洗面所ゴキブリがでた。
夜間のフロントにつながらず、緊急連絡先がフロントに書いてあったため、電話するもつながらず。
全体的に綺麗で良いものの、出るものは、仕方ないが対応されなかったため不満。

Had a wonderful stay at the Gion Elite Terrace! Lots of great amenities (the washing machines and dryer were lifesavers) and the super friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, offering recommendations, arranging for taxis, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was by far the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. Our room included a private bath, garden, and sauna—it felt like our own little sanctuary.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and every detail of the room was beautifully designed. We especially appreciated the complimentary coffee, matcha, and other thoughtful touches. They even gifted us a beautiful locally made tote bag that supports a great cause—such a special gesture.

We truly wish we had stayed longer and highly, highly recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely be back!

Easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, we didn’t want to leave. Spacious, beautiful appointed, sauna, oxygen spa bath. Spotlessly clean with helpful fabulous staff. Convenient laundry facilities. Small traditional restaurants in the streets and alleyways made for some great cultural / gastronomical experiences. Great work Gion Elite Terrace

Amazing property with a super spacious room! The staff were so kind and accommodated our late check-in. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We loved our bathroom that included a sauna and an oxidized bathtub. Super close to all the main sites and metros, we walked more than anything else. 10/10 would stay here again!

For the price, I’d rather pay less and stay further away. It was way too crowded at the hotel and surrounding areas.

There is also zero amenities besides the laundry room which was a nightmare of its own. For a hotel of this size, there were two washers and one dryer. Guests were pulling other guests clothes out….

Good stay except breakfasts buffet

Our room was very clean and a lot of spaces. Also, loved the bath room and tab with bubbles.
The design of our room was nice!
Staff were very friendly and fluent in English.
The only negative point was their breakfast. The buffet had very few selections, not much Japanese food at all. There was no curry, even though their advertisement says they have. No chef was present to grill fishes or Kyoto’s traditional dishes. They could improve their break buffet, as I felt it was like **** Inn’s cheap breakfast fast food (e.g. toast, pancake, cereal, yogurt etc.)

Great stay

Great stay. Comfortable beds, clean space, and the kitchenette is a nice touch. Taxi drivers do struggle to find the small street, though, so be prepared to show them a map of the navigation, if you’re not using an app taxi service. Nice Sri Lankan food in the cafe, too.

Beautiful hotel in a nice area. Very walkable. There were some areas that were not perfectly clean like the floor surrounding the bed and nightstands. A pleasant stay and would recommend.

We loved staying at this hotel. It is immaculate, beautifully designed, the staff are so helpful, and you are close to so many great sightseeing and shopping areas. The rooms are so comfortable and modern. Our room had a private sauna and oxygen bath, it was like having your own little private spa. It was quiet at night and we slept well. Can’t recommend it enough.

This was the perfect spot for a week of exploring Kyoto. Large comfortable & clean rooms, with a balcony, wonderful staff all around, & convenient to the best parts of Kyoto. I highly recommend staying in the Gion area & Gion Elite Terrace is the perfect spot.

Perfect Kyoto Hotel

We fell in love with this hotel! The location was perfectly situated to explore Kyoto and the staff were AMAZING! They were so friendly and helpful from everything to giving recommendations to helping us ship our luggage to our next hotel. The room itself was beautiful and large! We booked a double queen and the room had plenty of room for four adults to live in for 4 nights. AND THE BATHROOM!!!! The shower pressure was bliss, the soaker tub with the oxygenated bubbles was so nice after long days of walking and big enough to fit 6’2” men! The sauna was a nice touch as well! I would 1000% stay here again!

Extremely great location for exploring Gion area of Kyoto. Easy to walk to local attractions and take the buses. Property was clean and modern. Has laundry onsite if you need it. Stayed with a family of 4, 2 teenage daughters. There was sufficient room for all of us in one room. Bathrooms and specially showers were very nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kyoto.

Excellent location with great location

New and clean hotel. Great breakfast. Really appreciated the laundry being available in the hotel lobby. Only complaint is regarding the fee/penalty they charge for not returning the room card keys. I am sure it is in the contracts but they definitely don't mention it verbally to you when checking in.

Perfect location. Property was clean and staff were very friendly. It was nice to have a small kitchenette. You can borrow pots, pants and utensils from the front desk for free if you stay 3 nights and longer.

Good size room, ours came with a sauna.
Property was clean. Staff spoke fluent English.
Station is pretty far about a 14 min walk.
Bus stop is a 1 min walk.
Highly recommend as it's close to the old gion district.

We stayed in both the western style and Japanese style rooms and they were both lovely - elegant, spacious, clean. Location is great and many sites are walkable. It is just around the corner from a bus stop that takes you direction to Kyoto station and there is also conveniently a 7/11 very nearby.

Great place - beautiful rooms. We stayed in both the western and Japanese style rooms and they were both lovely and spacious. Clean, elegant. Great location with many sites within walking distance, very near to a 7/11 and just around the corner from the bus stop.

We stayed here for 6 nights. Location is perfect for exploring the Gion area, but in hindsight wish I'd stayed somewhere a bit more accessible to other sites like Nishiki Market. Gion seemed to close down around 6:00 most days and then we had problems finding dinner. We ended up ordering uber eats 2 nights. Loved the quaintness and staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint about the room is that our bed wasn't anchored to the headboard or wall, so our mattress kept slipping out from under us and made it hard to sit up and watch TV. This would be a really quick fix! Uber worked perfectly in Kyoto from rides to food.

Fantastic modern boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. They often recommended places to eat and things to do. The only downside is that breakfast is very basic. The location is fantastic and walking distance from most attractions in Gion. I would definitely recommend this place.

BEAUTIFUL location, super convenient and walkable for sightseeing in Kyoto. We booked a room with a private sauna which was incredible after a long day of walking all over Kyoto. The oxygen bubble bath in our room only worked once (tried to use it 3 times), but that was the only hiccup with the accommodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself (especially the outside at night) is very pretty. Coffee/water and amenities in the lobby are a nice touch. 10/10 recommend!!

This was the best hotel we stayed in Japan. Staff was super helpful and all spoke great English. The rooms were large and clean. Most things to do were within walking distance of the hotel. Overall this hotel experience helped the remainder of our trip be stress free.

Very impressed by the accommodations provided. Only visible minor issue was not being able to use the black-out shades with the button interface provided in the room, but that could just be user error and is definitely not enough to detract from a 5/5 experience

Walking to Gion area and to Kyomizu-dera with amazing view to Kyoto and walk along small beautiful traditional shops.
The room size is great for the three of us. Sauna and oxygen bath in the room are great addition. Also, free laundry is a big plus. Hotel is modern with the touch of Japanese ryokan style. The food in the restaurant is vegan.
We really enjoy our stay.

Great boutique hotel in the heart of the historic district. Great customer service, beautiful rooms, coffee and tea provided all day, nice breakfast for a fee, safe and lovely. Book it!

The property is in great location in Gion which is walkable to a lot of tourist attractions. It’s not too far (15-20 min walk) from the Nishiki market. There is a bus stop around the corner from the hotel and the closest train station is about a 12 minute walk. The hotel itself was clean and having a sauna in the room was very nice. There is free laundry machines by the lobby, however plan accordingly because the dryer takes 3-4 hours to dry a load. Overall, we had a great stay and I would stay here again.

An excellent stay. Spotlessly clean. Incredibly helpful staff. Brilliant location. Elegant, stylish. The sauna in room was a huge plus in winter. The breakfast buffet was simple but tasty and good value. We really loved this hotel.

Was one of our favorite hotels while staying in Japan. Staff was great. Breakfast was high quality for the price. Room was clean, modern and spacious. The large tub and sauna made it a peaceful sanctuary to return to after running around Kyoto. Wished we’d stayed longer.

The front desk staff were very helpful. A few members of the staff spoke very good English, so it was easy to check in. The hotel is very nice, as was the room where I stayed. A lovely mix of modern and traditional. I only had two issues: the hotel was in an awkward location, and the duvets weren't very wide.

Our room has 2 queen and one sofa bed, which were both fluffy and firm, and really comfortable. The large walk in shower and sauna were attractive and clean, and the staff helpful

The hotel was pretty new so advice to bring hotel information for taxi drivers. It’s so beautiful and they have free amenities and coffee and water in the lobby. We didn’t try the restaurant but it looked delicious.
