お風呂が楽しめる宿

静かで落ち着いて過ごしたい方には、良い場所。昔ながらの古いホテルだが、部屋は、綺麗に改装されていたので気持ちよく過ごせた。
食事は、和牛の陶板焼きを事前にメールで追加して、お腹がいっぱいになった。お肉も柔らかく美味しかった。
風呂は、隣の温泉施設かホテルおかだが利用できる。温泉施設は、連絡通路ですぐに行ける。日帰り湯の客もいたが、そう混んでいなく、屋根付きの露天や寝湯などもあり楽しめた。下のフロアには、マッサージ機やマンガルーム。トレーニング用のサイクルマシンなどがあった。雨の時、連絡通路が滑りやすいと感じた。
問い合わせのメールも丁寧に対応していただき、接客も良かった。

朝食は和洋食のバイキング、夕飯は天ぷらや肉料理、刺身、小鉢など和食よりのメニューでした。
写真に掲載されている温泉はとても開放感があり、サウナも広くて大変満足出来ます。
貸切温泉はいっぱいで予約が取れませんでした。
共同の温泉施設はタトゥー禁止となっていて、外国人の宿泊の方も多く、貸切温泉も枠が無いとなるとせっかく温泉に入りに行ったのに部屋のシャワーを使うしかなく...。
インバウンドに合わせて、もう少し寛大になればいいなと期待しています。

サイトでは箱根ユネッサンまで車で15分とありましたが、実際は30分ほどかかりました。

全体的にとてもすごしやすかったので、また利用したいです。

雨が降っていたので、「箱根の森おかだ」から「湯の里おかだ」への通路は備え付けのスリッパだと滑って転倒する恐れがありました。
雨の日はスリッパ底に溝がついているタイプのスリッパがいいと思います。

車で行きましたがホテルに入る入口が判らず上のほうまで行きようやく入ることができました。わかりやすい大きな看板をつけてもらえるとありがたいです。

宿に到着時、丁寧なお迎えがあったのですが予約名を伝えると宿を間違えたみたいでした。近くにホテルおかだがあって間際らしいので注意です。名前が似てるだけでなく、ホテルおかだの温泉も利用できます。建物はホテルおかだの方が数倍良さそうでした。ただし、こちらの部屋も広いし温泉は隣の施設を利用でき、また食事も口コミにあったような居酒屋料理っていう感じではなく悪くはなく、コスパは良いと思います。和室でしたが自分で布団を敷く方式で部屋にはトイレとバスルーム等も付いていて快適に過ごせました。

とにかくガッカリした。
民宿みたいで、夕飯は定食みたいであるし、お風呂も、外部からのお客様ぎ一杯でうるさくて落ち着かなかった。
夕飯を食べてとまりをキャンセルしていつも行く他のホテルを予約した夜8時頃帰ってきました。
2度と行きたいとは思わない❗️

食事や風呂は別棟にあり、上がったり下がったり、履物を脱いだり履いたりと目まぐるしい感じがしました。空調の効きも今ひとつでテレビも小さくて見づらいと感じました。スタッフは丁寧な対応でしたが、もう少し改善して頂けると有り難いです。

HAKONE

This hotel is located close to main HAKONE spa. It has two buildings. One is hotel, the other is SPA and restaurant. SPA is perfect, very relaxing, wide and having outdoor SPA. It has many stocks of Manga(comix) and massage chair. You can enjoy them. The dinner is typical Japanese style, Sashimi(raw fish), Tenpura etc. Its quality is good for me (I am Japanese). A breakfast is buffet style and you can enjoy typical Japanese foods. They have shuttle bus to main part of Hakone spa. It is very convenient. If you want to visit around wide Hakone area, you can use local Hakone bus. They have many special discount like one day pass. Please ask at hotel.

温泉の種類が多く、大変満足できました。特に、熱い湯、ぬるい湯があり、外国からきた友人にも好評でした。夕食・朝食付きのプランでしたが、夕食もバイキングに出来ればもっとよかったと思います。

部屋、食事などは値段相応のホテル。
部屋は普通に掃除されていますが、やはり古さは仕方ない。
食事は、内容はいいですが冷めてます。あったかいともっと良かった。

食事はイマイチでした

部屋は快適で、隣の音が聞こえるなどの問題もありませんでした。湯の里のお湯は若干塩素臭がするようにも思いましたが、お風呂上りには肌がつるつるになっていたので、お湯の質自体はいいのだと思います。残念だったのは食事です。確かに天ぷらは揚げたてでしたが、天ぷらとお刺身以外の料理は、作ってからかなり時間が経っているように感じました。また、量も少ない。高校生の息子、アラフィフの私ともに、部屋に帰ってから、お菓子をポリポリ食べました。これなら、素泊まりにして、当日食事処で定食などを注文したほうが良かったかもしれません。

Smelled bad like mold/mildew, woke up coughing from it. It’s hard to walk to with limited shuttle service. No warning about 45 degree incline to get to the hotel. Didn’t get the full ryokan experience because the futons looked suspicious. The area is pretty would try a different hotel nearby.

Great 1 Night Stay!

The hotel was very nice and quiet. It was clean and check in was pretty easy. You get to use an onsen as part of the hotel and there is also a shuttle that takes you down to the train station.

This was the most authentic japanese stay. I am glad I stayed here but we did have a miscommunication but ended up staying in a amazing Japanese Ryokan style extra large family room (without a shower). There is a swimming pool and NO lazy river. But mid July (summer) the swimming pool was closed and completely green and the kids were dissapointed. I also would not suggest walking there with suitcases its on a hill and it's a fair way - just get a taxi for $6-$10 Us dollars for a 8min drive from Hakone-tumoto station - its a nice spot overlooking the valley. Close enough to see hakone as a great base. But the food included for dinner was amazing and a big tray of japanese style selections and they catered for the kids too. The breakfast was also very authentic and they have some western food options too. Our room came with kimonos for the whole family that you wear to the Hot Baths (main reason we booked here) so you go next door to the spa wearing your kimono and its a great quality hot bath with female and male sides as you are in your birthday suit. The kids had to be respectful but they loved the baths. We did this every day and so didnt need another shower. There were some frustrations but overall the stay was a great memory.

溫泉旅館

飯店距離箱根湯本車站的確是有些距離，還好我們是開車載著行李進入飯店，建議從箱根湯本車站搭乘計程車到飯店，如果是用步行的拉著行李...我想除了路程及坡度外、加上太陽一定是非常辛苦的，日本的溫泉飯店多數都有一些歷史了，所以飯店不算太新，房間塌塌米及溫泉設施算是保持得讓我還算可以接受，櫃台大廳不算太氣派，但是以支出的費用來說，是可以接受的...櫃台前面有微波爐可以使用，免費停車場使用方便。

Amazing onsen hotel!

I stayed here with my two small kids on the ground floor traditional room and it was awesome! The front desk stocked us with towels, and yukata for our stay. Breakfast was delicious, traditional, and the quality was great. The staff is so nice! The area is perfect for walking into town, or driving to the sites. We will def return!

A but farther out from Hakone-Yumoto station and rooms are a bit dated, but staff are very nice and helpful. Private family onsen was small but a great experience. On-site breakfast was much better than expected and the connected restaurant was very convenient too. Would stay again.

Great onsen experience. The hotel rooms are old and may need some updating, but they are clean. The outdoor onsen is great. The hotel is connecting to another hotel and they can provide shuttle service. The only thing I am wondering is that there is no lazy river observed which was listed in the property details. The half board meals are awesome especially the traditional Japanese style dinner. We stayed for two nights and had two beautiful dinners.

Wonderful stay and great onsen!

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is a part of a bigger hotel, with 3 buildings, and I didn’t know that when booking. It means the onsen is situated in the other hotels but that doesn’t matter. It is not a far walk and I’m definitwly hooked on the Onsen experience. They have a big onsen for men, one for women and also one for families. The room I have booked was a traditional room with a futon and it was a great experience. I slept really well on the futon on the floor.
One thing that the hotel could give information about is how to get there using the elevator. It’s situated hign on a hill and it was very hard to walk from the station with luggage, so either take a taxi for about 1000Yen or you can go through the lower hotel, take the elevator to 8th floor and then take a escalator up to the hotel. It’s difficult to explain but they could maybe send a map or have a map on their website.

I loved my time here. I stayed in a traditional Japanese style room which was a great experience. The view from my room was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful and my room was clean. There’s a shuttle bus that goes from the hotel to Hakone-Yumoto station but I didn’t use it so can’t comment but that is helpful as 3/4 of the walk to the hotel is fine and easy but the last 1/4 of the way is a pretty steep incline. I was only carrying a backpack so it wasn’t bad. The highlight though was the onsen - such an amazing experience to be in the hot springs at nighttime.

For international visitors,
If you desire to international food in this hotel, it seems not possible. At least breakfast solely is Japanese dishes.
It is really difficult to find someone knows English. At least the receptionist should try to learn some English to give some basic information to visitors, at least Shuttle bus location or other common stuff.
-For shuttle bus, one way costs 100 yen to center, it is not free.
-Hot springs is fine, but you need to check these rules before enter the onset.

Disappointing

Check in was alright. Room was far from what we expected andd we were quite disappointed especially for what we had paid for. We had to pay extra for the family onsen and at the price we paid, it should have been included. When we checked out we wanted to take a cab direct to Odawara station instead of taking the bus but the woman with whom we had checked out was of no help and very rude.
The only positive thing about this hotel is its onsen and restaurant.
I do not recommend it.

This property is connected to the much nicer Hotel Okada. It makes it seem like you chose the wrong hotel and you were so close. Plus you have to trek through Hotel Okada with your luggage up a hill to Okadanomori. On the plus side you can use the Onsen that is in Hotel Okada which was really nice. The breakfast, one can probably do better elsewhere. As you walk through the hall it does smell of smoke even though you chose a non smoking room.

Great onsen hotel

We stayed only for a night. The staff was helpful, transport is organized to bring you close to the bus stop. The onsen was very nice, well kept and not at all crowded when we stayed in September. There is also a restaurant im the hotel. Recommend.

Family room mixed western and jap style was more comfortable than expected. Big rooms and onsen was really good with many outdoor baths. Food was really great too! Shuttle bus service was great too! Service of front desk staff could be friendlier though, otherwise really good stay!

Lovely stay.

Lovely traditional ryokan for our family of 6. Nothing fancy but just what we wanted in experience. Comfortable futons in tatami room. Lovely hot spring baths and very good dinner and breakfast was included.
