I don’t understand why is it so complicated to check in. They have a screen that you have to put your name in it. And can’t even check in using booking number
Just the name, and it has to be exactly right.
I booked using my English name yet it was registered as katakana
It took them 7 minutes to figure that out.
Hotel’s room etc is nice but check in service was just horrible…

部屋も綺麗でスタッフさんも親切で良かったです。
2泊お世話になりました。
5人で宿泊しましたが、広い部屋と子供達も２段ベッドでテンション上がってました。
屋上で東京タワーを見ながら、座ってのんびり出来るのも良かったです。
ありがとうございました。

口コミを見て部屋が狭いことは了承していたが、洗面台のシンクの大きさが驚くほど小さく、顔を洗うことができるサイズではなかったため、シャワー室にて顔を洗った。東京のホテルの価格が全体的に高騰しているため、他のホテルに比べるとリーズナブルではあるが、価格に見合っているとはいえない。あくまで簡易な宿泊施設と思った方がよい

浜松町駅から近くて便利なので予約しました。
チェックイン時にフロントの方（２人とも外人さん）から、氏名・住所のほか郵便番号も記入するよう求められましたが、生まれてこのかたそのような要求を受けたことがないので驚き、理由を聞いたところ、
「何かお忘れものがあったときに送れるように」
とのお答えで、これまた驚き呆れました。
（宿泊客のプライバシーを保護すべきホテルが、忘れ物を届出先の住所に送りつけるの？）

それはともかく、ツインルームは広くて快適だったが、
・部屋に湯沸かし用ケトルはあるが、コーヒーカップがない
・ベッドの枕が固くて寝苦しい
・加湿器への給水方法がわかりにくい
という点が気になりました。

部屋はコンパクトでよかったですが、荷物の置き場に少々苦労しました。
外国の方しか見かけませんでしたが、特に問題ありませんでした。
晴れていたので屋上から夜の東京タワーがきれいに見えてよかったです。

予約していたにもかかわらず、受付で異常なくらい待たされたので、予約者に対してはスムーズにチェックインできるようにした方がいいと思う。また、他の方も受付で憤慨していたのでいい気持ちにはならなかった。屋上の景色がとても綺麗だったけど、部屋も狭く今回が最後の宿泊です。

便利な立地、新しくて清潔なホテル

JR浜松町、モノレール浜松町、大江戸線大門駅から徒歩3分ほど、周囲にはコンビニもたくさんあってとても便利な立地。新しくてアメニティも不足なし。ベッドも快適でした。屋上に上がれて景色を眺められるのもいい。また利用します。

部屋は清潔ですが…

ユニットバスではないところが気に入ってこのホテルを選びましたが、洗面器は小さすぎて顔を洗うと回りがびしょびしょになりました。また、洗面器回りには備え付けのタオルが無いため不自由でした。タオル一つおいていてほしいものです。
また、電気ポットは有るものの、コーヒーカップは備え付けは有りません。カップラーメン用ということかしら？

The location was very convenient to mass transit. We were disappointed that there was no air conditioning for our room. The hotel had changed over to central heating. Therefore our room for a hot a 24.5c before we had all HVAC turned off. We had to open the window. During the day/ closed at night due to the noise, cutting off any air circulation. Also, it was advertising daily cleaning. This did not happen. Instead it was every 4 days.

The hotel itself is good and the location is great with 2 train stations within a few minutes walk. There are numerous kombinis nearby (Lawson, Family Mart, 7/11).
We stayed in a Hollywood twin which had an ok amount of space for a room in Japan. The hotel doesn’t offer daily cleaning which is the same as most hotels in Japan now, due to environmental policies.
The room had a form of air con however it is centrally controlled and at some times was blasting hot air. We did have a window in the room we could open a bit but it was a bit of an oven at certain times and really uncomfortable. You can put your rubbish outside your door for collection or bath towels but you don’t get replacements, like at other hotels who hang a replenishment bag on your door handle for you to take into the room. Cleaning staff are lovely. We asked for new bath towels at the reception but the staff gave us hand towels.
Japanese staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful, European staff members weren’t and were unhelpful at check-in where they just assumed we knew what to press on the self check-in screen and hiw to sort our own room key. They were quite patronising when they did show us what to do. One lift in the hotel which is fine for quiet times but if you need to use it to get up or down in the hotel quickly at busy times you’re stuck. One washer and one dryer at the hotel which smelled quite damp.
Roof terrace does have some great views of the city and Tokyo Tower.

Our second time staying at this hotel. Rooms still feel clean and well-maintained, with strong water pressure from rainshower.

We enjoy the well-equipped and cosy lobby, good for enjoying food/drinks any time or for freshening up before/after check out.

Reducing a star as the new policy does not allow guests to pay to extend check-out hours, which makes the 10am checkout timing seem really restrictive.

親切で助けてくれるスタッフがいます。ドラッグストア、レストラン、コンビニエンスストアの近くにあります。
唯一の難点は、トイレとシャワーが同じ部屋にあり、すりガラスのスライドドアで仕切られていることです。4人の友人で滞在するには、もう少しプライバシーが欲しいと感じました。
部屋のスツールには汚れがついていましたが、それ以外は部屋は清潔でした。
スタッフは、チェックアウト後に友人の荷物を数時間預かってくれました。最近はこうしたサービスが難しくなっている宿も多いので、利用者がこの親切を悪用しないことを願っています。

Kind and helpful staff. Located close to drugstores, restaurants, and Convenience stores. Only downfall is the toilet and shower are in the same room which is separated by a fog glass sliding door. Not ideal for 4 friends who want more privacy than that. The stool in the room had stains all around it. Other wise the room was clean. The staff let our friend store their luggage for a few hours after check out. I hope people don’t abuse this as a lot of places aren’t able to do this anymore.

Awful experience. Do not waste your time and money at this property. The photos are taken very close up to disguise what this place really looks like. Completely does not match what we saw in images. Amenities are blocked off for staff use only, vending machine is malfunctioning (takes your money and doesn’t dispense anything), laundry room is not a room, it’s a single machine.. behind a pillar… IN the lobby which is already tiny and PACKED with other people held luggage. Check In machines don’t work. Our check in took 40 minutes or more. We stayed at 4 other hotels and took no longer than 5 min for check in. We booked another hotel and decided to leave this one, staff was EXTREMELY rude and started an argument about our “preferences” for another hotel, rather than owning up to the obvious issues this hotel has.

Quiet area. There are food options and coffee shops very close by, a 24 hour drug store within walking distance, and it is close to the train station. I especially like how large the rooms are. Lots of space for luggage and walking around.

Das Hotel liegt in perfekter Fußnähe zur Station "Daimon", von der aus man eine sehr gute Anbindung an ganz Tokyo hat. Die Station ist in nicht mal 5 Minuten erreichbar. Außerdem gibt es eine riesige Anzahl an Supermärkten (7 Eleven, Familymart, Lawson) in unmittelbarer Nähe, genauso wie eine extrem große Anzahl an Restaurants, die wirklich alle super lecker sind (zumindest die sieben, die wir dort probiert haben. :))
Der Check In hat problemlos funktioniert und die Hotelangestellten waren hilfreich und sehr freundlich. Das Housekeeping ist alle 4 Tage, was für uns persönlich voll und ganz ausreichend war. Sollte man neue Sachen, wie zb Handtücher, benötigen, so kann man ganz einfach beim Personal anfragen und bekommt diese auch. Handtücher, sowie ein Föhn und Duschzeug, Zahnbürste etc wurden vom Hotel gestellt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und modern, eine Klimaanlage war vorhanden. Die Dusche war sehr schön und geräumig. Einziger Kritikpunkt: ein Schrank o.ä. wäre perfekt gewesen, so musste man schauen, dass man die Koffer am besten aufeinander stapelt. Es hat aber auch mit 4 Koffern pronlemlos funktioniert. Das Hotel verfügt über eine Lobby und eine Dachterrasse, die man benutzen kann. Die Dachterrasse bietet eine super Aussicht auf die Umgebung und man kann den Toyko Tower super sehen. Dieser ist ebenfalls ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel aus erreichbar. Das Parken und das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, da wir dies beides nicht in Anspruch genommen haben. Es war sehr schön!

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The rooms are a little small, but functional layout. The rain shower is amazing. They have a shared kitchen on the main floor which is great. Staff are great as well. Would stay here again.

離大門站不遠

離大門站不遠，相當方便。一樓的廚房水龍頭就是飲用水，也很棒。有微波爐可以使用。我們是訂最小的房間，真的很小，但浴室很大很舒適！
飯店沒有吸煙室，要抽煙必須走去大門站外的吸煙區。

Convenient and Comfortable

Great stay! The hotel was a short walk from the train station and surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Loved the free amenities in the lobby, clean and well-equipped room (hair dryer, iron, shoe dryer), and the spacious bathroom with double sinks and a separate toilet. Having a washer/dryer on our floor was so convenient. Perfect for our family— we’d stay here again!

Great location. Very comfortable, well equipped room. Nespresso type coffee machine very welcome. Check in process was automated although a member of staff was on hand. The automated process was actually slower and involved some duplication of inputting of material. Perhaps less technology would be easier!

Executive twin room

Highly recommended! Stayed 4 nights in executive twin room. The room has 2 beds and a sofa. It was very spatious for a family of 4 (4 adult sized people) with 4 large suitcases. The room was clean and extremely private since there was only one other room on our floor. So the washer and dryer in the hallway was also semi-private. Excellent location: short walking distance to train stations, easy access to visit popular touristic places, many dining options and convenience stores. The room didnt have a microwave so you'd have to use the one in the common area on the 1st floor. There's a bakery called Boulangerie Noli et Nori just around the corner and it was so good that we went there every morning. Front desk staff were multi-lingual, very nice and helpful. Easy self checkout. I would definitely stay at Bay Hotel Tokyo Hamamatsucho again!

Wir mussten sowohl auf die Gepäckaufbewahrung als auch das Einchecken lange warten. Das Zimmer wurde dann offenbar im Schnellverfahren "gereinigt". Es stank stark nach Schweiß des Reinigungspersonals. Als dann auch noch ein Mitarbeiter (aus Versehen) einfach in unser Zimmer kam, checkten wir wieder aus. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich entschuldigt und es kam zu einer Rückerstattung. Wir würden das Hotel trotzdem nicht empfehlen.

Great little stay in Tokyo

Perfect for our family of 5. We stayed in the executive twin bunk with a sugar bed and it was perfect for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was smooth and let us store our luggage before our check-in time. Bathrooms are clean and hotel had some toiletries in case you needed them. Close to the station to take the train wherever you needed. Nice little rooftop lounge with a view of the Tokyo Tower

Property was in a great location with very easy access to the train within a 5 minute walk. The room was spacious and had enough room for our party of four. The hotel does not have any food accommodations however there is plenty of options within walking and even the corner bakery. Simple and easy and would definitely recommend to any family coming to Tokyo.

Väldigt bra kvalitet versus pris ratio. Ligger centralt och nära två stora stationer. Vi har önskat oss att bo högre upp och hamnade enbart på 5e våningen så det var dock det enda minuset. Annars jättetrevlig personal, utsikt mot Tokyo tower från rooftoppen och mysig lobby med kaffe och te samt gratis toalettartiklar.

We stayed at the Bay Hotel Tokyo for five nights with two adults and three kids between 10 and 13. The room was big enoughfor all of us with a great sized bathroom. The motel was an easy 5 minute walk from tge JR Yaramoto line making it very east to get around. It took us roughly 20 to 25 minutes to Shibuya and similar times to Tokyo. There were ample nearby Lawson and 7/11 convenience stores for all food and beverage needs including alcohol. On pur day of checkout the staff were kind enough to mind our bags so we could fit in some last minute shopping. Would definately stay here again.

Giant Tokyo Room

I was surprised how big the double room was! It was giant in comparison to other Tokyo hotels! The front desk spoke little English, but they were still extremely helpful! The check in process is completely automated and they will store your luggage for you on your departure day. I would definitely stay again!

Excellent location - very close to the station. Fantastic bakery just on the corner for delicious pastries and great coffee also nearby. The only issue we had was that although there are many restaurants in the area, they were almost always full with locals/workers and it was tricky to find availability. Could not fault the hotel, the staff, rooms, cleanliness though!

I really enjoyed this hotel. Small and quiet. Close to yamanote line and Oedo line. Lots convenience stores and restaurants.
I like the front desk area where I could just sit and have a coffee quietly. Rooms are not big and check in took a little bit but the Tokyo tower view from our room was cool. Also close to Teamlab borderless

This property did not disappoint. It was convenient, a good price, yes the room we were in was a little small but managable, the staff were helpful and friendly, there was free hot drinks, the use of a microwave, laundry facilities (payable), safe and very clean.
My husband and I loved the roof top view.
We would definitely recommend.

Next JR station is only 5 Minutes walk away, very central and a lot of dining options available. Room size is average, but the shower is very big.
