掃除か何かしているかわからないが、扉の閉める音や、ベッドメイキングか何かわからないが、壁にドンドンと当たる音が、非常にうるさい！

非常に便利な所にあり、施設として新しくて快適に過ごせました。朝食の焼き立てパンをはじめ、たくさん食べ過ぎてしまいました。

明るい今風の部屋のインテリアでした。
ユニットバスは韓国製？なかなか良かったです。
シャンプー、トリートメント、ボディソープ、洗顔はポーラでした。髪の毛がサラサラになりました。
通常は期待しないので、驚きました。
チェックイン前、チェックイン後、どちらも手荷物を預かってくれます。
繁華街にも近いので、夜も楽しめます。
再び、泊まりたいです。

インバウンド向けの施設らしい。宿泊客のほとんどが外国人でした。
フロントのスタッフも海外では普通かもしれないが、海外の方が日本のホテルに来て、日本国内のホテルと考えるといかがなものか。
京都にはいい宿がたくさんあるので、この値段であれば他を選びます。

There are three main reasons
1) Poor check-in operations
This took a long time to check in due to some staff members not being able to pinpoint the problem and asking other staff members questions.

2) Dirty facilities and odor issues.
It may just be the floor or room I stayed on, but the carpets in the hallways are dirty. It looked like coffee or wine had been spilled on it. What I disliked the most was the room. The spices? It smelled like smoked stuff which was not a nice smell either, and I had to spray deodorant spray all over the room 4 times to get rid of it.
I also ventilated the room, but that didn't get rid of the smell, and I had to put up with it because it was at a level where I could spend the night anyway.

(3) Surroundings
I think it is good for sightseeing, but it is not a comfortable environment because of the noise of some cars during the night.

To their credit, the beds in the rooms themselves are spacious, and I would not have given this rating if they were not smelly and dirty.

総合80点、唯一残念な点が、、、

京都の中心街にあって、錦市場や新京極が近くにあり、どこに移動するのも便利な立地。チェックイン前・アウト後も荷物の預かりサービスがあって助かった。宿泊客はおそらく9割がインバウンドのツーリスト。ひとつだけ残念だったのが、チェックアウトして部屋に忘れ物をしてしまい大阪に移動後気が付いたのだが、出来ればチェックアウトの時にルームクリーニングのスタッフがもう1度部屋の確認をして明らかに宿泊客の忘れ物が有ればすぐにフロントに連絡して欲しかった。海外（東南アジア）のホテルでさえしてるのに。そこだけが唯一残念な点でした。

A hotel that prioritizes profits over guest satisf

I do not recommend this accommodation to travelers.
While I understand the cancellation policy, I was unable to go to the hotel on the day of check-in due to a family emergency. When I requested a cancellation, I was told that no refund would be provided, and they refused to assist me.
Many hotels in Kyoto are more accommodating and understanding, but this hotel does not consider the guest's circumstances at all.
I recommend travelers choose other nearby hotels that can offer more flexibility.

ロケーション良し。シングルにデスク無し

賑やかな街中にありますので、どこへ行くにも便利ですし、食事にも困りません。先斗町にも、新京極にも、寺町通にも近いです。
一つだけ難がありました。シングルルームに泊まりましたが、デスクがありませんでした。PCを膝の上で使ってOkな方には不自由ないと思いますが、私は、デスクに置いて使いたかったです。

街中にあるので、夜はバイクや車の騒音が少しうるさかったけど、とても便利な場所にあり、ホテルも部屋も綺麗で、ペットも大きく、シャワーの勢いも良く、とても快適に過ごせました。

商店が所狭しと立ち並ぶアーケードのような屋根がある通りの中にあるので、遠くからではわかりにくい場所にある。でも建物の中はとてもキレイ。この値段は凄い。

日本在住、日本人です。8/6宿泊。
チェックイン時は観光客対応でそれなりに時間かかるものと思ってください。
チェックイン予定記入が事前にないものですから対応難しいですよね、ふつーに。何故とりいれないのか不思議です。
日本なのに日本語がわからないフロントがいて驚きました。
列整列もさせないし、どこに並べばいいのか謎。
並んでいたのに横入りしてきた外国人観光客…
せめて誘導ぐらいはしてください。

部屋は綺麗で普通だと思います、口コミでお風呂の戸がガラスとかありましたけど全体ではないので特に気にならないと思います。
どこが恥ずかしいのだろう？と逆に疑問笑
トイレットペーパーは不親切でダブル？半分以下を二つ設置。
予備が必要なレベルです、長期滞在や相方がいる場合は要注意。

朝食は鎌倉パスタにてとるのですが観光客向けに従業員が対応しているのか席案内してもらえるのかな？と待っていたら一言も発さず、英文看板表示されて？？してたらようやく日本語で説明。
せめて最初ぐらい英語か日本語使えよとツッコミをいれそうになりましたね。
メニューはフツーですが日本人に優しくない仕様です。
ご飯べちゃべちゃ、味噌汁冷めてるかつ汁だけだから具は自分でいれるこんなひどい食事はじめて遭遇しましたね笑
おかずはウインナー、ベーコン、焼きすぎな硬いスクランブルエッグ。
少ないおかずと口コミありましたが普通だと思います、ただ投下が遅い。
なくなってもすぐに投下しないのに驚きました。
従業員、チェックせずくっちゃべって仕事まともにしないならあんな人数いらんでしょ。
逆に誘導もしないならあんな人数いりますかね？
正直二度とここでは食事しないと誓いました。

朝清掃の従業員らしき方とエレベーター一緒でしたが挨拶がないのに驚きました。

今まで色々な場所で泊まりましたけどこんなにモヤモヤしたホテルは初めてです。
観光客>日本人向け
京都でとまるのは今後やめとこうと感じました。

Very busy location, this hotel is right in the heart of downtown so it was very accessible to dining and shopping which was great however the hotel itself is a bit outdated and not the cleanest. The washroom was very small and squishy, and the room itself does not have much space to open up your luggage. You could also hear people in the hallways so it was sometimes very noisy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay and the hotel is really nice, especially location and connections to all key tourist sights.
The only concern I had were the very small/short pillows which made sleep very uncomfortable.

You get what you pay for

The location is premier and the price is reasonable but you really get what you pay for. I asked for extra pillows and a blanket, which they didn’t have. You have to get lucky and hope there’s an Iron if you request it. The room was pretty small too. If I had to do it again, I’d pay a little extra for a different hotel

Esperábamos más, el peor hotel de nuestro viaje a Japón de 3 semanas. Guardan las maletas sin comprobar que eres cliente en el check in, no hay escaleras y en ocasiones los ascensores se saturan, las lavadoras están ocupadas siempre, es imposible usarlas (2 calles más abajo hay una lavaderia más rápida y barata, pero el hotel no te lo dice). El desayuno no es recomendable, los platos están sucios y la variedad y calidad de comida es muy limitada. La habitación en nuestro caso, doble de dos camas, tamaño correcto, aunque la almohada es mínima (ocupa la mitad del ancho de la cama), la limpieza es el 4 día de estancia y no se ofrece cambio de toallas a no ser que lo pidas en recepción, al igual que la basura. Las amenities muy limitadas, no facilitan crema ni infusiones o café (en la habitación hay solo para un día) y tampoco hay de bienvenida. Dejan paraguas si llueve y hay servicio de envío de equipaje. Sería al único hotel que no volvería, una lástima.

Amazing Stay in the Heart of Kyoto!

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Kyoto, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and many of the city’s top attractions. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient.

The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Everything from the lobby to the rooms was spotless and well-maintained. It’s clear that the staff takes great pride in keeping the place tidy and welcoming.

Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made a big difference.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto!

1. Staff at breakfast need hygiene, and English language training.
2. The inside of the coffee machine at breakfast was extremely dirty - hadn't been cleaned in weeks, as was the outside area.
Same breakfast menu - each day for my 9 days there.
3. Room maids (Nepalese) stunk of body odor. While changing my pillow cases, the male maid used his neck area to tuck in the pillow into the pillow case - his neck was full of sweat.
4. The female maid didn't clean the actual toilet seat - I saw the same stains which was there prior to my check-in into the room.
5. The bath tub had old soap scum on the outside of the bathtub which also was there when I checked-in. The female maid didn't bother to clean it.
6. There was a noticeable semen stain on the lower part of the wall near my side of the bed, as well as on the carpet. It has dried and was stuck to the wall.
7. At breakfast, I showed the female baking the bread a long strand of hair in the bread basket - she did take it out but found it too funny, and then put more bread in the same basket.
8. The vent in the shower wasn't strong enough to clear the steam.
9. The AC in the room didn't have English writing making it hard to use the AC.
10. Elevators were jam-packed during checkout times - no stairs to go down stairs.

Fabulous location. Excellent, compact & impeccably clean rooms. Buffet Breakfast was a little light on options but still suitable given the hotels proximity to an abundance of dining alternatives. Staff were professional and courteous. All in all, and excellent stay.

I had the triple room with 3 beds. The room was large but the hotel is sandwiched between buildings with only 2 small frosted windows on one wall, so it felt dark without much natural light. This room was on a low floor, so I don’t know about higher rooms.
The bathroom was extremely tiny with barely any space, with walls made of plastic. It reminded me of a portable bathroom. And it was 1 foot higher than the rest of the room, so you had to step up and down going in and out of it. Not ideal when you’re jet lagged and half asleep. And the shower curtain had a huge hand stain on it, which I don’t understand why they wouldn’t change the plastic curtain.
As other reviewers mentioned, they don’t clean the room during a 3 night stay, so don’t expect any room service of any kind.
There were stains and scuffs on the walls, microwave and floor. But the beds seemed clean.
The 3 stars are mostly for the location, which is great, and the low cost of the rooms compared to other hotels in the area. It’s definitely a budget hotel, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and there were no rooms available to switch into. It definitely seemed that the previous guests had smoked in the room and cleaning staff had turned over the room and not mentioned the smoke smell. Had we had any health issues this would have been a huge problem. The front desk worker was very nice and tried his best to help us, but unfortunately did not have the resources to remedy the situation. He was so nice we did not demand a refund for the night, but this was a very frustrating situation especially since this hotel is one of the few to not allow free cancellations or reservation changes at all. We spent the night in our smoke smelling room with the window open which was an issue since you're on the main road which is very loud at night. We were given a new room in the morning and were able to move in at 8:30 AM thankfully. Since our clothes smelled of cigarettes, we used the laundry services and despite being in the dryer for 2 hours, our clothes remained wet and we were forced to hang them around the room to air dry which was very difficult given the room size. More frustrating was a worker took our wet clothes out of the washer without asking so our laundry time extended another hour to wait for a machine to open up again. We received breakfast vouchers for the smoky room situation - I wouldn't recommend paying for the breakfast. Location was convenient, but loud at night. Bed and pillows were soft and comfy. Good size room.
