MIMARU SUITES 京都CENTRAL

We had a very comfortable 5 nights in a two bedroom suite. The suite was large, very clean and equipped with good quality furniture and appliances. The beds were very comfortable. The area was safe, close to a number of convenience stores, only five min walking distance to a train station and within walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel staff was very helpful and responsive. It was a perfect place with our five year old. We also appreciated the free water, coffee, beer and sake in the hotel lobby. We would love to stay here again if we ever come back to Tokyo!

The hotel and staff are impeccable from start to finish. They helped us with all of our cab and restaurant reservations. If we come back to Kyoto we will stay here again

Nice area. Away from the buzz, which meant 15-20 min walking to most places we wanted to go.

Probably wouldn’t stay there again. Even though it’s kid friendly and super cute- our room smelled like urine, I felt like the floors were terribly used, and it just wasn’t clean.

This was a great choice for my family of five traveling to Kyoto. It was exceptionally clean and the suite was spacious. Free coffee, tea, sake and beer in the lobby was a nice amenity. It was easy to walk to the train station and other local attractions from this location. Riding the train was extremely easy. There were options for dining and coffee within walking distance as well as convenience stores and supermarkets. It was also easy to grab an Uber and receive Uber eats. I loved the shower rooms with tubs and the washer/dryer in unit. I would absolutely come back or visit another MIMARU property in the future.

Mimaru was an excellent, spacious and affordable option for our family spending 4 days in Kyoto. Desk staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, and it was in a very central location for transport and local amenities. We really appreciated all the local information and recommendations, as well as the complementary beer and sake in the evenings! The apartment had everything we needed for a memorable stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return to a Mimaru.

My family LOVED this property. We had 2 bedrooms and SO MUCH ROOM. This was our 3rd stop on our trip and by far the absolute best. The morning coffee, the nightly sake and beer on tap was divine after a long day of getting around town. The location was fabulous!

Nice place. The two bedroom suite had two bathrooms, three tvs, and four beds. This place had plenty of room! The in suite washer dryer combo (with included detergent) was extremely handy. Staff was nice and couldn’t have had a roomier stay.

Plenty of dining options near by. Some of them are not readily visible on google.. they do close on random days of the week but some options are always going to be available. Subway is a 5 minute walk. Not in a busy shopping area but those options are easily accessible by subway. Staff is extremely helpful. Washer/dryer is small and so don’t overstuff it. It won’t dry and will take a long time. Great amenity to have though.

Amazing front staff - always cheerful and helpful. Rooms are very nice and clean. Lots of local izakayas and food places nearby. Close to subway and bus stops.

Mimaru Suites is a fantastic apartment hotel in Kyoto. Very spacious, modern, clean, comfortable, and nicely located near metro lines that made it very convenient to explore the beautiful city of Kyoto. I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for 2-bedroom, 2-bath place, and will definitely stay here again if I get the chance to return to Kyoto.

I stayed here with a group of friends wile visiting Japan for my birthday and this was one of my favorite places! The staff is incredible and the space felt like a home. We were all able to comfortably sleep and unwind in the space in between our adventures. They offer hot tea and sake along with toiletries downstairs. I will definitely keep this place on my list for when I return to Kyoto!

The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for.

The room suite was excellent! The pictures displayed are accurate of the actual room we stayed in. The suite was spacious and had all the necessary amenities like pots, cups, cutlery, laundry detergent, etc. to feel right at home. The staff is also excellent! They’re were friendly, helpful, and welcoming!

We stayed here as two couples traveling together on a friends trip. Loved having the option for a two room suite with kitchen and laundry. Plenty of space. The hotel offers robes, fun games and activities like origami making in the lobby and daily sake for free. Lots to do nearby and great places to eat right around the block.

We stayed in a 2-room apartment. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The property was conveniently located with a subway station, restaurant and amenities within walking distance. Excellent place. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even had a free drink service in the lobby, which was a nice surprised. The location is good as well as it is centrally located, close to a bus stop and metro, and walking distance to many restaurants. We had a great stay.

This hotel is a new property with top notch staff. I stayed for 4 nights in 2 bedrooms suite. The space is everything. It’s not easy to find a big room for family that allow 4 people in a room in Japan. Most of the place jam too many beds in a tiny room or only allow 2 persons.

The room here is very new and it has everything you need. Very good air-con, kitchen,and washer/dryer. There is a drink corner at the lobby with free sake , beer, water, and tea.

The staff speak English very well and alway make sure you get help. They all are so active and friendly. They spend lot of time help me find taxi to airport with all details and price choices.

I booked 3 different hotels including 2 suites at Westin and my teen daughter love this hotel the most. Definitely recommend to everyone coming to Tokyo.

The room in this hotel is surprisingly spacious, super for family with kids. It has a very good location, close to basically everything needed. The stuff are very friendly, helpful and considerate! If I go to Kyoto next time, this hotel is the first thing I would like to book!

Best place we have stayed at from all of our trips to Japan! Very big and brand new rooms. Complimentary drinks in the lobby are a plus. But the best of all is the wonderful and friendly staff! They went above and beyond to help me find my lost luggage. We hope to come back soon and enjoy this wonderful place!

Great place to stay in Kyoto. This is a new property. Rooms are spacious with new furnishings. Staff is superb. Warmly greeted us and helped us to organize our days and dining options. Made everything easy. Liked the beer and sake available when you come in! Full kitchen and dining table were helpful. We’ll come again!

Our family of four (two preteens, my husband, and I) had an incredible stay here. Our rooms (two bedroom suite) were new and spacious. The beds were comfortable and hotel is super close to the subway and several convenience stores, small grocery store, and walkable to several restaurants. Above all, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would totally recommend this place.

We loved our stay at Mimaru! Great amenities like free sake, beer, tea and coffee. The staff were also very friendly, and can speak in different languages. Lots of great restaurants nearby; the train station is also less than 5 mins away. The 2 bedroom suite was very spacious, and loved that there was a washer/dryer!
