リーズナブルな料金で良かったです。
ロケーションは奈良公園の前で最高の場所でした。
鹿が当たり前にホテルの前にいました。
建物が古い様で部屋のドア開閉の際に風圧で窓ガラスが響いてしまうのが気になりました。

良く眠れるホテルです。

とても良いロケーション。
近鉄奈良駅から徒歩30分で別世界が広がっています。
まるで自宅から遠く旅をしてきたような静かな山の中で過ごす時間は、良い意味で非日常的。
TVが無いのも好ましい。
古い古い建物ですが、ベッドは清潔で、不快感はありません。
天井や壁の一部は完璧な状態では
ありませんが、虫食いの葉が描かれた日本画のような印象を受けます。
仕事のメールや電話がかかってこなければ、のんびりくつろぐ事ができるでしょう。
よく眠れるホテルです。

共有キッチンがあります。
近所で食材が入手出来ませんが、車で来る人なら問題ないでしょう。

お洗濯は乾燥機もありますし、車も停めれたので助かりました。何より春日大社も近く、二月堂も近いし鹿さんだらけで楽しかったです。またお伺いします! 有難うございました。

窓の下に鹿がやってきます。

いつも快適に眠れる宿なのですが、今回泊まった部屋は、一番端にあったせいか室外機？の音が、ずっとしていて頭痛で目覚めてしまいました。
広いので、この部屋にしてくれたのかもしれませんし、古い建物なので仕方ないと思います。室外機の音以外は満足な滞在でした。

古い建物を改造しているが、部屋は清潔感があり、共用のバス・トイレもきれいにしてあって、気持ちよかったです。共用キッチンに大きな冷蔵庫があり、ビールをしっかり買い置き出来て、よかったです。

奈良公園の一部になれます。

若草山の麓、日の暮れや早朝の奈良公園を感じる事ができる旅の原点に帰れる宿です。部屋は清潔かつシンプル。鹿の鳴き声と虫の声、窓の外には鹿。まわりには何もないので駅前で買い物がベストですが宿にもカップラーメンや宅配ピザあり。ドアを開ける時に窓がガタ着いたら少し漏れる声はパリのアパルトマンを思い出し、それもまた風情かなと。行く時は場所がわからにくかったけど着いてみれば春日大社からすぐ近くで早朝の空気はオーラさえ感じました。スタッフの方からの事前のメールでマップを送ってもらっても到着には苦労しましたが何でもすぐに回答してくれてとても親切です。シンプルな旅を楽しむ方にオススメです。

夜は部屋から外の鹿が見れて、朝は鹿が玄関前にいたりするから、チェックアウトの時にも戯れられる。

到着するまでに どっかサインがあれば もっと良いと思いま〜す。

日が暮れてから到着したので、宿の近くに看板などがあれば良かったと思いました。近くに目立つ建物があったので スマホとか持ってないとそっちに行ってたかも…。せめて近くの分岐道に ゲストハウスこっちよ〜 とあれば良かったです。

東大寺のお水取りを見るには最適な宿

今回は東大寺二月堂のお水取りにお参りするために泊まりました。二月堂まで歩いて５分ほどの立地です。3月12日のお水取りの日は、すべての行法が終わるのは午前4時過ぎ。そんな朝方でもこの宿なら安心して帰って来れました。

若草山山麓の若い外国人向けの寮

外国人向けの寮と言ったところ。古い旅館を改造したもので、共同のシャワーとトイレで二段のベッドがある。英語のできるスタッフも居て親切であった。自由に使えるパソコンとコーヒーが無料なロビーがあり、若い人が交流をしていた。若草山の山麓奈良公園の中にあり、ホテルの近くに鹿が来ていた。アクセスはバスで奈良駅行きのバスの停留所は歩いて5分の春日神社の駐車場にある。

This is 100% the best place to stay at of you want to have the most authentic Nara Deer experience. When my partner and I were arriving late to check in the clerk stayed an extra 30 min waiting for us. She is a hero!🙏 The place is 30 min from the downtown area so do order or buy food for dinner as you wont find anything nearby, but its 100% worth it because of the location and the staff! Thank you so much for having us and being great hosts!

Super friendly staff, in a magical place in the deer park surrounded by nature, some great little shops, shrines, and animals. Nara was the absolute highlight of my trip to Japan and this Inn was a dream to stay at. We loved our time here.

This lodging was perfect for visiting the park. Facility was clean, quiet, our room was spacious, & the staff very friendly. They let us know about evening lantern event, and breakfast available for purchase at 9am in a cafe near by. Location in the park is convienent for some travelers without transportation visiting the park. It was a short hike from the bus stop at the museum. Could use a sign at the bottom of hill on bus route for lodging location. Of the park workers we asked, no one seemed to know where "The Deer Park Inn" was located. We followed the walking route on google maps to find it from the museum. As a hostel our room had western style bunk beds, which were nice. Property is not wheelchair accessible. They do provide this information on thier website, but take note it is located on a hill & there are many stairs.

Staff were so sweet and helpful here. It is so convenient since everything in the park closes early as well as transportation, so if you are staying to see the deer it is a perfect place to do so.

Silent and terrible night in The hostel

從未住過一間酒店冇電視機、不但房間沒有電視，連大廳都冇電視、從未住過酒店廁所板是凍冰冰的 ，連公廁洗手間廁所板都是暖笠笠，洗手盆熱水位貼了一張out of order即係沒有熱水，酒店位置已10分偏僻，五點後天已黑晒所有店舖已關門 寂靜得人驚 進入了一間寂靜無聲的酒店 有的只是進入房內地板凹凸不平只發出唧唧的聲音 ，然後就感覺到耳鳴很不舒服的感覺 ，第一天晚上便很想離開，但是沒法走因為外面全是黑鼆鼆，很難受的兩天晚上，唯獨是最好就是有個大廚房，但可惜廚房地面凹陷，我已踩中幾次地雷，差點跌倒，這次旅程感受太差

Other than the area around the inn having very few restaurants that all close around 4-5 pm (which is to be expected because it's in the park) which led us to walk a good while to get groceries, we had a very nice stay and even found that to accommodate for the lack of stores nearby, there are some instant ramens and other food to purchase in the common area for dinner past five pm. Thank you for hosting us!

Great location deep inside of Nara Park.

First off: the listing says laundry facilities are available, but they are not (yet). This is important because the nearest laundromat is 30 minutes away.

Otherwise, it's a wonderful place to stay overnight in Nara. We spent 3 nights enjoying the park. Deer right outside every morning. 2 great restaurants right down the stairs, but everything nearby closes around 16:00. Drink machines abound, but plan to stock up at the 7-11 at the park entrance (15 minutes) to cook dinner or have snacks at the Inn. They offer a small selection of instant ramen and such you can purchase for 200 yen in the kitchen if you forget and are hungry. Very kind staff. Just keep in mind you won't have access to laundry or convenient store hours.

Felt very welcome and also thankful to the staff who recommended that we get food before everything closed in the area. They sent emails prior, to warn us which was great. The hotel is a little old but clean. I had a very simple room with a double bed and AC unit, shared bathroom and shower. They let us store our luggage a few hours in the morning after check out. Overall loved how close it was to the temples. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is located right by Wakakusayama, so quiet, deer sitting in front of hotel, super nice morning walk area! Owner was friendly, gave us good information. You can cook your own food at kitchen, so you can stay long. room was just like own bedroom, very comfortable.
The bathrooms are not in your room, but very clean!
My daughter loved here, so we will go back again!!

Nel parco di Nara

L’hotel è immerso nel parco, la stanza è spaziosa e i bagni in comune molto puliti. La ragazza alla reception è gentilissima!
Vi manderanno una mail prima del vostro soggiorno con una serie di informazioni che a me avevano messo un po’ in allarme (location isolata, pericoloso arrivare la sera, non c’e niente intorno...) ignoratela allegramente e godetevi il soggiorno, l’unica cosa vera è che ci vogliono 45minuti a piedi dalla stazione JR e se avete valigie non è facilissimo, in tale caso consiglio l’autobus!

Close to nature

The motel is located inside the deer park that is close encounter to the deer. Not suitable for family with young children due to the motel condition. Share toilet and shower room only two and three respectively. The hotel should install hot and cold water dispenser direct from drinking water supply instead of using boiling thermo flash. Run out of water during peak hour and had to wait. Check out time too early.

Friendly staff. Excellent location. Not difficult to get taxi to and from train station. Arrived late evening and didn't eat previously. Staff helped us order some takeout; quality of food was excellent and price was cheap. Not as inconvenient as I thought. Would stay again!

Super friendly staff and huge room for Japan standards. Very chill vibe as well in the whole place. It reminds me of a huge wood cabin. The showers and bathrooms are shared but it wasn't an issue despite being fully booked. It's a bit far from the metro but right in the center of the park, which is great to see the night lights etc..

So much fun to wake up in the park!

It's clear this hostel is still working on being renovated and improved; in the two nights I was there they were getting deliveries to stock the kitchen with and during the day were working on cleaning and improving the hostel. It was a very nice room, very clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. I've already told friends they should stay there!

Fabulous, friendly, and great location

We booked one night here initially and ended up staying for one extra, partly due to bad weather the morning after the first night, but also due to the friendly atmosphere, good price and excellent location. We arrived around 7pm after walking from the JR station in town (30 mins) to find that unfortunately the local cafes had shut (we should have checked beforehand but didn't) however the staff were happy to place a take-out order for us from one of the menus they had in the communal area. [If you don't speak or read much Japanese and don't already have it-download google translate and the image translate attachment-it was so handy for translating menus!]
The inn was in a great location for early morning deer spotting/feeding and only a short walk from most shrines. There are also buses going from just outside during the daytime which loop from the station up to the inn for only 100¥ (Around 65p/$1) Amenities, though shared, were very clean and pleasant. There was free green tea and coffee in the kitchen area, cooking facilities, and a small 'shop' for pasta, sauces, noodle pots and beers. The sitting and dining area was a nice size with soft jazz playing in the background, and overall the place just had a nice feel to it. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to sight-see in Nara.

사슴공원의 자연을 즐길 수 있는 공원 내부의 숙소

시설은 굉장히 깔끔하고 직원도 친절함. 샤워부스는 4개이고 아침 7시 부터 저녁 11시 까지 사용가능함. 비대 좌변기는 2개이고 깔끔함. 큰 목욕타월이 하나 씩 구비되어 있음. 헤어 드라이기 두 개 비치되어 있음. 직원이 주변에 볼 만한 관광지를 지도를 주면서 자세히 알려줌. 영어나 일어가 된다면 가고 싶은 곳을 쉽게 찾을 수 있을 것임. 직원에게 부탁하면 숙소에서 피자를 시켜먹을 수 있음.(4명이서 M사이즈로 두 판 시켜서 먹었는데 M사이즈와 L사이즈가 크기 차이가 많이 나는 듯. M사이즈가 우리나라 작은 사이즈 정도 되고 L이 큰 사이즈 인 듯. 둘의 가격 차이는 많이 남.) 녹차나 홍차 같은 건 무료로 마실 수 있고, 인스턴트 식품도 구비되어 있는데 돈을 내고 사 먹어야 함. 주변에 편의점이 없어서 그런듯. 숙소가 사슴공원 안에 있어서 나오자마자 사슴을 만날 수 있음. 사슴공원 안쪽에 위치하고 있어 도심의 게스트 하우스보다 주변의 편의성은 좋지 않지만 나라 사슴공원의 자연을 즐기고 싶다면 추천. 1박만 했지만 2박, 3박을 했어도 괜찮았을 숙소. 직원분이 정말 친절함.

<술을 좋아하시는 분이라면 직원분이 추천해주신 일본술을 시음할 수 있는 매장이 가볼 만 함.>

Nice and neat place with incredible staffs

I booked this hotel for my parents' trip in Japan for 1 night. Both of them speak little English and Japanese.While they told me, the staff was extremely patient and helped them find out all the things they want. The hotel was small but cozy. :)

전반적으로 저렴한 가격과 좋은 입지조건에 만족하지만 공용으로 사용하는 화장실의 부족과 나무로 이루어진 바닥에서 발생하는 소음은 조금 불편함.
공용공간 청소및 관리에 조금 더 신경쓴다면 최고로 좋아질수 있을 것이다

Relaxing retreat

This is a lovely inn- a perfect retreat from the city. It has a very serene atmosphere and comfortable minimalist design that makes it easy to appreciate the beautiful nature around you. The staff are incredibly welcoming and provided plenty of advice on the best places to visit, as well as tips on making transit easy. The room was very clean. Not much furniture is provided, but this is a part of the zen-like design of the space and feels refreshing with so much nature around you. The view was beautiful and you can see the deer outside. This is a guesthouse, so amenities are shared, but everything is very well kept. We got a bit lost on the way there-- you will want to take the bus or a taxi as far as you can and make sure to print and bring with you the very detailed instructions that the staff will kindly send you. I wish we could have stayed more than one night- it was beautifully relaxing.

Posto incantevole!

Immerso nel Parco di Nara, è praticamente circondato dai famosi cervi che - sempre tenendo a mente che si tratta di animali selvatici - sono mansueti e davvero carinissimi!
La struttura è molto bella, dotata di una calda e confortevole sala comune dove cenare, bere un the o un caffè (gratis per gli ospiti) o semplicemente rilassarsi leggendo un libro.
Le camere sono ampie, i bagni pur essendo condivisi sono davvero puliti.
Il personale è molto cortese, è possibile lasciar loro i bagagli sia prima del check-in che dopo il check-out.
E' davvero un luogo dove rilassarsi, mi è piaciuto tantissimo!

Amazing staff and location!

We loved our stay here! Expect fairly basic but clean rooms with a communal lounge, kitchen and bathrooms in the most stunning location and you won't be disappointed! The staff were delightful. Just be warned it's nearly impossible to get food after 5pm when we were there in autumn as everything closes so make sure you buy in advance. Otherwise it's magical. Deer everywhere, beautiful temples and scenery.

A good stay close to nature

Had enjoyed my stay at Deer Park Inn. What I like most is that it is close to wakakusayama and of course the park itself where you can take a nice walk. The inn itself has all the necessary facility. I would say it is a good value for money.

It is great for the money if you want to be inside the park. Get up morning and walk around as you own the park...it is great experience without the crowds. I was able to visit one of the temple late and with the lights on it was beautiful!

Auberge de jeunesse au milieu du Parc publique de Nara, emplacement très intéressant pour visiter cette ville. Le personnel a été sympathique et accueillant ; ils nous ont trouvé une place de parc à JPY 10'000/jour à côté de l'auberge.

Bien si vous souhaitez dormir dans le parc

Si vous souhaitez dormir dans le parc et que les auberges vous conviennent alors foncez !
Accueil au top, idéalement situé dans le park.
Il faut un peu marcher depuis l'arrêt de bus mais l'auberge envoie un mail qui décrit précisément comment se rendre dans les locaux.
L'espace commun et son coin cuisine sont vraiment appréciables. Un ordinateur avec internet est disponible gratuitement mais dans tous les cas il y'a le Wi-fi.
Côté confort c'est une auberge donc pas vouée à être de grand luxe, la literie est correcte, en revanche l'isolation sonore est quasi-nulle. Douche et WC communs mais bien entretenus et propres.

Very Close to Deer Park

This was my first hostel experience!! A very short taxi ride from Nara station can get you here. Recommend renting a bike from this hotel to get around. The shared restroom area was very clean and it is very quiet at night. I would definitely come back here next time.

괜찮은 곳이에요

숙소가 굉장히 깔끔하고 쾌적합니다. 침대도 푹신하고 넓어서 편안히 쉬다 갈 수 있었어요. 사슴공원 안에 위치해 있어서 밤 또는 아침에 공원 산책이 가능해서 좋습니다. 직원분이 영어를 굉장히 잘하세요~ 그리고 찾기 어렵다는 글을 많이 봐서 걱정 많았었는데 나라역 관광안내소 가시면 여기 숙소 위치에 대해 상세히 설명 들으실 수 있어요. 걸어서 가는건 비추합니다 버스타면 아주 금방이에요!

Reletively cheap on holidays. Staff speaks english

We pay 70 US for friday night and saturday night(2 people). We can find cheaper hotel on holidays. It's a clean hotel with dear outside your window. Staff is helpful but the air conditioner is real crap (no air coditioner in the hall way). When it cool down to the temp you design, it should rest and work again when the temp got higher. Sometiomes, it never work again. I'll have to deal with it in midnight and sometimes the conditioner just won't respond.

Knus hostel tussen de hertjes

Heel vriendelijk personeel en een gezellige common room. Helaas rook het op onze kamer enorm naar vocht. weer niet hoe dat op de andere kamers was.

Near to the nature

The hostel is a bit far from the city center, but there is a bus to go from there. The deer park is just at the doorway of the hostel, you can enjoy a nice spirtual walk around the hills and temples in early morning. Staff very friendly and helpful to look after your bags even you have checked out.

Right where you want to be in Nara.

Friendly and accommodating staff. It is a very nice hostel. The floor makes noise which could be disturbing to someone with light sleep. Otherwise, i would definitely recommend it to backpackers.

出門就能看到鹿子心情十分的好!!

背包客可坐巴士到春日大社本殿....巴士站的位置就在停車場的一角...非常不顯眼....但這巴士站離酒店只有幾分鐘的路程....一出門口就可以看到鹿子的感覺彷如住在大自然中.....

호텔스닷컴에 전화할뻔‥

숙소 자체는 찾기 힘든거빼면 만족스럽지만‥(전철역에서 버스타세요!! 저희 걸어가다 싸우고ㅜ 입장시간 끝나서 사슴밖에 못봄ㅠ.) 체크인할때 지불다됐다며 영수증을 받았는데 5780엔‥ 저는 7만원 가까이내고 예약했는데‥ 호텔스닷컴에서 어떠한 수수료도 취하지 않는다더니 어떻게 된거죠.? 이거땜에 내내 찜찜하고 불쾌했어요

Loved it so much we are going back!

Mw and my husband strayed in one of the private rooms for two persons (one night only) and loved it! It's a "spartan" room with just two beds and a chair. But in Nara park that's really all you need, it's not like you are going to spend a lit of time on your room. The shared showers and toilets were clean, the common room was nice, and no problems with the Wi-Fi. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful! Got some tips on where to eat and when to go where.

Good to know: it is a bit of and quite a walk to the center. We did walk however and had no issues, but plan accordingly. There are some buses that stop close by.

All in all I would recommend to all visiting Nara! We are actually Hong back for a three night stay in a week ;)
