilet amenities were superb.

Check-out was smooth, and I’d definitely stay here again. For smokers, there are indoor smoking areas on some floors — no need to head outside in winter.

This hotel is clean, had good comfy bed, good shower and good staff. The best thing is that it is only 5 mins walk from Kyoto Station which was very convenient; since the Station itself had many restaurants, stores, and even a dept. store (Isetan). I feel it is the perfect location to get around Kyoto.

Beautiful big room, with a deep soaking tub. Felt luxurious. Easy walk to Kyoto Station, the National Museum, and the Sanjūsangen-dō Temple of 1,001 Kannons. Excellent breakfast. I enjoyed my stay here.

Great modern and central hotel close to Kyoto stat

Wonderful modern hotel, conveniently located close to Kyoto central (5 min walk).

Large room with separated toilet and large bathroom.

Breakfast is mostly japanese style and excellent, assuming ofc that you do not prefer a Western style one. Omelette station was available.

Would love to stay here again.
