日本語の細かいことはあまり通じない。
例えばシャトルバスと公共バスの違いが分からない。ルームサービスも部屋で食べれませんでした。

Staffs would be trained more to provide professional services, overall experiences could be better if things are managed and operated better it is very loose right now could turn bad very easily.

部屋やホテル自体はキレイでした。

ホテルのレストランは微妙で場所が不便なところにあるため、周辺に飲食店も無かった為、バスで少し移動したところの飲食店へ行きました。

英語しか話せないスタッフもおり、完全に外国の方向けのホテルでした。
スタッフの方はいい方でしたが、日本人には少し物足りないと思います。

英語表記では温泉とありますが、
お風呂は温泉では無かったと思います。

泊まるところだけと割り切ればよいかもしれません。

せっかくの箱根なのに、お風呂の自由があまりきかなかった。家族風呂を使用する1回のみしか温泉につかれず、何度も入りたかったので不満です。
部屋もそんなに大きくなく、人数押し込まれた感があります。
建物自体も古く、掃除も行き届いているわけではない。
従業員さんが外国の方なので、日本人向けではないんだろうと推察できる旅館でした。食器の使い方、案内表示、サービス内容、日本人がテコ入れを全くしてない感じがしました。

ただ、外国の方ではありましたが、従業員さんはとても心を砕いてくださってるのがわかり、食事もとても柔軟に対応していただいた。それはとても感謝です。

でも申し訳ないけど、抹茶と煎茶は全く違うものなんです～！食後は煎茶が飲みたかった…

全体的にきれいな施設で、ペットも宿泊可能で価格もお手頃な点は良いと思います。予約制の露天風呂ですが、温泉ではないと思います。確かに日本語で温泉の文字はなく、露天風呂、英語でonsenと記載されていたので嘘ではないのかもしれませんが。。
箱根の温泉に入りたかったので、ちょっと残念でした。
あと、部屋のテレビが地上波が映りませんでした。YouTubeなどは見れましたので、まあ良かったです。

スタッフの方達はとても丁寧に接客して下さりました。お風呂も毎回貸切でゆっくり入る事が出来ました。
部屋も広くゆっくり出来たのですがテレビが映ったり映らなかったりでした。まぁ場所的に電波は悪いのでしょうね。
子供達は大喜びで次回もまたこちらでお願いしたいです。

As of July 2025 the private onsen are BRAND NEW, the staff told me they just redid them . Do not different than the photos online, but still extremely comfortable. This place is excellent, the staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and so quiet. Very good value

Staff was attentive, prompt, and kind. I stayed for four nights; one night I had forgotten to book a time slot for the onsen, and they still made sure I had one later in the evening. Above and beyond. Thanks!

Typisk japansk hotel med tynde madrasser på gulvet, lavt bord og stole uden ben - ikke beregnet til høje eller kraftige mennesker. Ingen bad på værelset, men nede i kælderen. Onsen-badet er dejligt. Maden - aftensmad og morgenmad er meget kedeligt, og aftensmaden i meget små portioner. Personalet er meget venligt og servicemindet.

Very quiet area. Take a bus down to the lake to go for a hike or chill. Not much at the nearest marina but you can walk to Main Marina where all the ships and people visit for great pictures.

The hotel Is un the middle of nowhere and the options to eat there was too expensive. the Onsen was amazing but one use of 50 minutes per day
The room did not have bath o shower, only Toilet and sink

Excelent staff, going above and beyond to help and provide everything guests need. Super friendly and approachable. The facility is on the bus line to the lake and to the topelines so it is very convenient as well. Plus private daily onsen. You cant beat that!

Onsen was excellent. But they only have private onsen outdoors. No extra onsen. We loved how it was close to Lake Ashi, but if that's not the only place you are going... transportaiton may become a problem. This location is more than 50 bus stops from the train station. You pass all of the local areas and stores. This location has strong Onsen smell, and our room had a broken faucet... It was okay but we will not use this location for our next visit. Dining option is only at this hotel as you can't find anyting near by, and although their food was good, it seemed expensive for what you get. But again, perfect for a short 2-day trip of Lake Ashi and ropeway and some time in Onsen. That's all we did and could do as it was very cold and snowing when we visited.

Great remote hotel. Although, given it's location there is not much to do, and day trips would cost quite a lot of time in travel itself.
The room and the service was great. The Onsen was really nice and easy to get access to by just reserving a time slot when you are checking in!

The water had a wierd smell, the onsen was boiling hot to the point where we couldn't tolerate it, and the food was not good. All 3 of us got food poisoning from the "traditional Japanese breakfast " they served

The property is hard to get to unless you have a car. The onsens.can.omly be reserved for 50 mins in the evening and while there is a restaurant, the options are very.lkmited.

Great staff: we reached very late at night. The manager was kind enough to extend our onsen reservation for half hour without us asking. He stayed well past the midnight to make sure our onsen experience is complete! We are so grateful to him. Moreover, the facility is much nicer than we expected: Large lobby and living facilities, great decor and the private onsen is out of this world!

Our stay was great, it was a beautiful and quiet place. The Onsen itself was perfect.

I think the only downside was the food was just ok. We were expecting more food options in the area, but when we realized there wasn’t anything close by, we ate at the hotel, and the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The breakfast was decent and they give you a lot of food. The dinner though, I’m pretty sure the pizza I had was microwaved.

The staff were great and were very nice. We will probably stay here again in the future.

My sister and I had a terrible day of traveling, when we got to Yuyu Hakone Suna had saved the last onsen time for us. She was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcomed. Amazing service.

Highly recommend this hotel. We stayed two nights and booked 2 slots for our private hot spring bath. We want to comeback to Japan for this reason alone. Staff was extremely friendly and it was an awesome experience.

This is a traditional ryoken located in a tucked away area. We took a taxi to get there because it was raining but were able to leave by bus. The private onsen was lovely, big and beautifully built. We slept really well in the comfortable tatami room and futon bed.

Hôtel ou l’on peut privatiser un onsen.
On y circule en chausson (pas de chaussures) on dors sur des tatamis : une vrai expérience japonaise. Par contre très loin d’hakone et de Odawara (gare) et il n’y a pas de service de restauration le soir (et difficile de trouver un restaurant ) mais l’établissement propose des soupes déshydratées qui font le job

We had an amazing stay here! The staff was so helpful and accommodating for any of our needs or questions. They do have a limited food menu at the hotel but it was absolutely delicious! We ate on site both nights. The private onsen was fabulous and we were able to use twice daily. The floor mats were incredibly comfortable and we slept better here than most of the big hotels we stayed at in Tokyo. It took a little planning getting here via public transit but very much doable to get from here to Hakone and onward not having a private vehicle. This was our favorite stay in Japan.

For anyone that is looking for a traditional Ryokan, this place is amazing and exactly what you are looking for. Great facilities, private Onsen for your party, bath (or shower) is traditional as well (just a heads up). Have nothing bad to say about YuYu Hakone, but a heads up for any future travelers, this is a very quiet area and all things close fairly early in the afternoon and as you are at minimum 30 minutes away from near by cities (Odawara or Gotemba) with little to no ways of transportation, it is pretty dead for any adventuring past the afternoon.

But for the overall stay, great place, clean, and staff are very friendly and accomodating!

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel during my recent stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free, and my room was impeccably clean and comfortable. However, what truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding service provided by the staff.

As a solo traveler without a car, I was concerned about finding a place to eat dinner. The hotel manager kindly offered to personally drive me to a nearby restaurant, and even made a stop at a convenience store along the way so that I could pick up some necessities. This level of personalized attention and care went above and beyond my expectations, and made my stay truly memorable.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The staff's dedication to providing exceptional service and making guests feel at home is truly remarkable, and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality.

The hot spring was nice and clean and you get a private time slot, which is very nice. The rooms are cozy and have a balcony, Netflix etc. the staff is friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice experience.

Affordable place to enjoy a traditional room and a private onsen. Best to check if the restaurant is open and if not, bring food with you, if walking from the lake. It’s quite a walk and you won’t want to be walking down for food and back again.

Bien mais pas de restauration

Tout était bien sauf qu’il n’y avait pas de restaurant. La seule nourriture proposée était une minuscule foccacia vraiment pas bonne. Aucun restaurant proche, il fallait faire une grande marche et tout était fermé!
on aurait aimé être prévenus et apporter nos provisions.
Le onsen privatif était super. La chambre grande et les futons confortables.

Muy bonita experiencia

Mi primer experiencia en un alojamiento tradicional y fue muy bonita. Solo me quedé una noche. Bonito lugar! El lugar cumple con lo especificado en la página, el onsen es privado de tal forma que se asigna tiempo para ocuparlo y bañarse, la habitación al ser tradicional no tiene ducha, tienes que ir al onsen. El personal muy atento, nos ayudaron mucho hasta en acompañarnos a tomar el autobús (no nos quedaba claro como irnos a Odawara). Solo agregaría que contaran con mas opciones de comida. Muchas gracias!
