Section L Yushima

部屋に入った瞬間、芳香剤のきつい匂いがして気分が悪くなった。タバコの匂いがしてその匂いを消すためではないかと思った。
掃除がいきとどいてなく、清潔感がなかった。
お風呂場も毛が落ちていた。
エアコンの効きが悪く部屋の場所によってとても寒かった。
評価が9以上の宿泊施設とは思えない。

Great location for transportation, shopping, and restaurant. Very quiet during the night. Clean and decent size room. Easy check in and out. Stuff members are very friendly.

Great place for a family of four

Stayed there with my wife and two kids, and it was great. The room is small, but everything was very new and clean. Beds were comfortable, all appliances worked fine, and staff was always there to help with everything we needed (shoutout to Erin who helped us settle in after a 28-hour trip). Would 100% stay again

Ottima scelta se si cerca una soluzione con anche cucina e lavatrice, che noi abbiamo utilizzato ampiamente.
Il personale molto gentile, però noi siamo rimaste 5 notti e non sono mai venuti a fare le pulizie, né a cambiare gli asciugamani. Ci è sembrato non consono alla struttura. Forse avremmo dovuto chiederlo ma, solitamente, dopo 3 notti un cambio asciugamani almeno dovrebbero farlo.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the room I thought I booked was not the room I got. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting. The room we had was extremely small, with a small frosted window that only about a couple inches. If you are at all claustrophobic, you may not be able to manage. I asked for a different room, but they were fully booked. However, they did agree to refund our stay minus the one night we stayed. This was very kind of them, and I was able to find more suitable accommodation.

Section L Yushima is like an efficiency apartment, with a kitchenette and washing machine. It is spacious by Tokyo standards. It is on a quiet side street in the Yushima neighborhood, south of Ueno. There is a Chiyoda Metro entrance just around the corner. There is no maid service, but they have English-speaking attendants (English mother tongue, I would say...) in the lobby 24-7, which is a nice service.

Everything about our stay at Section L was easy! Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Our room was a good size for Japan, and very clean/modern. The washer/dryer unit was clutch when traveling abroad, we didn’t have to back as much to bring with us. Excellent location, right near a couple of subway lines. Would definitely stay again!!

Loved the location, near several subway lines and could easily walk to Ueno park. There were many little streets in the surrounding area with small restaurants as well. Really nice to have laundry in our room. Beds were super comfortable. The only negative was how small and cramped the room felt. There were no drawers or closet--just a hanging rack for your clothes. There was no space to even lay a suitcase other than on top of the small 3-person table in the middle of the room. Stayed with my family of 4. Great place if you're ok with a small space!

As an American family of adults and teens, this hotel was wonderful for a visit to Tokyo.

The "Superior studio" was enough room for three adults or teens. We used the extra bed/couch for our stuff and there was still room to sit at the table and eat together.

The staff were very helpful and communicated well in English. The hotel also supplied a web site that we used to ask questions before we arrived and during our stay.

The bathroom and shower were spacious for one person to use at a time.

The kitchen was fully equipped with fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, toaster oven, and kettle. There was also a washer/dryer.

The street was quiet and felt safe at night. A 24-hour Family Mart is right across the street with fresh and packaged food.

The southwest corner of Ueno Park is a few blocks away on a busy but safe street. Walking to the museums, Ueno Stations, or the outdoor Ameyoko shopping area are about 15-minute walks (uphill for the museums) but less than 1000Y for a taxi to those places.

On arrival/departure we walked with our suitcases between the hotel and the station for the Narita Skyliner train (Keisi Ueno Station), the 15 minutes was manageable but some would prefer to hail a taxi.

Love that it has laundry facilities in the room, and comes with liquid detergent, lint roller, iron and all! And the washer was so quiet! Even has a weighing scale, toaster, microwave, water filter, recycle bins. Most well equipped apartment ever stayed in. Will choose section L again!

Room is a little small but expected and spacious enough to have a round table which is nice for our family of four to sit around to snack at. Beds are big and comfy. Sofa beds are comfy too although a little short for a grown man. I like the shower room the best. Shower is hot and has good pressure, perfect after a long day of walking. Shopping malls, restaurants and subway are within walking distance. I recommend this place.

Everyone at the property was very helpful. All spoke English well so one less thing to stress about. Close to major train lines and a direct shot from the Narita Skyliner. Great grocery store near by as well.

非常棒

房間清潔乾淨，有微波爐、電磁爐、電子鍋還有洗衣機，所有餐具都有準備，也有提供洗衣精、洗髮精和沐浴乳⋯等
我們這次住兩個人，我覺得空間剛剛好，兩咖大行李箱打開也不會佔太多行人空間，下次來還會想要繼續住

沒有執房服務，要自行清理垃圾，清潔房間/更換毛巾要額外收費
住一兩晚冇所謂，住得耐請三思

好唔好彩，我住到房間唔夠熱水，沖沖吓變凍水，要等5分鐘先變返熱水，搞到我阿媽病咗
我地三人住，每晚沖涼好似抽生死籌咁睇吓邊個沖沖下會變凍水，每日都向職員反映，但都要去到第四晚先完全正常 🙄🙄🙄

4인까지 가능한 객실~사이즈 넉넉해요

바닥이 카펫이 아니라서 깔끔하고 좋았구요 주방에서 간단한 조리가 가능합니다. 우리는 라면 끓여먹었어요^^ 3박4일인데 수건 리필을 못해서 (비용추가인듯) 그냥 아껴서 썼어요. 싱글침대2개, 쇼파베드 1개, 변신안한 쇼파가 있어서 공간 넉넉해요. 다음에 친구들이랑 다시 방문할 계획있어요

Staff was very friendly and ready to help, though there was very little I needed beyond what was provided. The room was reasonably small and very clean; the smaller size (compared to U.S.) was helpful when cooling the room down. All appliances were like new and perfectly functional. The room was quiet and we made/recieved no complaints regarding other guests.
I would absolutely select this hotel again for a future trip!

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Great to have a washing machine in the room. Beds and pillows were a bit firm but after a long day in Tokyo we still got good rest. Very quiet. Strong AC. Family mart right around the corner. Yushima station is the closest. We would stay here again

Fantastic place to stay which is near subway//JR station and Keisei line. Room was very well equipped but for a family of 4. I wish we could tell that the room was rather small. It does not appear small from photos. Friendly staff and super clean facility otherwise.

What a great experience.

Incredible experience staying at Section L in Yushima. Very well located in a less touristic area of Tokyo. The hotel and room are very clean and well appointed - you can self cater some of your meals very easily. Very highly recommend this hotel as value for money in an incredible city.

the small apartments have everything you need for a short stay of up to a week while you are travelling around Japan including coocking facilities and utensils a fridge freezer and a washer - dryer. The staff are amazingly friendly and we absolutely loved it.
