The hotel was very pleasant! The towels were clean (most hotels I stay in the towels smell ...), the room was big, everything was clean and working well. Staff was very nice.and helpful. I liked the little tea room at the entrance a lot - it was beautiful and you could relax there with a tea and meet other people. I stronlgy recommend the hotel.

Staff were kind and nice. Room was spacious and clean. When I entered my room, I saw a roach in the room and I found it again died in the bathroom. Sorry for that.

防音が悪い

新しいホテルのようで、部屋も設備もとても清潔で綺麗でした。しかしながら、部屋の壁が薄いのか、隣の部屋の声がかなり響いてきました。
フロントの前に、小さな休憩所のような場所があって、コーヒーやお茶を無料でいただきながら寛げます。ただ、チェックインの際に全く説明がなく、利用できなかったのが残念です。

Everything was amazing, except the main bed, which was very firm. The staff were very helpful and assisted us with all our enquiries. Great location, loads of restaurants and shops nearby which was great.

Beautiful and spacious by Japan standards. Great service. Free laundry facilities was plus but the machines take a long time and one dryer was out of service so the night I did laundry I had to be up really late to complete ot.

한적한 골목 안쪽에 있었고 교토 중심지와 멀지 않았다. 굉장히 깨끗하고 직원들의 서비스도 좋았고 무엇보다 세탁기와 건조기가 무료였던 것이 정말 좋았다. 룸의 크기도 다른 호텔보다 크고 깨끗하고 좋았다.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. They offer complimentary coffee and tea which is great. The hotel is located only 10 minutes from Nishiki Market and the subway station. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit

We loved our stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean and beautiful, very spacious for Japan standards. The staff is kind and helpful. The area feels very safe and quiet. Location is about 10-20 walk to pontocho, nishiki market, gion area. The 7eleven is one block away.

A simple beautiful experience that is allowed by the hotels location , staff and room quality . The deluxe queen is perfect with its space and kitchenette facilities . Bonus is the free laundry for those travelling a lot . We love walking and being honest it’s not super close to transport , but honestly was not a problem . Kyoto is a walking experience and when you wish to explore further than the city boundaries there are options for transport 10 minutes away .

The staff members were all kind and extremely helpful. The room was spotless, had seperate toilet and bathroom, walk-in shower, plus a bath, washing machine, cooktop, fridge. The whole place is wonderful. We were sorry to leave!

The gold standard for accommodation and service - our second visit and the staff went above and beyond (including a room upgrade to show appreciation at our return). Room was incredible as was the general support and courtesies extended. Will stay with them again (without Expedia).

Loved our stay here while we were in Kyoto! Staff was so welcoming and friendly - the rooms were clean and modern. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to all the places we wanted to and on a very quiet street!

It’s a great experience trying the old-style rooms. Because you’re sleeping on the floor the mattress and pillow is stiffer than the average hotel ones, which we loved.

Location is in the middle of everywhere which means walking to a station or a nearby busier area is about a 10 min walk.

Ideal stay in Kyoto

It was such a magical experience. To stay in a modern hotel converted into traditional Japanese room with modern amenities was such an experience. The location of the hotel was perfect since it was centrally located and easy to walk to train stations, restaurants and tourist spots. The staff were very accommodating and friendly going out of their way to cater to your needs. And as a bonus, the tea house setup by the lobby was perfect way to spend a quiet morning or cap up the long day with stories with your friends.
