結婚記念日で利用しました。夫婦で一人ずつホテルの前で写真を撮っていたら、わざわざホテルの方が外に出てきて、夫婦二人の写真を撮ってくださいました。それ以外にも、丁寧なご対応をしていただき、良い結婚記念日の旅行となりました。

宿泊施設は綺麗でとても快適に過ごす事が出来ました。徒歩圏内にはコンビニや飲食店がないので事前に必要なものを調べてから行った方が良いと思いますが、車の行き交う音や人混みのザワザワした声もなく、駅までの送迎もあって、避暑地で過ごす場所としてはとっても良いと思いました。また利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

派手さや豪華さはないものの、清潔感があり、必要なものがきちんと揃った快適なホテルです。特に心に残ったのはフロントスタッフの対応。チェックイン・チェックアウト時はもちろん、出入りのたびに必ず笑顔で挨拶してくれ、その丁寧で温かな接客に何度も癒されました。観光で日光を訪れる際、安心して過ごせる拠点で、比較的リーズナブルな価格で泊まれるので、おすすめできるホテルです。スタッフの小さな心配りが、滞在をより豊かなものにしてくれました。

築浅で綺麗なホテルを探しココに決めました。
マリオットさんなので不安は無かったです。
ホテル周辺に何もない事は分かっていたので到着前に買い物をしてチェックインしました。
お部屋にバスタブが有れば最高でしたが、使い勝手の良い間取り、全館清潔、寝心地の良いベッド。1階に持ち込んだ食事を温めたりするコーナーがあり、シンクやカウンターがあり広くて清潔でとても使いやすかったです。
車寄せがあるので雨の日でも安心です。
今回、予定していた半分しか観光出来なかったのでまた来年日光へ行く予定です。その時もまた宿泊したいと思います。

空気清浄機とアルコール消毒液をお部屋にお願いしました。とてもクリーンに過ごせました。
タオル掛けがあるとなおよかったと思います。
フリードリンクも何時でも使用でき買いに行くことできなかったので助かりました。次回も宿泊したいと思いました。

The hotel is new and clean and the room is large. The staff was not very helpful and they do not have a reliable shuttle service even though the website says they do. The shuttle makes 3 trips a day for 5 people each time. So they can only shuttle 15 people a day to town or pick up 15 people a day. It is not much of a service so you should plan to rely on the bus which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

FOI UMA ÓTIMA ESTADIA, Quartos limpos e confortáveis com camas macias.
Atendentes muito gentis e educados como todo o Japão.
Somente o deslocamento para o Hotel é um pouco difícil devido a escassez de transporte publico, mas o hotel oferece alguns horários para ida/volta da estação com poucas vagas.
Taxi disponível que resolve essa situação.
Café e chás oferecidos pelo hotel. Forno par esquentar a refeição, pois o hotel não tem refeitório e café da manhâ.
Mas voltaria a me hospedar nesse lindo Hotel.

Fortune to receive an upgrade to a suite. Lovely hotel in a pretty, rural setting. We visited late Autumn, looks like a great base in winter for skiing. Very helpful staff and fabulous buffet!

Friendly staff and decent sized rooms. Has its own parking lot so that was handy as the location is a bit out from the main area but they also have a shuttle bus. Basic amenities but it was enough for what we needed.

Excellent, cozy hotel in Nikko. Comfortable room and bedding. Very clean and well designed. Nice lounge area and a great selection of quality curated food you can reheat on the kitchen area. I wish the Marriott’s in the US were as nice. Staff was terrific. Several good restaurants are 5-10 minutes walking distance and the main sights are a pretty 30 minute walk but taxis and buses are also available.

It was an excellent hotel with helpful staff and clean, nice rooms. The location, however, is not very convenient if you don’t have a car- taxis are not always readily available and it’s a 20 minute walk from the hotel to dining and bus options.

Well, it’s under Marriott brand but the facility is inconviently located with limited shuttle between nikko city center which also all busisiness closes early in the evening. This business should indicate it’s more convenient, friendly for people travel with car then using the public transportation. Limited shuttle between the hotel to Nikko station offers three in the morning and three in tue afternoon/evening with limited seating.

I travel light and use the laundry facility to clean, some of the washer in Japan has detergent feeder but it was not indicated on the hotel information or in the laundry room. When I asked the front desk staff, he elegantly said it’s written all over in the laundry room. I went back to look for the sign says washer has auto detergent feeder and I was able located the sign written in Japanese “detergent” included in top of the washing machine lid. With the lid opened as most unused washing machine, the notice is obscured behind the lid.

I don’t think some of the staff actually done any traveling themselves to experience the needs of the travelers.

Reception staff, especially the Supervisor when we checked in (10/18/25) was not accommodating. We were just requesting for upper floor when she said “ you need your VIP guest number before we can even discuss your request. For a small room worth almost $500.00 you can’t even request for a higher room? VERY UNSAT Customer Service. If I can rate her customer service lower than Very Poor!! I would. She broke my highest expectation for Japanese customer service!!

We loved this hotel. We were particularly impressed with the kindness of the staff. Sujawa, in particular, greeted us with warmth and made sure we were immediately comfortable after coming into the hotel on a very hot day. She also explained the local bus service and allowed us to check in earlier than anticipated, which made our day in Nikko so much easier and more enjoyable. The room was perfect and very clean, and the coffee machine in the main kitchen area was much appreciated. Would highly recommend this hotel.

10 out of 10 !!

A truly perfect stay at the Fairfield. You cannot fault this hotel and service, the reception staff were so friendly and go out of their way to help or provide advice. Location is about 5 mins drive out of Nikkō, so too far to walk from train station if you are considering. Room was modern and very comfortable, great a/c which is important in this hot summer climate. There are some food options available for sale at the hotel and a small kitchen area to heat food as well as a complimentary tea and coffee machine. Good self serve laundry area too. Ample free parking is available if you are hiring a car. Nikkō and the surrounding area are truly beautiful, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend this hotel as a great option.

프론트 직원의 접객 태도나 룸 컨디션은 훌륭합니다. 다만 호텔 내에 레스토랑이 없어 식사는 본인이 준비하거나 밖에서 먹어야 하고 객실 내에 욕조가 없어 샤워만 할 수 있습니다. 로비에 안락한 소파와 테이블이 있고 전자렌지 등이 구비되어 있어 식사를 할 수 있고 커피머신이 있어 아주 잘 활용하였습니다.

위치는 도부닛코역에서 떨어져 있어 택시를 이용하는 것을 추천합니다.(1,000엔) 호텔이 오르막에 있어 걸어가기에는 약간 힘이 들 수 있습니다. 호텔에서 오전(9~11시, 호텔-도부닛코역), 오후(18~20시, 도부닛코역-호텔) 각각 3번의 셔틀을 운행하나 승합자로 좌석이 많지 않아 미리 예약을 추천합니다.

ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I HAVE STAYED AT!

Travel often and use Marriott often, but the quality of this place & the customer service surpassed all others. You will not miss that it doesn’t have a hot spring or pool…and the lower rate was an extra incentive (but the new, updated, incredible comfort was 5 star quality)

Great choice of hotel for an overnight trip to Nikko. The hotel was new, modern, clean and well equipped. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower was powerful and the towels were soft. I was very happy with this hotel and would highly recommend it.

We loved the wonderful staff, extremely comfortable bed, spacious & efficient room layout and amenities. The only downside was no restaurant or fresh food available onsite. On days when many of the local restaurants were closed, it was difficult to get sufficient meals.

Very new hotel, lovely bathroom and great laundry facilities as there are separate washers and dryers. I did not enjoy the beds as they were quite soft and I also struggled with the pillows. Staff were really helpful.

Very comfortable but no restaurant

A very comfortable hotel although there was no restaurant and the town was half an hour walk away. One morning we had a fairly average frozen cheese sandwich.

Having said that the service was excellent and the room very comfortable with a lovely bed and shower.

I picked this hotel because they advertised free shuttle from the train station as it is an uphill trek. The hotel sent an email AFTER my free cancellation period stating no shuttle was available - the web site was not updated to reflect this.

Very clean facility and helpful staff. Minimalist formula with no food services or breakfast on site. Somewhat remote from town and not much to do or eat around it. Car definitely needed to get in and out as taxi services are very sketchy at best.
