温泉浴場つき、和室、駐車場こみで5000円しないのは素晴らしいです。
トイレは共同でしたが、リフォームされておりとても綺麗でした。
部屋は古さはあるものの気持ちが良くとても静かでくつろげました。
空いていたからか、一人でも貸し切り風呂を使っても良いですよと言ってもらえました。
古い町並みなどからは駅の反対側になるため、歩くとまあまあかかります。

口コミ通りに良い宿

館内はとても清潔で、食事も美味しくスタッフの対応もとても良かったです。その日は大変寒く、エアコンだけでは室内が寒かったのでフロントに相談したら、直ぐに暖房器具を持って来てくれて快適に過ごせました。他のコメントでも高評価ですが、その通りの良い宿です。

お風呂の温度が私には熱すぎて、ゆっくりつかることができなかった。
こじんまりしているが、観光中心の旅には十分だった。
夕食は済ませてきたので、朝食だけいただいたが、温かく味付けも良く大変満足だった。

到着後　靴も下駄箱へは　自分たちで
部屋への荷物も自分たちで　旅館というより、アットホームな民宿といった　感じでし。
建物が古い感じ以外は　仲居さんもすごく、親切でした。
一歳６ヶ月の孫も一緒にいきましたが、夕食をするテープルに、孫用のスイングチェアーを準備してくださってありました。大変ありがたかったです。　孫が結構　ご飯を食べていたのと、息子達がご飯を食べそうだなと
感じられたのか　仲居さんはおひつにご飯をもってきてくださいまし

部屋へ行くまで段差や階段があるので、疲れてる時や足が不自由な方は大変かもしれません。
ただ、清掃は行き届いていて綺麗にされていて、昔ながらの旅館の落ち着いた雰囲気がとても良く落ち着きます。仲居さんも親切でした。

静かな場所

部屋はところどころ古く感じるが、ただ休んで寝る事と大浴場で温泉を楽しむには充分でした。また共用トイレは綺麗でした。旅館の方々の対応は暖かみのある対応でしたし、朝ご飯が美味しかったです。あと、部屋に置いてあった茶葉で入れたお茶が気に入りました。お茶の名前、聞いておけば良かった…。

コスパが良いホテル。

バス、トイレが無い部屋でしたが、共同トイレはきれいでしたし、温泉風呂は肌がすべすべでとてもよかっです。
夕食、朝食付きでしたが、かなり安かったので期待してませんでしたが、十分な料理でした。
気になったのは、ちよっと壁は薄いです。

朝食最高です。

この度は色々とお世話になりました。
トイレやお風呂は綺麗にリホームが進んでいて気持ち良く過ごせました。
部屋のトイレはこれから綺麗にされるのかなのか？
あと、部屋のコンセントが見当たらず冷蔵庫のコンセントを利用しました。
この辺りも直して行かれるのかと思いますが、宜しくお願い致します。
朝食は、ボリュームも美味しいさも最高です。
また利用させて頂きます。次回は夜飯もお願いしたいですね！

チェックインは15:00の予定でしたが、飛騨の里に寄りたかったので14:00にむら山に到着しました。
駐車場に車を置いていっていいか尋ねたところ、快諾していただき、割引券もくださいました。
また、貸切風呂があるので久々に家族5人でお風呂に入ることができて大満足でした。

とても快適なお宿でした。

建物自体は新しくはなかったのですが、
掃除が行き届いており小綺麗でした。
暑い日で突然の予約でしたが、部屋のクーラーが効いており入った瞬間気持ち良かった。
冷蔵庫が冷えており、コップまで冷やしてくれてあった。
トイレがとても綺麗。
家族風呂が良かった。子供が大喜びでした。
温泉が柔らかくて気持ち良かった。
風呂上がりに冷たい水が美味しかった。
宿の方が親切で気持ち良く過ごせた。
外出時間等、干渉されることなく気兼ねなく過ごせた。
などなどとても良いお宿でした。妻も子供も大満足でした。どうもありがとうございました。

First time at a ryokan, so I had no specific expectations. Traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast were excellent. Close to bus stop that’s only about 10 minutes from the train and bus stations. Shuttle service is also available. 10-15 walk from the Hida No Sato open-air museum, although it’s a fairly steep uphill walk.

A great, family run, traditional Japanese inn. The people that run it are great. Very helpful, very good atmosphere and a caring staff. My family and I really enjoyed it. Clean, comfortable and right near a nice walking trail too.

Everything you want in a Ryokan!

Charming, very well run traditional Inn with great amenities and features. Great location with valley views and easy access to old town and a short walk to the Hida Village. Laundry facilities are great. Caretaker/owner is wonderful. Definitely eat the traditional meals offered (western and Japanese options), they will be a highlight of your trip!

Absolutely awesome traditional Japanese hotel experience, the rooms are simple as expected but great views. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The traditional dinner is a must, good value for the amount of food. Not a lot of restaurants around the hotel but only approx 20-30 minute walk to city centre (or short taxi ride away).

My family stayed at this ryokan for two nights in November. We would recommend staying here for the experience of a Japanese inn and the fact that it is very authentic. We found the staff to be professional and polite. The drawback is the inn is located in an area quite a distance from the center of town and from all of the temples and shrines. If we were not a family of walkers it would have been a problem. We also reserved and had the dinners each evening which was a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience. Do not be afraid of "sleeping on the floor." It is very comfortable and we slept well! The experience is a MUST during a trip to Japan.

Traditional ryokan

Helpful lift to and from train station as this hotel is quite up the hill. Lift has to be prior arranged get a number to call and need to arrive before 5pm. Shuttle into town is 10am.
It’s a traditional hotel so futons and shoes off throughout.
The futons were very uncomfortable and I could sleep.
We also had staff walk into our room after we’d checked in and were getting changed which didn’t help with feeling relaxed.
The squat toilet smelt like a urinal you had to use a toilet in the corridor to get a western style toilet.
There were hairs on the bedding so it wasn’t really clean.
We did use the couples onsen and this was appreciated. But we were glad we were only staying one night.

The owner are very nice, the place are old but thats the one we are looking for to experience the traditional Ryokan .kids are enjoying to wear the yukata and the private onsen in the hotel. Highly recommended if you looking a affordable Ryokan place.

Nice Ryokan that offers free private on-sen.

The amenities were basic. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. I love the option of free private onsenI. I did not kNow the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to/from the train station within designated hours.
The hotel manager is super nice and can communicate in Englidh. I do wish that there is coffee.

An outstanding Ryokan experience

Murayama Ryokan is superb. Dinner and breakfast servings are not just filling it’s also healthy. The food is just delightful. Be sure to try on the Yukata for the dinner.
The tatami room floor and the hallway carpet floor are super clean.
It’s an old Ryokan, but I highly recommend staying here. I think the receptionist might be the Owner, just by the way he treated us.
We had a great experience.

Nice place

Like many ryokans, the property seems a bit older (thin walls, creaky elevator, etc.), but there was not a dingy or rundown feel like many ryokans in this price range seem to have. Everything was clean & tidy.

The service was great. Normally, the baths are separated by gender, but on one of our nights there were only two families on the property, and the owner arranged for each family to have their own bath. (It might be a bit uncomfortable for Westerners, but family bathing is a common practice in Japan.)

The place was clean and the staffs are all nice and they have two sets of onsen. The two on the second floor are for male and female separately and the one of the first floor are for couples or families who wants to enjoy taking a bath or onsen privately.

很值得一住再住的好店家

很傳統的日式風格旅館，但不代表老舊，旅館內許多的設備都是蠻新穎，飯店早餐也相當推薦，店家特製的味增屌打在老街看到的味增(個人認為)，雖然沒有獨立衛浴，但共用廁所相當乾淨(有免治)，共用澡堂也是溫泉水(會收溫泉稅)，總之就是很值得推薦的店家！

비행기 지연으로 체크인이 늦어졌는데 상냥하게 맞이하고 안내해주신 덕에 정말 기뻤어요..! 체크아웃 할 때 주변 지역에 관광 할 수 있는 곳도 알려주시고 할인쿠폰도 챙겨주셨고 무료셔틀버스도 정말 편했어요! 방이 너무 예뻐서 대만족!!!

Great spot on top of the hill, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Only thing was our room didn’t have a bathroom and have to use a public batch/shared private bath.

1. Different feel than usual hotel stay. Take off shoes at main entrance, luggage-only elevator, futons, onsen etc. Room is very spacious n quiet.
2. Free shuttle only upon arrival n departure n specific timings, earliest only 10 am. Rest of shuttle bus timings need pay 210 yen.
3. Staffs are helpful but very limited English. Do not expect concierge help in hotels to provide recommendations etc.
4. Walk from ryokan to Takayama station is about 25 mins. Night time if single lady can be intimidating as not much street lights.
5. Fory 3 nights stay in mid Dec, i had the whole onsen to myself whenever i visit evening times. It's an indoor onsen with no outdoor view, more like a public bath.
6. Took their traditional Jap breakfast abt 3000 yen per pax, food is nice.
7. Checkout time is early 10am. You can leave your luggages with them but at a charge of 200 yen per pc.
8. Unexpected 150 yen spa tax per pax, even if pax doesnt use the onsen facility but was told it's a regulation imposed by government.

Un GROS WOW!

Nous avons ADORÉ notre séjour de 3 nuits au RyōcanMurayama. Le personnel étaient merveilleux, l’accueil, la gentillesse, un gros wow! La nourriture un délice absolu! Nous avons mangé comme des rois! Tout était remplie de merveilleux attention!

L’emplacement est parfait avec navette de l’hôtel ou autobus qui passe au coin de la rue. D’un calme! J’y serai rester! Belle arrête pour se retirer de la foule!

Nous avions réservé pour 2 nuits et nous avons ajouté une 3ème nous ne voulions plus quitter mais toute bonne choses à une fin!

Nous aimerions remercie toute l’équipe du Ryōcan Murayama.

Ryokan Murayama

Accueil très chaleureux. Ryokan un peu vieillissant mais à la hauteur de nos espérances. Accès aux bains publics et à deux bains privés pour les couples. Excellent petit déjeuner.

We had a great stay. The folks who ran the Ryokan were kind and helpful. The Japanese breakfast was delish and overall we had a great experience. It’s about 20 minutes walk to downtown, but the offer a free morning shuttle and shuttle to and from the train station. We would absolutely stay again!

Kein gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis

Für ein Ryokan hat das Murayama ein eher mäßiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Zimmer war klein und eher vom Zustand enttäuschend, was die Atmosphäre des Zimmers betrifft. Ein relativ großer Safe stand im Tokonoma da wo eigentlich etwas Schönes hängen oder stehen sollte. Abendessen und Frühstück sind allerdings sehr gut. Wobei man für ein paar Stücke Orange oder in Orangensaft extra zahlen muss, wenn man das japanische Frühstück gewählt hat. Unser Eindruck: das alles sehr geschäftsmäßig organisiert ist. Ich würde es nicht unbedingt weiter empfehlen.

Lovely traditional Takayama stay

This is a lovely traditional place. It is quiet, with excellent service. Shuttle service was provided into town. The breakfast was beautifully presented. This is our second stay here.

Relax Japanese style

A lovely traditional Japanese Inn. There is some minor wear and tear, but to be honest this adds to the atmosphere. The service was excellent, as was the food. It is within easy reach of the key sites around Takayama. It's a little out of the town centre, but in a lovely quiet area (only a 5 minute walk from Hida no Sato village). We had a very relaxing time here. Our family room was very spacious and sleeping on tatami mats and futons was very comfortable. We also enjoyed a hot spring bath together - which is an excellent way to unwind. I strongly recommend this as a place to stay.

Great Ryokan on the Edge of Town

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff are extremely nice, the dinner was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, and the room itself was like nothing we had ever stayed in before. The location is a bit quiet but still not a far walk from town if you miss the last bus, and the train station is easily reached by their shuttle. We felt the distance from the main part of town added to the experience!

As stated by others, in need of some long term maintenance or refurbishing.
Dinner, about US30, outstanding experience and cuisine thst is definitely worthwhile for one night. Good value. Not many other good restaurants in vicinity.

Wonderful, wonderful stay. 10/10.

Shoutout to Murayama-san - driver, receptionist, chef, and owner of Ryokan Murayama! He personally picked us up and dropped us off at the train station every day, and cooked us lovely breakfasts and dinners during our stay there. Stellar customer service.

The ryokan itself was charming, clean, spacious, and comfortable. Access to the train station was easy with the in-house shuttle bus, and getting around by Takayama's own public bus was also a breeze with the bus stop located just down the road.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, and would happily stay again!

솔직한 이용후기

건물자체가 오래된 것을 제외하면 친절함이나 관리, 청결도면에서는 나쁘지 않았던 편.
저렴한 가격에 선택했는데 가격만큼 만족할 수 있는 여행을 하고 왔다고 생각합니다.
방은 좀 낡은 편이나, 필요한 것들은 잘 배치되어 있고 추운편도 아니었습니다.

단지 화장실이 공용으로 좀 먼 곳에 있는 점이 아쉬움.
전체적으로 무난한 여행이었습니다.
