Very good affordable hotel close in Dontonburi!
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially prior to check in when I contacted them.
The hotel rooms are small and compact so if you have large bags worth noting.

Joytel is good

The rooms was small but adequate. All spaces in the hotel were clean. Note that they do not clean the room unless your stay is longer than 4 nights. The cafe area was very nice and a welcoming space to spend time with family in the afternoon and evening. Location is ideal with lots of restaurant options in walking distance. I would stay again.

Great hotel in a fab location

Excellent location, very clean, new, comfy beds. Next to the river and close to the action, but quiet soundproofed rooms, and a little cafe space they looked out over the river.

The breakfast was fantastic and completely worth it in my opinion. It has a beautiful view outside and the door access to the outside was very cool as well.
This hotel is great, I highly recommend it and I really enjoyed my stay here.

Great location but compact

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a longer trip. The hotel was located very close to the Main Street of Dontonbori with plenty of food and shopping options.

Rooms were clean and towels changed daily but rooms not cleaned daily.

They were typical Japanese rooms with not a lot of room but plenty of places to put luggage etc.

A great location for exploring Osaka. Would recommend Hobo bar and Hedonist for a nice experience / cocktail

Usually don't bother with reviews. But this place was exceptional. High level of English. Very clean rooms. Very comfortable breaky room and view from the lounge/breaky room. Right on the canal. They arranged Yamato for my suitcases to Tokyo. Elevators not congested. (smaller hotel) laundry was easy and machines lock w a pin code and have detergent within the machine :) just everything was great for me. (Canadian from BC)

You get what you pay for

Location was convenient to dotonburi but the room had a faint cigarette smell despite it being a non smoking hotel - probably my biggest issue given I’m sensitive to cigarette smoke. Reception on arrival was not extremely friendly, they don’t have a lot of amenities (which is fine for the price point), and these rooms will be on the smaller side of what you’ll find. The luggage needs to be stored under the bed to really make the space work, and the shower/bath faucet is also used for the sink ( to give an idea of overall size)

Perfect location for exploring Osaka, just a few mins from vibey Dotonbori and Namba station which connects to everywhere. The rooms are very small, even by Japan standards, but clean, functional and safe. Even though it’s a busy area, it wasn’t noisy and the blackout blinds in the room were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

When we first checked into our room we noticed that there was a lot of hair and food crumbs on the floor, so we asked at the concierge if someone could come vacuum for us. They said no, but we could switch rooms (probably too late in the day for housekeeping - all good). The new room didn't have as dirty of a floor, but I wouldn't call it super clean (some visible dust, grimy bathroom floor), and the shower didn't drain. We think the concierge did whatever they could to help, but the housekeeping just isn't very thorough, and it's not an extremely cheap hotel so we wouldn't ever stay there again.

Fairly small but exceptionally clean, convenient, and just what we needed. Tv is able to show you traffic, weather, and if the hotel kitchen or laundry area is busy so you can plan accordingly. Onsite Laundry very helpful and easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks!!!

Moderne og sentralt

Font og moderne hotell midt i party distriktet. Kan anbefales. Men bestill med river view. De andre rommene ser rett i en murvegg. Og rommene er små

Men bra rom og a/c. Kul detalj at man kan sjekke på tv om vaskemaskin er ledig og hvor mange det er i frokost området

Location is great , close to everything the stores and restaurants. 10 minutes to the train station, very convenient. The only thing bad about this hotel was the size of our room very small.

Room was small but I knew that before and picked for river view. The size was perfect for me, one traveler with one bag. I believe it works be good for two with carry on size suitcases.
The twin beds were over size = perfect.
All good and staff very helpful.
I made one mistake - coffee machine downstairs is closed 5-11. Looking for coffee.

Nunca más. Un horror

My god! Me dieron una habitación con una ventana y un muro en el ventana. Un horror!!!! Cuidado con esto! No me gustó nada este hotel. Me equivoqué. Me fui a otro hotel. Los hay muchos mejores y a igual precio.
