素晴らしい

名勝・養老の滝に近く夜景が楽しめる高台にある、隠れ家的な老舗旅館だと思います。食事も料理長の高い力量が感じられる絶品の数々で美味しく頂きました。
気温が冷え込んでくる秋口で温度調節が難しいのか、部屋専用の露天風呂が少しぬるかったのが残念でした。

コロナ感染対策のためでしょうか、又は従来からでしょうか、 廊下もすべて畳か絨毯だった😃 。よって「スリッパは使用しません。」との説明を受けたが。代わりにフリーサイズの靴下もどきを履くことでと、なりました。

部屋に戻ると、イチイチ靴下もどきを脱がないよネぇ。だからそのまま畳の部屋へ上がることになる。これって、スリッパで歩き回って部屋に戻ったらスリッパのまま畳の間に上がることを意味するので、何か違和感があったなぁ😅

スタンダード１０畳の部屋にはネットの写真カタログのような露天風呂が各部屋についていないのでは？😁
「ご要望に添えない場合も....」は確信犯くさい。 その他は概ね良好でした。

自分流休暇の過ごし方

家族でゆっくり過ごしにやって来ました。養老の滝への散歩や養老山までのトレイルランニング を温泉入浴と食事の合間に組み込み隙間の時間に部屋からの眺めを楽しみ休日を満喫しました。特に部屋付きの露店風呂は朝日を浴びながら最高の気分でした。

養老孝子

養老山脈トレイルランニング大会に参加するために87歳の父を連れて養老の滝の近くにあるホテルに泊まりました。宿泊客が少ないせいか他のお客と浴場を含めて顔を合わせることはありませんでした。食事は個室でいただき食事の間に布団がひいてあって或いは布団が上げてあってありがたい気持ちでした。暖かな部屋で大きな窓から見える音もなく舞う木の葉の様子は冬の空に映え生きてて良かったと思わせる力を感じました。食事もお風呂も素晴らしく騒々しい家族もいなくて非日常を過ごすことができました。

写真の撮り方が綺麗

この辺りではここが一番良いらしいので、こちらに宿泊しました。
写真がとても綺麗で、写真と実際が違うと思います。

養老の滝が近くにあり、これはとても素敵でした。

大満足の宿

山道の先にある旅館。部屋数も少ないので、他の宿泊客に会う事もほとんど無く、静かでノンビリできます。
ホスピタリティも素晴らしい。
館内廊下は全て畳で素足で過ごせます。料理もとても美味しく、量もたっぷりで大満足。徒歩2分ほどで養老の滝を見れます。
今度は紅葉の時期に来てみたい。

ただ、温泉の脱衣スペースや、スリッパ無しで歩く畳廊下に落ちている髪が気になってしまった。
清潔感がある綺麗で素敵な宿なので余計に目立ってしまうのだと思う。

森の中にある静かなホテル

養老の滝のすぐ近くにあります。露天風呂、料理とも申し分なく従業員の方はとても親切でまた宿泊したいです。

山の中の景色が綺麗な旅館

静かな大人の旅館で、お料理も美味しく、スタッフのおもてなしも素晴らしかったです。
次回は是非、紅葉の季節に訪れたいと思います。

This hotel is amazing. Beautiful rooms with a fabulous view of Yoro and the valley. The food is some of the best I have had in Japan. The service also incredible.

A five minute walk to gorgeous waterfalls and forest temple. And right on the trail to the Mt. Yoro hike.

Spectacular. We cannot wait to come back.

藏於山中，環境優美的溫泉酒店

溫泉酒店整體來說是不錯的，但因酒店員工不怎麼會說英語，所以有些時候會產生誤會

It's a very small onsen ryokan and so not crowded with noisy people. The public bath is a bit too small. The access road is a bit too steep and has to be very careful in driving.

Highly recommended ryukon

Our stay at this ryukon was amazing. The service was excellent. We had a great time there and the hosts were very kind and very welcoming. We came late and they still provided us with service. This place is a must visit.

Extraordinary experience and exceptional service. This is a really special place, away from the city, with nature and great hikes. The dinning experience 1/2 board is an outstanding culinary experience. This was the best place and Japanese experience of our trip.

Fantastic authentic Japanese experience.

Amazing service, food, and views. Beautiful night views. Very relaxing and quiet. Lots of privacy and attention to detail. Food was exceptional. Lots of delicious seasonal specialties presented in artistically. Both dinner and breakfast were wonderful. Perfect for Japanese foods connoisseurs. Probably best for travelers familiar with Japanese culture and foods.

Exceptional hotel, just perfect

Yuki no Sato is by far the best hotel I have stayed. Me and my friend at first just want to spend a night in a traditional Japanese Ryokan(旅館). Then we came across this one in hotels.com and immediately in love with it. I drove there all the way from Kyoto, with a stopover in Hikone along the Biwako Sazanami street. It was a really relaxing drive. The hotel offers a very nice Kaiseki dinner and breakfast inside a private room. It also has an outdoor Onsen for the visitors. Unluckily, it was raining in the next morning and we couldn't go to the Yoro waterfall. I really would love to stay in here again next time.

P.S., I couldn't reply to the hotel's messages because I was driving and didn't check my email. I am very sorry and because of this, I think the hotel staff didn't know when to prepare our accommodation. 申し訳ありません.

Best Stay Ever

This is the first ryokan I've been to, but the best stay I've had anywhere. I've never had service like this before. If you're looking for a perfect mixture of traditional and modern, and a remote location in nature, this is for you. And with the elaborate dinner and breakfast, the price is very much worth it.

It is an excellent hotel with excellent service. It is ideal for country side relaxation. It is reside on top of the mountain and right beside the waterfall site. The service is excellent and know english well. We booked a room with outside hotspring, it had enough privacy and remarkable view. It included both dinner and breakfast. It is a traditional japanese cuisines and it just delicious. Suggest arrive hotel before sunset as there is a private forest road to the hotel and it is narrow without any traffic light. Also, they is not much shop near by and your may need to drive back down hill to get some supply.

It's not an easy location to find. Driving up the mountain to the hotel is a bit dangerous as the roads are narrow and only one lane with some headon cars. It's even more dangerous if there is snow on the road.

服務週到，迎賓茶點極為精緻，令人印象深刻。晚餐及早餐取自當地食材，非常豐盛且具特色。溫泉池不太，還好客房數不多，足夠使用。旁邊就是養老瀑布，可惜楓葉還沒轉紅。

2 min walk to yoro falls

It was a fantastic experience, not only did we get to enjoy the hotel itself; we loved being able to see the yoro falls within 5 mins. Takimotokan Yukinosato welcomed us with not only a nice group of staff, but also a phenomenal view. The meals were different yet it was traditional, delicious and extremely fulfilling, overall it was a great experience and we would love to go again.
