Happy Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Its our first time taking our 1 year old on a true vacation with just us and picking this hotel made a big difference in our enjoyment.

The hotel felt like home we almost stayed an extra night.

Thank you to everyone who helped made our stay wonderful especially the ladies in the banquet hall who took time to talk and play with our little daughter.

Definitely would recommend.

思い出の旅になりました。

ホテル自体はフライが大浴場なども清潔で快適でした。
接客も細やかで感じが良く、ベビーグッズ(シャンプーやバウンサーなど)もあり、乳幼児との旅行にも適してると思いました！また宮島に滞在する機会があったら宿泊したいと思いました。

5/26（日）に一泊しました。こちらのホテルの口コミを見るとスタッフの対応がすばらしいと言うコメントが多かったのでそれを信じて予約しました。
宮島に渡るフェリーから電話をして荷物を取りに来ていただけたので、日中の宮島観光は身軽で楽しめました。

建物は新しいわけではありませんが、手を入れてキレイにされていましたし、やはり何よりスタッフの皆さんが全てにおいて親切で温かい対応をして下さいました。
「ハートフル」という言葉がピッタリだと思います！

ただ、お風呂のシャワーが時間が経ってもぬるくてここだけが残念ポイントで設備の欄を☆４つにしました。
後は満点です！

立地は少し中心地から離れますがお部屋はオーシャンビューでしたし静かで良かったです。
ロビーの外にあるハンモックもゆっくりできました。
また行く機会があればぜひまたお世話になりたいお宿でした。
スタッフの皆様お世話になりましてありがとうございましたm(__)m

元旦に一泊二日で滞在

フェリー乗り場からは離れているためシャトルバスを利用するのですが予約しなくても直ぐに対応してくれ、チェックアウト後荷物をフェリー乗り場まで届けてくれたりなど大変親切に対応してくれました。
元旦の日の一泊でしたが朝夕食もお正月らしい献立を用意してくれていました。
お風呂に露天があれば尚良いです。

静かで一人旅にやさしい

厳島神社など島の中心から少し離れているのでとても静かです。
「観光しなくては」と急かされることもなく息抜きできました。
お部屋は家族連れ向けなのですが、一人旅でも快く泊めてくださいました。
広い部屋を贅沢に独り占めできます。
大浴場（女湯）は、とても清潔で窓から見えた紅葉の残り葉に冬の訪れを感じました。
夕食は部屋食で、新鮮な海の幸を存分に堪能できます。
早朝に周囲を散歩していると、地元の方の犬のお散歩や、朝の漁に遭遇してとても親密でやさしい日常と触れ合いました。
朝食は１Fレストランです。
あさりの味噌汁やイワシ丸かじりなど旅館の純和食を楽しめます。
フロントの方をはじめ、スタッフの方々はみなさん朗らかで安心して寛げます。
送迎バスもかなり工夫されていてマイカーなしでもアクセスに不便は感じません。
季節の良いときは港とホテルまでを歩くのもいいでしょう。
適度に高低が組み合わされた道のりは鹿の溜まり場や海沿いの神社なども立ち寄りできて歩く人だけが楽しめるスポットがあります。

気軽な女子旅で利用しました

友達4人女子旅で利用させていだきました。港から車で5
分程度走ったところにあります。港を中心とすると厳島神社とは反対方向にあります。
送迎バスもあり港から連絡すれば迎えにきていだけます。ちなみに私達は車で行きました。ホテルは少し古い感じはしましたがホテルの方もとても親切でお安い金額で楽しい旅行ができました。

ホスピタリティ溢れる素敵なお宿

思い立っての一人旅でしたが、大変快適に過ごさせて頂きました。
建物自体は新しくはないのですが、どこも清掃が行き届いており、タバコや埃に過敏な私でも何の問題もなく快適に過ごせましたし、お料理もちょうど良い量で美味しかったです。フェリー発着場から少し離れたロケーションですが、お願いすればいつでも快く車で送迎して頂けるので移動の問題はなく、静かな環境なのが逆に良いところかもしれません。
また、他の方々も仰っているように、何よりスタッフの方々の温かな対応が素晴らしく、一人旅でも心から寛いで過ごすことができました。
また是非伺いたいお宿です。ありがとうございました！

チェックイン時間は18時までと聞いてましたが快くバスで迎えにきてくれ宮島の観光案内もしてくれました。
フロントの方々も親切で部屋からの景色も大変良く鹿も見えて宣伝通りという感じ。
食事も朝夕量が丁度よくて美味しかったです。
朝食前後は浜辺を散歩したりハンモックに座ってのんびり過ごしたりみんな思い思いに過ごしていました。
夜は花火もできるようですよ。
帰る時は鹿も一緒に見送ってくれました。

港から遠かったけど送迎があり不満なし。

施設自体は古いです。エアコンの効き目が今ひとつで寝苦しかったのと水の出が少し悪いかなとは思います。それよりいい印象が上回りました。スタッフの皆さんがすごく行き届いていて親切でした。話しかけやすい雰囲気もありました。外国人の観光客が圧倒的に多かったのですが英語でなんなく対応していたので外国人が多い理由がわかりました。素晴らしいです。宿泊前に食事の件で問い合わせがありアレルギー対応もしていただきました。ありがたかったです。以上のおかげで楽しい旅になりました。ありがとうございました。

夕食は、ゆっくり部屋食でした。牡蠣づくしで美味しいいただきました。また、機会があればお世話になりたいと思っています。

予約した段階からの電話対応も良く、チェックインした後もスタッフの対応はとてもよかったです。

古いほてるなのでしょうが、お風呂場も御手洗も綺麗に清掃されており気持ちよく使えました。

お料理も女性にはちょうど良いボリュームで、とても美味しかったです。

海側の部屋なのでロケーションも良く、とても良い宿泊先になりました。

また利用したいと思います。

とても気持ちの良い接客でした

従業員の方々のサービスがとてもよかったです。
みなさんとても感じがよくて、とても良い気分で滞在できました。
ホテルの施設事態の古さはありますが、良く言えば、昔の雰囲気が味わえる味のあるホテルです。
お風呂上がりに卓球をしたのがいい思い出になりました。
観光エリアから少し離れていますが、送迎していただけるので問題ありませんでした。
私たちは行きませんでしたが、夜の鳥居のライトアップの送迎もしてくださるみたいです。
また泊まりたいホテルです。

眺望が素晴らしいです！

1泊2日二食付きで夏休みに利用させて頂きました。

従業員の方は皆さん親切に対応して下さりとても気持ちの良い接客でした。

夕食は部屋食でボリュームがあり食べきれない程でした。トマトとチーズの茶碗蒸しが美味しかったです！
夕食後は売店で花火を購入しそのままホテル前の浜辺で花火をしました。バケツなどの花火セットを貸してくれ楽しむ事が出来ました。

朝食は夕食に比べると少なめの印象でした。
欲を言えばコーヒーのサービスがあると良かったかなと思いました。

ホテルからフェリーまでの送迎もあり便利、
また来たいと思うホテルになりました。

私達4人は厳島神社参拝し、宮島シーサイドホテルに入ったのですが、その日は大雨【後に西日本豪雨となった】で、手荷物を預けたい旨ホテルに連絡すると、快く取りにきてくれ、参拝後迎に来てくれホテルへ、靴がびしょびしょに濡れていたのですが、翌朝までに乾かしてくださり、助かりました。ホテルは少し古く感じたけど、食事も美味しかったし、係の方も親切で良い思い出でとなりました。また、宮島へ行く際は宮島シーサイドホテルに、御世話になろうと同伴者も言っていました。ありがとうございました。

ホテルも凄く綺麗で従業員の方々も 最高のおもてなしをして下さいました。部屋からは海が一望できて 本当に良かったです。

海の目の前に建つ旅館のようなホテル

フェリーターミナルから少し離れた場所だが、車の送迎もあり不便は感じなかった。また、海の目の前の立地のため、客室からの眺望が良かった。
いわゆる旅館と同じように、従業員のサービスがあらゆる所で行き届いていた。夕食朝食共に、料理の種類は多かったがメニューにもう少し特産品と言えるような物が入っていると良かった。大浴場は十分な広さだったが、露天風呂が無かったため密閉された印象を受けた。客室は清潔感のある気持ちの良い部屋だったが、お風呂を含む共用部は少し古さを感じた。

Everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff were incredible and very accommodating. The shuttle service was very convenient and made sure to wait for everyone. The dinner and breakfast were both amazing, it was really great getting two meals full of local foods. The view out the hotel window was fantastic, we could sit and just look outside for hours at the deer walking around the beach. It was a perfect mix of traditional Japanese hospitality with modern comfort and convenience. Our favorite hotel we stayed at during our two weeks in Japan.

Super sympa mais devraient remonter un peu le standing. Pas de bouteille d'eau offerte, papier toilette digne des serviettes de restaus, SDB un peu viellotte... On y va pour l'expérience, pour la vue et pour la gentillesse des hôtes. On ne regrette toutefois pas.

Stayed overnight whilst on Miyajima and had the Kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast included. The room was a traditional Japanese style with the futon beds made up for you after having dinner in your room. We had an ocean view room with large windows allowing you to enjoy the view. The staff were superb, friendly and very attentive. The dinner was beautiful and delicious, we were lucky to visit during oyster season, the deep fried oysters were particularly nice. A very handy shuttle bus is provided to and from the ferry terminal.

The service at Miyajima Seaside Hotel was the best we have ever experienced! We stayed in a traditional tatami room. Dinner and breakfast was included. Our beds were set up while we were at dinner. The food was fresh and amazing. The attention to detail was impeccable. The staff were so helpful. Highly recommend at least one night here!!

Very rewarding experience

This stay was uniquely amazing . Stayed for one night yet enjoyed thoroughly the amenities of the hotel . Every single staff member was extremely nice and it was easy to communicate as most of them spoke very fluent english.
There is a shuttle bus that goes back and forth from the hotel to the port constantly which allows you to explore the island without worrying about transportation back to the hotel.

Keep in mind this hotel will serve dinner and breakfast , so don’t book any dinner/breakfast reservations as this will positively surprise and satisfy you.

Wifi works great.
Check in and out times are strictly at 3 pm and 10 am.

At comfort I did reduce the star as the comforters are not as comfortable. I did wake up a bit sore , but I understand it is part of the experience .

Overall , great experience which I look forward to repeating.

On our trip to Japan we wanted to experience a Ryokan. The Miyajima Seaside Hotel meshed perfectly with our desire to visit Miyajima. The service was excellent. The view of the water from our room was picturesque. Being serviced dinner in our room was a first for us and having a traditional Japanese ryokan dinner and breakfast was is something we will not forget.

Imagine you’ve picked up a yellowed copy of National Geographic from 1972. You see an article titled “Serenity by the Sea: Discovering the Timeless Charm of a Seaside Ryokan in Miyajima”. The photos show a traditional hotel with the fashionable colours of the 70s: brown, beige and yellow. That’s what the hotel looks like even today, with almost no updates: including to the furniture and bathroom facilities.

I feel a little guilty criticizing the place, since, as other reviewers have said, the staff try hard. The shuttle service was good. The view was okay at sunrise. Also, the other guests (almost all non-Japanese) looked happy with their yukatas and the traditional food.

However, based on the price and marketing (which almost makes it sound like a resort), I expected the standards to be higher. As others have said, the bath facilities are really mediocre and outdated. The futon was nothing like the comfortable ones at other ryokans. The food would be impressive for your first meal in Japan, but not for your 10th. Also, the room stank. It should be aired out between visits, at least.

So if you want to do a little time travel, come here, but don’t expect too much. I’m only posting this because if you only look at the most recent reviews, you may get an inaccurate image of this place. Look at the one and two star reviews as well: things haven’t improved since then. This was our only poor experience in a Japanese hotel, and it was way too expensive for what it offered.

Traditional property, friendly and welcoming. We felt like we had a true Japanese experience. Set meals included and vegetarian options were provided when requested in advance. Free shuttle provided from the ferry port. Towels, flip flops and beach mats available for the small beach infront of the hotel. Only minus point was no bar.

This is a beautiful hotel experience in Ryokan style. The kaiseke meal that is served is a unique experience and one we will treasure. The room is designed beautifully and all of the hotel staff were lovely. It is a great hotel for a complete break during a tour of Japan. Miyajima island is very beautiful and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. The ferry service with luggage is also very helpful.

Very nice traditional hotel in Miyajima. We liked the overall experience and being able to stay on the island overnight. It is a bit isolated and the shuttle to the ferry and the main tourist area runs every 30mn. Quality of Wi-Fi was not great. The rooms could ask gain from being renovated.

Great place, service and staff! Had japanese style room and it was awesome. The hotel has a shuttle bus that goes to the ferry station which is very convinient and you can travel there for the night walk as well. A really great place to experience the japanese hospitality, food an scenery😊

We wanted to stay at a ryokan during our Japan trip and Miyajima Seaside hotel gave us that experience without breaking the bank. They served us dinner in our room which was very special and laid out the futons for us while we were out. They also had breakfast, which was very helpful for us to start the day. They had an espresso machine in the lobby and there were toys there for kids to play with. Their shuttle service was amazing and we were able to explore without our luggage. Staff were very efficient and considerate.

At our arrival the main room with the view was set up to have a tea. The dinner was delicious with an incredibly attentive service. It is walkable (20 min) but not with luggage. The people at the hotel will come to pick you up and it is very easy to contact them by simply talking to the information person at the ferry.

Hotel antiguo pero bien conservado , zona alejada del centro delante del mar y eso lo
hacía muy tranquilo. Personal amabilísimo y muy pendiente de lo que necesitábamos . Habitación tradicional , así como la cena y el desayuno . Nos gustó muchísimo la experiencia . Totalmente recomendable si quieres salir de la zona turística de la isla . Además te trasladan cuantas veces desees al puerto y zonas turísticas.

Excellent staff and service. Food was delicious.

Facilities were as expected at this price point.

It was great that they provided transport to and from the pier.

WiFi was a little weak and unreliable.

Main issue we faced were insects in the bathroom when we first checked in. Had a kill 10 of them and a couple more showed up later.

Great Japanese style hotel (ryokan)

They picked up our luggage at the ferry port. That allowed us to do some sight seeing before the check-in. When we were ready to go to the hotel, the tourist information center helped to call the shuttle again. The place was absolutely clean. Our room was spacious with a view. Dinner and breakfast service was awesome. Dinner was served in the room by a very nice lady who explained all the courses in the multi-course menu before leaving us to enjoy the meal and returned just in time with the dessert. We also enjoyed the onsen. It was next to a small garden. We were given yukatas on arrival. Overall a very relaxing and memorable experience.

We stayed a night at this lovely hotel during our Japan vacation. We felt so welcomed and well cared for at this Miyajima Seaside.

The staff went above and beyond to take care of us and answer any questions. The hospitality was some of the best I’ve ever experienced.

Other features we loved: the shuttle service was perfect. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for it. The onsen was terrific and exactly what we needed after a long day. Dinner and breakfast were a fun adventure and very immersive.

We loved our stay at Miyajima Seaside Resort.

Great property. Loved that the shuttle picked us up from the ferry and back. Breakfeast and dinner was delicious and my husband and I loved the view from our room. There were so many deer around the property !

Convenient shuttle for getting from the ferry to the hotel or simply sending luggage ahead to the hotel. Also came with a free dinner at the hotel which was pretty awesome. Hotel staff was very accommodating!

Valued hotel, shuttle bus was provided to travel between ferry and hotel, nice dinner and breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff and food! It was a romantic getaway on Miyajima. Very much enjoyed wearing the traditional Yukata.

Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Übernachtungen in diesem Ryokan! Ja, es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und ihm würde eine kleine Renovierung gut tun, allerdings ist das Essen und vor allem der Service excellent! Top Organisation! Da merkt man die Liebe ins Detail! Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
