My son and I had a wonderful experience at Waqoo. They prepared four bottles of wine and sake for us, along with a welcome Matcha Tea. The hotel also has a spacious, quiet public bath. If I ever need to lay over at NRT again, I would definitely choose this hotel.

Really love staying at this hotel. The Hansen was something that we used each day and was very nice. The only thing I would say to travelers is that the area in which the hotel is located not many restaurants are open during the evening. Most restaurants close at 5 PM. There are a few maybe a handful that stay open to 9. The area is very quiet and clean and close to temples, which is an added bonus.

We stayed here at the end of our trip to Japan instead of going back into Tokyo then having to shuttle back to Narita airport.
We really enjoyed it, clean, quiet and a fusion between western style and Japanese traditional. It was very pricey but pleasant.

Beautiful property in excellent location. Perfect for last night in Japan if leaving from Narita the next day. In historic area and near beautiful and historic temple/ahrine.
Property seemed brand new.

The property is new, staffs are nice, polite, and helpful. The hotel is right in the area where plenty of shops and restaurants, and about 15 minutes walk from the JR station.

This was such a cute property. We ended up hereby accident when we got stuck in Japan for a couple days and this was an unexpected delight. The hotel was lovely and it is right in the middle of the coolest little town. It ended up being our favorite part of our trip to Tokyo.

Great experience- awesome team

Great effort! Everything was perfect. We enjoyed the room, the bath, the privacy. This stay was great and made me want to spend more time in Narita. The best was the service. Top notch team. It was raining when we received personal guidance to the uber pick up spot. We coukd not be more happy with our experience. I reccomend this for anyones stay in Narita.

Everything is good until our Japanese driver got scolded by the receptionist that totally spoiled our mood and shocked us. The japanese driver helped to negotiate on our behalf that we are leaving early in the morning and checked in just before dinner time. It is quite disappointing that we have to fork out alot more money on top of the room and half board we have paid. Although i love the place, I am afraid I would not dare to stay there again.

I loved this property very much! The Japanese style room was lovely, and the special touches, like the sake and Japanese sweet included in the room, made the stay even more special.

The location is perfect and is in the heart of a street full of shops and restaurants. It is also just a few steps away from the famous temple. Being able to watch the shops open in the morning and watching the bustling activity below from the comfort of your room was magical. If you love onsens, there’s a relaxing black silica onsen available onsite. Nothing beats a warm soak after a long day of sightseeing!

The genuine hospitality of the front desk staff is what truly sets this property apart from others. They were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I felt like I was coming iihome every time I returned to this ryokan. The experience and stay I received is exemplary of true Japanese hospitality (omotenashi). I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I’m in the Narita area.

Luxurious stay and impeccable service by staff. Had the best Japanese experience one could ask for in terms of service, stay and dining! Walking distance to the temple and the famous fresh eel shop.

Opted for breakfast and dinner. Totally worth it! Although it would be good to have a brief guide for those clueless guests like myself on the proper way to eat the magnificent spread offered.

Overall, room was clean it was the highlight and perfect way to end my Japan trip. Thank you to the friendly staffs. Arigatou!

Luxury!

Really beautiful hotel! Super clean with extremely friendly staff! The rooms are lovely, the bed possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in! The onsen is spotlessly clean. It's a shame it was just a one-night stay!

The service from the overall staff was exceptional, aside from the initial check in clerk, who seemed annoyed during the time of check in. This was the best hotel we have stayed at, will come back and stay again.

The location is great for visiting Narita Shrine. The facility is clean and comfortable but quite pricey for the quality you get. It’s not a five star luxury hotel after all.
My biggest disappointment was for the Bath House, a communal onsen style bath - it was quite dirty when we went at one night with things floating in the water.

Beautiful ryokan with amazing meals!!!!

Lovely traditional ryokan located close to the Narita Shinto temple. Delicious breakfast and kaseiki dinner served — definitely pay extra for the meals, they were the highlight. Worth the cost! We’ll definitely return.

Only complaint was unable to check in even a little bit early, and we had arrived from a long international flight exhausted and without a place to rest.

An amazing property that will now become my rest stop for several days when arriving/departing Narita Intl airport. Hotel staff are excellent at service, hotel is very stylish and still maintains a true Japanese flavour. Highly recommend the traditional Japanese breakfast. A real treat for all foreigners.

If you stay here, I highly suggest wearing the Yukata and dining here for the full experience. Also, a basic understanding of Japanese would greatly enhance the experience here as Ryokan are a traditional type of inn. Look up "ryokan etiquette" and don't think of it as a western hotel. The rooms are spacious and the beds and tatami are comfortable. Great way to start or end your trip in Japan as it is in Narita.

Amazing stay.

The hotel is located in a charming street full of restaurants and stores. Walking distance from the train station and a few minutes walk to Naritasan. The facility is clean and beautiful. Onsen was great (tattoo friendly.) Great minibar selection which was included. The front staff were very nice and accommodating. I would love to come back for a longer stay here -

Amazing stay with superior service given. Very comfortable and quiet room. Outstanding Japanese dinner and breakfast. Wonderful tour of nearby temple by very knowledgeable guide who worked hard to translate his entire presentation.

New hotel (clean and spacious with a quiet public hot bath) in a great location with many unique shops and a large shrine within walkable distance. Delicious charcoal unagi dining place around the corner.
