ロハスのためか、冷蔵庫にスイッチが付いていて、それがよく見ないと気づかないので、入れておいたビールがぬるくなった。
また、標準で設置されている枕が硬すぎる。フロントに替えの枕があるが、それを標準にした方が良い。
独特の工夫があるのかもしれないが、すこし戸惑います。

天気も悪かったせいか9Fの部屋でしたがWi-Fiはとてもつながりにくかったです。

便利です

上野駅から徒歩5分程度の場所。
コンビニなどは少し歩く必要あるが概ね問題ないレベル。朝食もコロナを意識してお弁当を準備して下さり、非常に有り難く頂きました。

上野駅から近いので上野や浅草を観光されるかたにはいいかもしれません。部屋は狭いのは仕方ないですね。スタッフの皆さんは、対応よくよかったです。

We had a nice room, the AC was excellent, the breakfast had different varieties of food each day. Walkable to the eating areas of Ueno. Close to the train station too.

Room extremely small, the bed was not ready,hall very warm so air conditioning not working, area around very smelly, sheets dirty, food horrific that got us sick, reception personal did not even greet us when we arrived. I would not recommend this place at all

Stayed 7/2025. Very good for the cost. The breakfast buffet was generous and also good for the cost. The room is very small and the view is nothing special, so know what you're getting into. The AC was very good and user-controllable, but it does take at least 30 min to cool the room. There was very little noise from other units. Check in was no problem even though we knew little Japanese. The only complaint was there was mold or dust on the bottom of the windowshade. Everything else was very good, considering the cost. I would stay here again, if I needed to be near Ueno Station, which you is a train stop from Narita Airport, and is close to Tokyo Station.

The cleanliness of the hotel is unacceptable .  Upon door opens a strong  musky smell.  The window is wet with water dripping down in the morning (if you close curtain). Ventilation is very bad in the room.
The room is very dark.  The washroom has a strong pee smell upon door open.

The location is far from the train station. The gate is only at the south side of the station only.  Form gate exit, a long walk inside station without AC and no shops at all.  Do not trust google. The station looks close to the hotel for a 5-minute walk. But it's not. 12 minutes walk at least after exited gate.

Poor customer services, requested for replace blanket or duvet cover (semlls & yellow cover) upon arrival. I bring blanket down to the reception on July 4, and refused by a staff,  he asked us to sleep with the dirty blanket for one night.

Security:  I don't feel safe as they use password lock, pin to enter.  No hotel access card system.

Common area: The smoking area found  rats almost every night (stay 6 nights there)and also cockroach.  Same experience with another google vistor.

I have been to many hotels in Japan, and this is the only one i will give a low review. The best part is they offer free breakfast   I would not recommend this hotel, 1. location far from station exit, residential area, long walk.   No shops around within 10 min.  2. Cleaness is the major concern.  Rooms smell.  Rats and cockroaches seem multiple times.

Room was average by Japanese standards (i.e. small by American standards), frosted window so no view, but otherwise just fine. I liked the keypad for room entry, no way to forget your key card (but definitely take a pic of your entry code). Lobby is a bit small for breakfast but it works. It was cool that they mixed up the breakfast options despite being a fairly budget hotel. Oh, and free booze for cocktail hour?! Amazing.

Another reviewer mentioned the pillow situation. There's like a pillow *library* right in front of you when you walk in, so it's hard to miss. You'll definitely want one, though, as the default pillow is quite, shall way say, firm.

It's a short walk from the northernmost exit from Ueno Station, but it's really close to the overpass into the park and the museums. Definitely easy to walk to all the stuff in the Ueno area, though it is a bit of a schlep to the Keisei line entrance (which is the best way to get to Narita), so maybe a bit of a tradeoff.

3人房價錢來說是便宜，房間偏細，只得一個位置可以打開全個行李箱，浴室偏細而且有異味，關門一段時間，浴室內就會有異味，懷疑是抽氣系統問題。酒店位置離JR上野10分鐘內腳程，沿途一條大直路尚算好行，另有一個問題是一定要CHECK IN日開始先會代收快遞件，處理上比較沒有彈性。總結而言，3人房間價錢合理，可以cover以上缺點，但單雙人房就可以有更多好選擇。

Super Hotel JR is ideally located within a short walking distance of Ueno Park, the zoo, and several museums. It’s also just a brief walk to shopping areas and a wide variety of restaurants.

The hotel locates not so far from JR Ueno Station(Iriya gate). There also provides good amenities and coin laundry machine. It is safe and quiet. Breakfast and drink bar(evening) are also included in hotel service.

We got triple room and when we entered the room we were shocked because it was so tiny that we had no room to walk or to move our 3 suitcases which by the way were carry on luggage. If one person had to move the other person had to sit. We had no room for anything. Breakfast was good though.

Great location! 5 min to train station. Room was small but clean. You could walk around the bed and that was it. Bed was very comfortable. Pillow situation was different. Make sure you grab one by the desk when you check in. The one in the room was uncomfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast, especially coffee and juice in the lobby. The evening Happy Hour was also nice. The women at the desk were so kind and friendly. Definitely a convenient and affordable stay!

Custo x Benefício Adequado!

O hotel é mais adequado para no máximo duas pessoas, quarto extremamente pequeno.

Oferece um café da manhã que, para ocidentais, bem restrito.

É necessário limpar o local onde se pega água e gelo, estava bem sujinho!

No geral, o hotel é limpo e a estadia foi boa! A localização é excelente, com vários restaurantes por perto!

Very easy access to Ueno Station

Very easy access to Ueno Station, a 5 minute walk at most. Convenient stores were plentiful a d easy to get to, in case you get back to the hotel after restaurants close. Simple and functional accomodations, and the staff was helpful upon my arrival. I'd stay here again easily.
