一時帰国での利用。新しくモダンな建物、中は落ち着く畳の部屋に布団で寝られ、部屋に電気ポットもあり、赤ん坊連れには最適でした。谷中銀座や懐かしい雰囲気の区域で夜は静か、駅にも近く最高の立地。また利用します！

1週間滞在しましたが全て良しの旅館です。

勝太郎旅館のご夫婦共、人柄が良く親切で、外国の方のリピートの方もおられる感じでした。外出用にルーターも有料ですが貸出しもあり助かりました。メトロは直ぐ近くにあります。
谷中商店街も直ぐに行けます。
どこに行くにも便利でした。
また東京に行く時はここに泊まりたいと思います。

全てにおいて大満足！

今回2度目の滞在です。今回はセミナー参加のため、4泊しました。ロケーション（駅近）、快適さ、備品、便利さ（コンビニ、スーパー、レストラン等）、親切な対応、全てにおいて大満足です。それでこのお値段は、ありがたいです。

利便性が高い宿

高1の息子の5日間集中講座のために滞在しました。
駅からも近いし、商店街もあり立地が良かったです。
部屋も角部屋で静かで、ゆっくり休めました。また利用したい宿です。

子どもは高評でした。

部屋は和室で子どもたちに高評でした。が、鍵が一つだったため、部屋に残る人と外出する人がいると毎回部屋をノックして中から開けてもらわないといけないので、鍵が二つあれば良いと思いました。

宿泊の翌日に東京スカイツリーを観に行きました。日暮里駅から出るバスを利用したのですが、日暮里駅や千駄木駅も近く、移動にも便利です。

谷根千ド真ん中の鉄筋コンクリート和風旅館

室内は畳敷きの普通の旅館です。鉄筋コンクリート造りで、室内にバスルームがあります。六畳間にしては高く感じるかもしれませんが、都内価格なら仕方ないです。
人気の谷根千エリアのド真ん中にあり、地下鉄千駄木駅へ徒歩3分、JR日暮里駅から徒歩8分と交通は便利です。

一時帰国中に一泊で利用しました。
久々に畳と布団でゆっくり寛げました。
ユニットタイプのバスルームですが、それなりにスペースはあるので窮屈感は全く感じませんでした。
チェックアウト後に
携帯電話を置き忘れたかも知れない（実際は別の場所にあったのですが）旨問い合わせた所、数時間後に丁寧な返答が得られて助かりました。

快適な旅館

清潔で落ち着く事ができました。和室の利用でしたが快適に宿泊でき満足です。千駄木駅から近く、また山手線も徒歩で10分くらいでしたので特別遠いという感じではありませんでした。

お湯ポットも完備しており、全然期待してなかったのに清潔で新しくコスパ最高！
とにかくまだ新しく気持ち良い
畳に布団も悪くなかったです。

都内で畳の部屋は魅力的

畳の部屋がよかったのでのんびり滞在できました。
お風呂もトイレと別で使いやすかった。
Ｗｉ－Ｆｉがうまく使えなかったのと、洗面台の引き出しが汚れていたこと、障子の裏に前のお客さんの忘れ物が置いたままなのがマイナスですが、
あとはとても快適でした。
また利用したいです。

フロント受付時間に制限はあるが、部屋は清潔で快適。畳に布団で休めるのは、外国人旅行客だけでなく、日本人ビジネスマンにもよいと思う

優しい町の優しい旅館

突然の滞在になったのですが，駅からも近く，すぐに見つけられ，近辺への移動もしやすかったです。落ち着いた雰囲気が漂う街並みで，個性的なお店も多く，もっとゆっくり滞在できればと思ったくらいでです。
優しいご夫婦で出迎えていただき，とっても暑い日だったのですが，着くとすぐに冷たいお水を出して頂き嬉しかったです。綺麗な和室の部屋の居心地も良く，のんびりと寛ぐことができました。朝食の予約をしていなかったので，内容は分かりません。

次回も利用したい宿。

宿泊客は、私以外全員外国人でした。客室は比較的清潔で、一流ホテルのような行き届いた清掃とまではいきませんが、不快感はありませんでした。浴槽は、一般的なビジネスホテルの浴槽程度の大きさでした。ホテルの客室の暗い照明が苦手なのですが、照明が明るい（昼白色？）ので、圧迫感がなく、快適にくつろぐことができました。谷中ぎんざ商店街や、アップルパイのマミーズもすぐ近くにあり、食べ物にも困りません。

駅近で小さい子供連れには最適！

私と子供たち（15歳、11歳、2歳）の4人で泊まりました。
お部屋は和室で、とってもゆったりくつろげました。小さいお子さんがいる方には、最適ではないかと思います。少し気になったのは、お風呂に溜めたお湯の抜けが悪かった点ですが、それ以外は良かったです。また利用したいと思います。

Ryokan confortable dans un quartier tranquille.
Le petit déjeuner n’est pas proposé mais Cibi café à deux pas sert d’excellents petits déjeuners. Station de métro Sendagi à côté et gare de Nipori à 10 mn à pied. Les sites à visiter sont facilement accessibles.

Excellent location- near stations, shops, restaurants/cafes, konbini, and more! All staff I encountered were very kind and capable of communicating in both Japanese and English. The Japanese style room allowed for a unique experience for foreigners, with the privacy and comfort you would expect of any hotel. I'd stay here again!

Great stay!

Room was simple but clean and easy to stay in. Close to the SENDAGI train station. Shower pressure was amazing. If you are not used to sleeping on a tatami, know that it is on the firm side. Would stay here again.

great ryokan that fulfils all expectations!

a well-run and old school ryokan that I like to take as often as I can. nice hosts, good service. location is perfect with the metro closeby, the nippori main train station etc. grocery store and convenience store in 100m distance. rooms are Japanese style ryokan with tatami mats and futon, and of course a bit on the smaller side like a ryokan typically is. everything is in good condition, clean, comfy, and as it should be.

Recommended for non allergic people

I have asthma and I could not breathe during my first night here. After requesting a vacuum cleaning of the tatami and the mattress the next day, I could breathe normally. I love the old lady who helped me promptly.
This is a good hotel for people who do not have an allergy.

조용하고 일본스러운 동네에 위치한 숙소

닛포리역에서 도보 10-11분 정도 걸리는 곳에 위치해있는데 근처에 센가기역은 3분 컷이라 여기저기 다니기 좋았어요!! 호스트 할머니께서도 엄청 친절하시고 영어도 잘 하셔서 의사소통에도 전혀 문제 없었습니다~ 다만 시설이 약간 오래돼서인지 먼지는 쪼금 있었으나 저는 크게 신경 안 쓰였어용 화장실은 냉수온수 따로 조절할 수 있어서 수압도 세고 좋았습니다!!! 드라이기 있고 여기저기 코드 많아요~ 여러모로 싸게 잘 예약한 것 같아요!

Strategically placed within reach of two subway lines and a bus station, the hotel is a great value for the money. The room is clean and big for Tokyo’s standard. The area around the hotel is calm but full of restaurants and facilities, everything you might want after a busy day in central Tokyo. I would surely come again!

I always like to stay in Yanaka, so this was in a great location. Great friendly staff that explains everything you might need to know in English. Rooms are large for the price I paid, much bigger than what I would have got at a similar priced hotel.

Hidden gem in laid back neighborhood.

Fantastic ryokan in a great neighborhood. Quiet, relaxed, and a welcome world away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of Tokyo. Mere minutes away from two different trains, which makes it a perfect spot from which to explore. Definitely for travelers looking for a more laid back side of Tokyo.

Great area of old Tokyo for walking and eating, right near community bus for transport to trains, metro to other parts of city. Quiet, traditional Japanese rooms… no frills. Staff helpful. Futons not the most comfortable I have slept on. Internet is a bit slow and spotty.

Perfect stay!

nice, small, cute ryokan, exactly like what I was hoping for. Very clean, has all things you need like a TV, fridge, hair dryer, kettle. very clean. good condition. very helpful owners, very likeable people. best location: a grocery store and a 247 convenient store within 50m distance. Nippori station just 5-10min walk away: perfect to get to Narita airport, but also to jump onto the yamanote line which brings you to the other major stations like Ueno, Tokyo central, Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, or Shibuya. On the other side of Nippori a number of restaurants with a few notable ramen places

Great location and comfortable room

Great location, quiet at night but close to the quaint shopping street, cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and rail links.
The room was comfortable, lovely powerful shower and good heating for a chilly January stay.
Friendly owner with great English.
I recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

hotel excentré , environnement banlieue moche , rapport qualité/ prix trés mauvais . A Tokyo éviter les Ryokans , choisir un grand hotel dans un quartier vivant : Ginza , Roppongi , Omote- sando ....selon son gout , pour 70€ de plus nous avons déménager et trouver un 5 etoiles tout confort à Minato-Ku a cheval entre les quartiers de commerce , de vie , de musées .....
Tokyo est une ville de très grands hotels en quantite importante et il faut saisir les opportunités de remplissage et donc pas forcement réserver trop tôt a l’avance

Our first time in Nippori area. Really nice and not too crowded compared to other areas in Tokyo. JR is a long uphill walk but subway is only a couple of blocks away. Lots of small restaurants nearby as well as convenient stores. And boutique shops, focus is on cats!

距离日暮里车站或西日暮里车站都步行十分钟，坐山手线到哪都很方便。旅馆对面就是711早餐都是在这解决的，店员全部中国人太好了，帮了很大忙了，介绍有价值的路线及景点。旅馆清洁度还好，每天更换。主人不够热情但入住时会交代清楚。

Bonne expérience

Hôtel de style Ryokan avec lits futons très confortables. Hôtel très calme et très bien situé par rapport aux métros (2 lignes proches) dans un quartier typique ancien avec nombreux restaurants et boutiques à proximité. Bref, un très bon choix pour une petite immersion dans le Japon d'autrefois.

Un excellent choix pour un séjour touristique

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce Ryokan reposant, au calme, placé dans un quartier qui n'est certes pas le coeur névralgique de Tokyo mais c'est l'intérêt: on est au calme, de petites rues piétonnes sillonnent la ville, pas de buildings, peu de voitures, le métro est très proche, et ce quartier est notre préféré de Tokyo pour y résider: tranquille, très mignon, proche de restaurants délicieux et abordables.

Excellent service and location in a charming neighbourhood in the heart of Tokyo. Very close to shops and public transport, with an express train to Narita airport available within 10 minutes’ walk. Room was clean and fairly modern yet still felt traditionally Japanese as you would expect from a ryokan. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Friendly hosts, wonderful information about the neighborhood, including a detailed English map with all the local shops, little library of guide books, etc. Umbrellas, bikes available for use in the neighborhood. Lovely, "old Tokyo" neighborhood. Very close and convenient to Nippori Station, which is on the line of the Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport.

Séjour très agréable

Zone calme, on se sent vite comme chez « soi » au sein de l annex katsutaro, pour ma part un petit temps d adaptation pour dormir sur un futon mais je l avais choisi en connaissance de cause voulant vivre une expérience « traditionnelle ». On est à 8 min de la station nippori et delà on peu aller quasi n importe ou en moins de 30 min des quartiers de Tokyo à voir. Je le recommande sans hésiter et j y retournerai.

A pleasant ryokan in a nice neighbourhood of Tokyo

Our room was quiet and clean and a bit on the spacious for Japanese standards. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the woman spoke a decent amount of English. You can rent bikes cheap. This ryokan is located in Yanaka, a charming neighbourhood of Tokyo to explore, peaceful, with little houses and temples everywhere. The only downside for me was western breakfast only. Will stay there again when we fly out of Tokyo. 4.5/5

Lovely and cosy family run inn. Owners are helpful, giving useful information about the local area. Great location (near Sendagi subway and Nippori train station) and very good value. Room is simple, big by Tokyo standards, clean and has everything you would need.

一種在東京有家放鬆的感覺的旅店

旅館主人親切，英文溝通流利，維護狀況佳，整潔乾淨。
鄰日式傳統徒步區市街，有蠻多趣味的老店。

This is our third stay as we love the Yanaka area and this hotel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. It is about 10 mins walk to nippori station for rail / airport and 5 mins walk to sendagi metro station which is easy to use. Rooms have tatami floor with Japanese style bedding and own western style bathrooms. Only issue was a slightly squeaky bathroom floor. We hired bikes from tokyo bike just up the road to cycle around Yanaka and Ueno Park. Good eateries nearby include Hagi cafe and CIBI cafe as well as kabaya bakery. Would recommend if you are looking for private, comfortable affordable accommodation.

A Springboard to Enjoy a Modern Tradition in Tokyo

Annex Katsutaro Ryokan is home to Japanese modern traditional comfort available at valuable price, but the quality is excellent. It stands out of a crowd and much better than staying at some capsule hotels and also better than some 3-star hotels at this price range. I stayed in a Single Room, it's so nice, perfect, meticulous, comfort, and more spacious than some 3-star hotels' that I experienced in Tokyo.

Quiet retreat when Tokyo overwhelms

Annex was great!
