四条河原町温泉　空庭テラス京都

非常に清掃の行き届いた綺麗なお部屋で、テラスや温泉からの眺めも最高でした。
スタッフのホスピタリティにも優れ、繁華街からすぐ近くの立地で少し贅沢なお値段かなとも思いましたが、宿泊後はむしろかなりお値打ちな宿だと感じました！
京都の常宿にしたいくらいです。

Very comfortable for an inner city hotel. Very convenient for almost everything you might want to do during a short stay in Kyoto. The rooftop bar is beautifully located and the onsen are well worth using after a long day of walking.

Petit bémol concernant notre chambre qui donnait sur un mur et la chambre était donc très sombre.

Soraniwa is a very relaxing hotel with traditional Japanese amenities. The onsens are lovely & were rejuvenating. The staff was friendly & helpful. Robes & slippers are provided by the hotel. I would definitely recommend Soraniwa in Kyoto!

We had a great stay at the hotel, lovely staff, great location and the hotel is overall very nice. It’s a privilege to have access to an Onsen and the footpath on the terrace with the view. Strong recommendation!

Stunning hotel

Hotel was brilliant, loved the way the room was styled. We didn’t end up using our free drinks as we were out all day but appreciated the thought! Staff were really helpful - we had to make a phone call and the receptionist called for us in Japanese. Great location, handy for Gion but also the hub of Kyoto and close to the shops.

Parfait pour visiter Kyoto

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel et nous avons vraiment apprecié son toit terrasse avec vue sur Kyoto et un verre offert chaque jour. Le onsen est aussi superbe avec vue sur la ville un jour sur deux (alternance homme/femme). Le petit-déjeuner (bento) est très bon mais malheureusement c'est le même chaque jour. La chambre est belle mais un peu étroite, elle est vite encombrée avec les valises. L'hôtel est idéalement situé dans Kyoto pour profiter des quartiers de Gion et de Pontocho.

The area was very convenient and was close to many train stations and tourist attraction. The hot bath and rooftop bar was definitely a great way to end the days in Kyoto! The front desk was also very helpful with luggage delivery.

This was an excellent hotel for the price. Well run and efficient check-in. Liked: rooftop bar with view and footbath (and two free drink tickets per day), well appointed rooms, onsen baths including one with outdoor view of sunrise), good amenities in room and in reception area. Only recommendation would be more dining options.

Amazing stay in kyoto

Stayed here for 6 nights. Amazing service, hot springs were a delight. Free coffee and sweet treats in the hotel lobby. staff at reception were super helpful. Rooftop bar was a good time and amazing views over gion. Rooms were comfy! Definitely would stay again!

I would definitely stay here again. Sorry it was only for one day. Staff was very friendly. Arrived early before checkin and they accept my bags so we can go sightseeing. Hotel and room very clean and safe. Very good location close to train station, great shopping area and close attractions. Highly recommend!

Great place with amazing views

This place was amazing! Super clean and nice. The terrace was an amazing place to wind down after being out all day and had an included drink for each night you’re there. Will absolutely stay here again if we come back to Kyoto!

Highly recommend!

Foot spa at the roof top and happy hour (4-6:30pm) is a perfect way to wrap up your day after a long day of walking and before you head out for dinner.
There are two open-air spa areas, which get swapped for female and male daily.
I was surprised their coffee machine has so many drink options and random fact- carbonated water out of the machine was surprisingly really good and refreshing! They also provide free popsicles.

The Best Kyoto Rooftop Hotel

My absolute favorite hotel during our 14 day/5 hotel Japan trip. The location is perfect, very close to the train station and hidden charming bars and restaurants of Kyoto. Easy walk to Higashiyama Ward and Kiyomizu-Dera Temple (both so lovely and breathtaking!). The rooftop is the real magic here, watch a sunrise or sunset and you won’t believe your eyes as the colors change. Complimentary drink service every night was a great way to kick off our evenings. Costa provided for cold weather. Drink a hot coffee on the rooftop while soaking your feet in the foot bath and plan out your daily adventure. Bed was the comfiest we had in Japan. Shower and bathroom was perfection. Provided face cleaners and oils were top notch. There is a daily bath fee at the hotel you will need to pay when checking in so keep that in mind. Will always stay here when in Kyoto!

Top notch hotel in a great part of Kyoto. The rooms are impeccably clean and luxurious. The rooftop terrace provides a beautiful view of the city and the onsen is beyond relaxing. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. From the welcome drinks on the rooftop bar with a foot bath after a long day walking around Kyoto, to the exceptional staff, this was a great choice.
After we left the hotel and were on our way back to Tokyo, we realized we had left our valuables in the room’s safe. The hotel contacted us and were able to overnight our things to us in Tokyo, for which we are very grateful!
Great location and centrally located.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Rooms were very nice, extremely small but as expected for the area. The rooftop bar with foot bath sounded like a gimmick at first but ended up being really nice! Onsen was great, too, and the tattoo covers offered at reception were very convenient.

It was a little annoying that breakfast needed to be ordered so far in advance, and the laundry facilities weren’t great. The provided yukata were pretty small but a nice touch; they offer a larger size if you ask, but even that is on the smaller side.

Extremely walkable to see many nearby attractions. So many great restaurants in the area. Staff were so friendly and kind. The rooftop bar with foot bath onsen and great views was such a treat and they offer a free drink ticket per guest per day. We were up there every day. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. 👌 **Please note: the onsen in the hotel has make and female separate areas, no swimsuits allowed and no tattoos. (Cover up stickers can be purchased from hotel)
