リノベーションされた建物は、とてもきれいでセンスも良く、スタッフの対応も気持ち良く、大満足でした。2日目の朝はゆったり温泉と足湯を楽しみました。どうもありがとうございました。

こじんまりとした居心地のいい宿です。お部屋も清潔で、温泉もとても綺麗です。全体的にセンスがよく、快適な滞在ができました。またスタッフの方もとても丁寧に対応してくださって好感がもてました。大平台の駅まで近いですが、道を渡る時にやや車が多く渡るタイミングを待たないといけないところはネックですが大きな問題ではないと思います。

紅葉シーズンに合わせて1泊2日で家族利用させていただきました。
温泉に加えて足湯もあり、家族でのんびりしながら時間を過ごすことができ満足でした。
施設内もキレイで快適に滞在することが出来ました。

Upon arrival, one staff member was not very welcoming. Since we arrived early, our intention was to leave our bags and explore the area, but he did not explain the no-shoes policy and came across as rude, which was a bit uncomfortable.

That said, during check-in, the young lady who assisted us was extremely polite and took the time to clearly explain everything. Her professionalism made a great impression.

Overall, the hotel is beautiful, and aside from the initial interaction, we had a pleasant experience.

If you want something boutique and intimate away from the usual Hakone tourist crowds, this is the place! The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with amazing views. While there was no shower in our room, we basically had the small onsen areas to ourselves (men & women separate but fully nude only) or only a few other people. It's peaceful and has a homey feel with unique decor touches that we loved. From the bookshelves and records in the chill lounge area to in-room tea set with tasty green tea, it's a perfect place if you don't want the usual "formal hotel" vibe.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, slippers were provided upon entry into lobby so no outside shoes throughout the hotel. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, providing all information about the amenities during check-in. They also provided a flashlight when I went out at night, which I thought was a very nice personal touch.

Staff were very kind and informative. At check in, they sat me down & explained everything about the hotel. My room had the most incredible view of Hakone. The hotel was very clean. The bath house was very nice. There was also a neat little lounge room with records and such as well as a foot bath on the first floor. I did not take advantage of these things during my stay but still very nice features! The free breakfast was decent, mostly bread items. I don’t really have any complaints.

Ryokan was very unique for a first timer like me. Staff were very polite and helpful, and could speak good English which was a big help! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in a Ryokan for the first time.

Really nice hotel with friendly staff. Japanese style room with beautiful views of the mountains. Had 2 onsens and a foot bath, with lounge areas. Had breakfast and bought dinner nearby.

Excellent séjour.

Excellent séjour dans l’établissement.
Malgré la barrière de la langue, l’équipe a toujours été très serviable et gentille.

L’hôtel est situé à quelques minutes dans une rue de montagne un peu étroite. Elle est située avec des acces en train depuis Hakone Yamamoto et en bus. Je vous recommande de prendre le Hakone Free Pass pour circuler librement.

Le petit déjeuner est assez léger mais inclus. Pour ma part j’ai prévu des repas le soir et le matin dans les Konbini.

Les onsen sont très agréables et propres.

À cause de fortes pluies, le gérant a eu l’amabilité de m’amener en voiture à la station de bus pour rejoindre la gare de Odawara. Je le remercie.

Le confort de la chambre est correct, il n’y a pas de douche donc utilisation obligatoire du bain public pour se laver. Aucun problème de mon côté.


Seul changement que je suggère ce serait d’avoir un Chromecast dans les chambres pour pouvoir diffuser du contenu (film) depuis son téléphone.

If you're looking to get away to quiet serenity then this is a lovely place. It is removed from easy access to activities in the area, other than the outdoor sculpture park, which is EXTREMELY worth a visit, but it was a beautiful location to spend a peaceful break in the midst of the big cities on our itinerary.

Our stay at Hakone Suisen was wonderful. The hospitality and warmth of the staff made us feel genuinely cared for. They have a well-managed indoor and outdoor onsen. Their breakfast service is also lovely. At checkout, a kind staff member even drove our luggage to the train station, going above and beyond. We would love to return.

Wonderful hotel tucked away with gorgeous views! Close walk to bus stop and the train, you’ll just have to prepare to walk uphill a lot lol the onsen is amazing, we used the outdoor one every night. There aren’t many people so both hubby and I had the onsen to ourselves each time! It’s such a peaceful place, it’s where we ended our Japan trip. Just know that restaurants and shops close early (like 5-7pm!) and the busses also stop around 10 so eat early. We got the executive suite, so so worth it I promise!! Oh and we absolutely loved the provided yukatas, wish we could buy them!

Petit hôtel typiquement japonais. Un peu difficile de s’y rendre car on doit marcher 5 minutes sur le bord de la route mais une fois rendu, on n’est pas déçu. Bains thermiques japonais intérieurs et extérieurs vraiment plaisant. Bon petit déjeuner composé de bonnes pâtisseries, soupe, jus, café, thé. Expérience vraiment enrichissante de dormir dans un ryokan. Complément parfait de notre séjour incroyable à Hakone.

This feels like a true retreat in the middle of a busy trip. The onsen experience is relaxing and the staff is friendly. We stayed in a traditional Japanese style room and it was a calm and serene environment with a beautiful view of the mountains.

Absolutely loved our stay. They were so accommodating with our 12 month old and even had a snack bag, a Yokuta, and baby bath for him. Best part of our trip so far. So beautiful.

Wonderful hotel!!! Very clean and calm. Nice traditional rooms. 3 Minute walk to the next bus station. The only downside is that you can’t eat dinner there and their breakfast is very small, so plan on eating before returning to the hotel. Besides that a 10/10, also the location is a dream.

It was very clean and friendly staff but because of location and no dinner service you are limited to what you can eat during your stay. Recommend bringing your own dinner from the market. Overall amazing experience, would have been better if it were closer to restaurants or had dining service.

Peaceful stay

As soon as we walked into the door we were greeted by the staff. Everyone was amazing. The view from our room and from the foot bath was absolutely stunning. The kids enjoyed the play area in the lobby lounge. We can’t wait to go back!

I really appreciate the staff's help with my special requests, professionalism and friendliness. The cherry blossom tree above at least the men's part of the outdoor bath was a nice touch, as was the free breakfast. The hotel facilities look quite new too. My nitpick is that there were no nearby restaurants open for dinner at the time of my trip, so I ate at other places before returning here.
