Great room and awesome staff. They had English-speaking staff which was helpful. The use of an app and a room code was super convenient!

The location is far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to get to if you wanted to be a part of it. The room and building were great and I really loved my stay, however, the room doors are battery-operated and mine wouldn’t work on the last night of my stay. I arrived after a long day trip and there was no one at the front desk to help me get in and the emergency number that we were told to contact didn’t work. It was stressful and I was ready to set up camp in the lobby until a worker showed up in the morning. Luckily I kept researching and found another number on the hotel app to call and someone came to help quickly. This resource should be corrected immediately as the emergency information posted is unclear and difficult to follow, especially for foreign travelers. If this didn’t happen, my stay would have been amazing but instead, I left a bit stressed and uneasy.

Great location. 5 minutes walk to metro. 10 minutes walk to Shinsaibashi street shopping or Metro station through Crystal Underground shopping street. Quiet neighbour hood but with convenience store close by. Staff is nice. We have 3 person room with nice comfy beds. The washroom is very small like in a cruise ship but clean. I like to have small fridge. I will recommend and go back again. Great value.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff, multiple subway stations are reachable per foot (10-15 minutes). All amenities are there: soap, shampoo, towels etc. Elevator is available.

Good room. Good area. The bathroom amenities could be improved like fresh shower curtains. The shower curtains were really old, smelly and needed replacement.
Overall property was good.

要真正行到購物點，其實要行20分鐘左右，吾算近。
附近比較僻靜，但夜晚又會聽到車聲！

是一個公寓型的房間，地點鬧中取靜很喜歡，櫃檯人員態度很親切，能預備給客人筷子，真的是太貼心了！
只是住宿第三天早上會有房間清潔工作，那天需要早點出門，有點困擾，其他房間設備應有盡有，如果習慣住民宿的旅人，這邊雖然房間簡易，但不缺很多體貼的設備：浴缸、小夜燈，都是我很喜歡的。

Overall, the stay was good. The location is not too far from the main areas. The room could have been cleaner; the carpet wasn't very clean or vacuumed. It is a small space, good for one person.

We enjoyed our stay here. We wish the one bed was as comfy as the other but we have zero complaints. Its close to a couple train lines, 7eleven, lawsons and not far from shopping mall.

It was a nice stay at WAYFARER Matsu. However, the bathroom is tight and one step above the floor. If the bathroom door open to the wall side, it will make walking in and out of the bathroom easier.

Convenient location. The front desk staff is not there in the morning or past 10pm, so if you need anything like towels outside of these hours, it may be difficult to get. They also don’t offer room cleaning when we stayed there for 3-4 nights. The bathrooms are soooo tiny, but that may be common in Japan.

Check in was easy. Very clean and nicely sized room. The bathroom was incredibly small, which is the only downfall for this hotel.
The hotel was within a walkable distance to public transportation. Food options nearby, and a quick 3 minute walk to a Lawson convenience store.

Super recomendo. Quarto amplo, cama confortavel, sem barulho externo, tudo muito limpo. Você resolve check in e out pelo app. Só o banheiro que é extremamente pequeno, principalmente o chuveiro. Fica do lado de uma estação de metro.

It’s a self-serve place basically. We never met anyone, check-in was online, we got the access to the room by email and we had no room cleaning for the 3 nights we stayed there. You can get any towels or extra toiletries from a shelf at the “lobby”. The room was ok in size but the pillows were very uncomfortable. Small bathroom but that’s how they all are in Japan.

Easy information

Check in is 3 pm, not 2 pm as stated.
On the confirmation letter, it needs to state the nearest metro station, which is Matsuyamachi.
On arrival, I asked staff at Kansai train station and was informed to alight at Nagahoribashi. I was informed by visitors at Wayfarer about Matsuyamachi.
Everything else went very well, Thank You.

Everything was great except for the loud jackhammer noise outside during the day. I know that really isn’t the fault of the hotel, but I probably would have chosen another spot if I had known about it beforehand.

Very good hotel for the price. We had 3 separate beds for 3 people which was nice. The location was also quite good, since there was a train station very close by.

I would give this a 4.5 if I could, simply because the bathroom was very small and also we had to wait 10 minutes after check in time for cleaning to finish, but those were small things.

Stayed three nights and there were a few bumps along the way.
First, not sure if it was the hotel or Expedia but the email for check-in instructions was never received. I did figure out that there is an app for check-in, which was important as I was arriving close to reception closing time. Easy app to use, and they release your door code to you at 3PM so you have it available when you get there. The app however says check-in, skip reception and go straight to your room. Do not skip reception! Went out for a bit after dropping off bags and got back to the room and they had wiped out the check-in. Called the emergency number and they completed the check-in steps that reception would have done. Nothing more frustrating than to realize you can’t get in your room where all of your belongings are!
Second, I arrived just before 10PM and there was a sign in reception that said it was open until 11. Well there was no one there so wouldn’t have been able to complete those steps.
Third, as recent reviews have said - the room needs a deep clean. Just had an overall feeling of ‘not clean’.
Fourth - yes the bathrooms are tiny! But that at least was known.

比较方便的酒店

比较新的酒店。离心斋桥不远。入住会使用平板输入信息，房间是密码锁，需要通过电子邮箱接收。房间不大但相比其他酒店利用的很好。采光很好，这次的房间有两个窗户。房间的备品在这价位使用的还不错。隔音很好，旁边是高架路，关上窗户了也听不到什么声音。酒店没有提供除味的喷雾，一些设施是在一楼共用的。

The hotel was great and our room was quite spacious with 2 beds. But I would have happily given up some of the living area space for a slightly bigger bathroom. Very very small and compact bathroom... not horrible but my gosh! So tiny! I knew this going in from the other reviews so was not totally surprised.
One thing I thought was unusual for Japanese hotel was that the carpet was not dirty but heavily stained. The hotel provided slippers for us to wear which was great. A little tiny disappointed that when the room was cleaned on day 3 of our 4 night stay our cups were not washed or changed. Honestly that was the worst of it we were very happy and comfortable in the room.

簡單乾淨的旅店

單人房間配置簡單乾淨，但是浴室很小，位置距離地鐵超商不遠，自助check out、寄放行李很方便。
隔音不好，外面的飆車族跟救護車聲音在晚上很明顯，不易入睡的人可能會介意。
