室数に対してエレベーター2機は少ないと思います。チェックイン、チェックアウト、食事時間帯のエレベーター待ちは酷かったです。
フロントの熟練度はまだまだ足りていません。宿泊人数の確認ミス、寝具の案内漏れ、閑散期の私語等改善余地はだいぶありそうです。

海外からの観光客が9割以上。加湿空気清浄機には限りがあるので、乾燥する時期には注意が必要。
御堂筋は夜中の騒音(特にバイク)がかなりうるさい。

The staff in this hotel was amazing. They were gracious, accommodating, and went way out of their way for a couple of exhausted Americans, on the last night of their trip, melting down after being lost in the Tokyo Central Station. When we arrived after 14 days of flawless reservations and travel, we were informed that I had booked the wrong night before our flight back to Denver the next day. They courteously scoured the hotel for a remaining unoccupied room and provided us with an upgraded room for a nominal cost. Our room, an Executive Twin, was the nicest room (suite) we stayed in after wonderful, luxury accommodations in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. It was beautifully appointed and had a large floor plan. I can't say enough about the staff. They are terrific!!!

The rooms felt dirty. I didn’t like how we had to bring our towels from our room to the onsen. The breakfast was mid. We ending up leaving a day early to go back to Tokyo because we weren’t enjoying our stay.

Candeo Shinsaibashi has the best location if you want Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi area. The hotel was also clean and neat and the rooms were not too small. Great value for money hotel with all the amenities that you would want and need for this price point. I would happily come back again.

Great spot in Osaka

The hotel was nicr, the room was small but it was well cared for and updated. The location was great and there is a coin laundry in the building that was easy to use. I woukd stay there again.

Not sure why they have good reviews

This hotel is a self proclaimed 4-star hotel. For the hefty price you’re paying, I expected better service and rooms. They charge you extra for EVERYTHING. We got there an hour before their allowable check in time of 3pm and were told we couldn’t get a room because it was before check in time. I asked if this was because there were no rooms available and the receptionist said that there were rooms available but we would need to pay $30 extra to check in early. AN HOUR BEFORE CHECK IN THEY CHARGE WHEN THEY HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE ARE YOU KIDDING? They charge extra if you lose a room key and need another, they charge extra for checking out 5 minutes after 11am. Do you need an extra towel? Don’t even ask because you’re only allowed 1 per person for the whole stay. They were treating this place like we didn’t just pay $350 a night for it. This place is the Spirit/Ryan air of hotels. Also the room we got had black mold in the bathroom and they were giving me a hard time about changing rooms. Do not stay here.

The bathroom is very hard to use

The room is big and the location is as good as we expected. But the bathroom is a surprise. It is very difficult to use. It has a tub and faucets and that's all. The wash basin is outside of the bathroom.

Over priced, wouldn’t return.

Very small room without space for suitcases, bedsheets and bathroom was clean but the room itself was slightly dated and dusty.

Some staff were very helpful, others were rude to my partner when the laundry machine stopped working and the room cleaning were persistent in bothering us one day when we were using the room despite requesting no cleaning services were needed (but didn’t sent to vacuum for the other 5 days we were there).
Good location, but for the price we have stayed in far better hotels in Japan at a better price.

This hotel is in a prime location right in the heart of Shinsaibashu within walking distance to the flick sign, Shinsaibashisuji and many other attractions. The rooms were good although the king room was smaller than the twin room my kids got. They also have a sky spa up on the roof which is like a posh Japanese’s bathhouse. Really recommend this hotel.

In the Heart of Osaka

Location was so close to good and shopping, less than 5 min walk to the glica sign. The rooms were large and clean and and very modern. Metro was very close by and a Seven Eleven 1 block away.

This property is well-located to the popular Dotonbori district of Osaka, full of restaurants, street eateries, shops, and tourist attractions. It is on a Main Street with wide sidewalks and many taxi stands. The room is reasonably spacious and has a nice bathroom. You can tell it is an older building that has undergone some renovation. The common areas and lobbies are fully renovated. The rooms are also mostly updated - some little giveaways show its age, but nothing too extreme. The building has an interestingarchitecture, integrating the adjacent Buddhist temple in an elegant way. Those are all the good points of the hotel. Some downsides are, the in-house dining options are very limited, both in hours and in dining areas. The hotel breakfast does not begin till something like 7:30 am. Also, because of its location, there is a fair degree of noise from the outside street. The most significant thing I wish I knew is that, we booked a room for four people (two adults, two children ages 10 and 12). The room came furnished with three single beds, and then bedding and provisions are given to convert one of the day beds/benches along the window into a fourth bed. It is not a true bed per se, it is more of a settee that you make into a makeshift bed, that almost directly abuts the glass window of the high rise building! Luckily my son is very slim/small, and he stays still while sleeping, so it worked - but would maybe be an issue for other guests (too narrow

We were hopeful about our stay, but unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The most troubling part was that my daughter’s earrings went missing from our room. When we brought it to the hotel’s attention, we were only told that they did not find them. No further follow-up or concern was shown, which left us disappointed and uneasy. I sincerely hope the hotel takes guest security more seriously in the future.

The hotel itself is just as you would expect from a decent hotel: clean, everything is in good, working condition, water pressure is good. However, since it is located in the heart of Osaka, expect to be swamped by tourists and locals as soon as you step outside the hotel. Bring earplugs, because there is constant high level noise from the streets, especially at night when motorcycle gangs are out roaming.

Perfect location between Dotonbori and high end shops, beautiful room and onsen. Staff was fine, but did not like that they booked our dinner res at a restaurant with a 600 yen pp cover charge without telling us (rare and frowned upon in Japan) or that they would not let one buy just a cup of coffee from their “coffee to go” station at the breakfast buffet (2200 yen for coffee only seems excessive).

Amazing hotel in Osaka. The location is close to all the shopping and food. The skytop Onsen was lovely. However it can get a little noisy on a Friday night with all the action in Dontonbori. The front desk people are super friendly and helpful and speak English. They were able to get reservations for omakase for my wife and I, something we were not able to do on our own.

The best hotel we have stayed in Asia. There’s literally a temple on the first floor untouched, and they built the hotel around it, just amazing. The breakfast book buffet is really good. The hotel is upscale and beautiful. The staff are very attentive. It’s literally two minutes walk to Dontobori.
There is not a better hotel than this if you’re going to dontobori. If I ever come back to Osaka, I will 100% be staying here. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re actually very upscale and beautiful inside. If you get a corner room like we did, you can see the main road which lights up at night it’s just fantastic. They have a on on the top. They also have a laundromat. Don’t make the mistake of not going here.

No cleaning of the rooms whatsoever (even if you request it) Expect to have your bath, even the toilet and sink not cleaned, the same with coffee mugs or glasses. Windows aren’t soundproof so expect to hear the very loud and annoying un silenced exhaust of the machines of the motorcycle gangs that gather in front of the hotel EVERY NIGHT to reev up their bikes (to their amusement but to the chagrin of guests). We were awoken by one of those mentally challenged idiots by 4:25 am the morning I’m writing this review. Also (as if all of the previous accounts were not enough) most of the hours of the morning of our first day in the hotel the hotel (15 stories high) worked with just one elevator.
There is not relation of cost to benefit in this hotel. Too expensive for what it delivers

The hotel boasts a fantastic location within a short walking distance to Dotonbori, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The property itself is beautiful, with well-maintained facilities and a welcoming atmosphere. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the bed comfort — the mattresses were exceptionally firm, which may not suit all travelers’ preferences.

We arrived early for check-in and staff stored our bags so we could go out and explore the area. We returned later in the afternoon and the front desk had kindly moved our bags to our room. We really appreciated the extra touch. We stayed 2 nights and our only complaint was our room was not cleaned during our stay and the housekeeping staff was less than pleasant.

清潔真的非常需要改進，入住時地毯有零星食物碎屑，預約了全室清潔服務，放在垃圾桶旁的一袋垃圾居然沒有收走，入住三天都覺得身體有點癢癢的，建議或許需要增購空氣清淨機或除溼機這類設備更能優化空氣及整體乾淨

This is a great hotel to explore Osaka and especially around Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi areas. The hotel is very elegant and clean. Staff were pleasant, helpful and assisted us with shipping our luggage to the next destination. The room was a good size, clean, and had a great view. The only con was lighting is low in the sink area and elevators were slow because there were only 2 of them.
