和の雰囲気がよい

清水寺ライトアップ時期に、別邸上階や屋上バーから　見ることができる
部屋のお風呂に入りながらも見れる
小さなホテルだけどオンリーワン感がある。従業員は若めの人が多いが　みな一生懸命で気持ちが前に出ていて、好感が持てた。電話対応もフロント対応も良かった。

2度目の宿泊でした。ホスピタリティが高く、プロポーズで利用しましたが、お花の用意や部屋のデコレーションなども提案いただきとても満足のいくものになりました。彼女さんも喜んでくれて京都で1番好きなホテルがさらに最高なものになりました！
また宿泊します。

The hotel was beautiful. Very clean. The amenities were excellent. Staff were amazing.
The location of the hotel was fantastic, walking distance to shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Amazing hotel with so many perks. We felt pampered from the moment we arrived. If you can afford the Bettei section of the hotel, I highly recommend it.

Otima localizacao. Cafe da manha em difícil porque so tem cafe da manha japones… Que basicamente é sashimi (peixe cru), arroz, salmao grelhado… pra quem não ta acostumado a comer isso logo cedo vai sentir falta de um paozinho.

It was very nice room and excellent services overall. Just on the side of the hotel and was under our room had a constructions going on during the day. It was really loud even though just for a few hours. It would be nice if hotel would notify the guests in ahead of the time.

Good Nature hotel across the street with deluctable healthy food. Fantastic eateries nearby. Top everything!

The pictures do not do this place justice! The hotel is just a few years old and the rooms are fantastic! The staff is super helpful and it’s just the kind of place you wanna hang out after fighting the crowds of tourists in Kyoto!

Definitely Recommend!

We loved the Soraniwa! The location was so great, room was awesome (with the private onsen) & the service was generous and kind! We had come from the other side of Kyoto where it was much quieter. While that was a lovely experience, we were glad to be more "in the mix" of the city side of Kyoto at the Soraniwa. Although being in the city, it was very quiet at night. The only downside was that we had difficulty with the AC & the room got very stuffy and hot overnight (this may have been user error). We loved that there are restaurants, shopping, and bar/lounges easily available in walking distance. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends who are visiting Kyoto.

Property is very nice and all staff, literally all, are helpful and attentive. They have a very good concierge. The only drawbacks are evening visits to the roof deck require a drink purchase or you can’t hang out there and we were unable to bring our friends onto the property. We wanted to visit with our friends from Kyoto without having to go to a busy restaurant or bar. Otherwise, this is a great property. In room Onsen is great. I recommend the Corner King room

I don’t get to stay in super nice hotels often due to budget constraints. With that being said: This was the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’d gladly do it again, the private onsen was more than worth it. The staff were incredibly kind and the location was super close to the nearby river and some train stations. I would love to come back and stay longer next time.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic location and view across the river to Gion. Very easy access to metro. Large room, very clean, very helpful staff. The rooftop bar had a great view of the city. Lots of great restaurants and shops within a few minute walk. Will return next time I’m in Kyoto

Pls add do not disturb light

Have told the reception can add a do not disturb light to prevent the worker keep asking us to respond during hot spring.

Hotel location is fantastic. Excellent service and condition of the room. Love the private onsen in the room. Staffs are very friendly. However, breakfast taste still have room to improve.

Absolutely worth every penny! The private onsen and the public foot bath exceeded all my expectations. Makoda (I hope I got her name right—if not, my apologies) treated my wife and me like royalty. The customer service was truly exceptional.

The private bath/ onsen in our room on the balcony set this property above many others. The area is great and is central to many of the Kyoto sights. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again next time we visit Kyoto.

I wish I stayed for another night as 1 night is too short. The private bath is a must! I am not used to public baths so it's so nice relaxing in the comfort of your own room and getting a view of Kyoto. Do check out the public baths, the view (garden versus city view) alternates each day between the men and women's bath.

Glad I picked this hotel

Immaculate room. Professional staff. VIP treatment. Separate entrance/exit to the hotel was a plus. Having a private onsen bath in the room was fabulous. The variety of free drinks in the fridge was very nice. Upstairs Terrace with foot bath and a complimentary drink was thumbs up. Good shopping and food choices around hotel. Enjoyed my stay here.

From checking in to checking out, our stay in Sora Niwa Bettei is perfect in all aspects (room condition, location, breakfast, and most of all, the impeccable service of all of the hotel staff). This hotel is the epitome of Japanese hospitality.

With the exception of a few things, overall our stay was very good. The onsen in the room was the highlight. Also the coin laundry facility was a blessing. Staff was attentive and kudos to Musumu who did a great job checking us in and explaining everything. As for the room, it was nice but the layout was quirky with too many doors impeding movement. The layout caused the room to be smaller than it looked in hotel photos. No place to put clothes so we had to basically live out of our suitcases for five days. Also, the cleaning crew for some reason turned off the main power switch after cleaning the last two days we were there. So when we came back to the room after being out all day, the refrigerator had gotten warm. We mentioned it to staff but never got an explanation as to why it happened. If we stay again would have to get a bigger room which of course would cost more. Highly recommend the Soraniwa Bettei.
