素敵なホテルでした。ホテルスタッフ様、アートもよかったです。
初めて利用しましたが、ウェルカムドリンクの注文の時一階cafeスタッフ様が無愛想で残念でした。他のお店かもしれませんが、、ケーキ、朝食は美味しかったです。

周囲は商業施設が少なく静かな環境でした。ホテル内は清潔で、室内も簡素ではありますが必要なものが揃っており、独立した浴室は浴槽も大きく疲れを癒やすことができました。受付も丁寧に対応していただけました。とてもいいホテルでした。

キレイ！清潔感がありとても好感を持ちました。

ホテル前に駐車スペースがあるけど、
そこを利用出来ないのが残念。。。
駐車料金取ってもいいから利用できるようにして欲しい。

周辺にコインパーキングが多数ありますが、雨の日に家族で泊まったので
雨の中荷物を持ってホテルまで行くのが少し面倒でした。

オシャレな感じがするだけのホテル

部屋のティッシュが補充されていなかったり、チェックアウトの際、レセプションに人がいなかったりで結構グダクダダ感がありました。
ただオシャレってだけですね。
駅からも近くないし、周りが住宅街なのでなにもありません。
リピートはないですね！

友達とワイワイと過ごせる

友達と集まって宿泊しました。和室タイプのお部屋で、のんびりくつろぎながら過ごせて快適でした。お風呂も広い！紙皿やプラカップなども用意していただけました。地下のアートスペースも面白くて、オシャレでリーズナブルなホテルです。部屋からスカイツリーが良く見えたのも良かったです。

一人で泊まる分には広さは十分でした。清潔で快適に過ごせました。

朝食についての案内不足で食べることができなかったので残念でした。
浅草とスカイツリーの中間に位置するので、歩いて買い物や観光に行ける距離でとてもよかったです。また機会があれば利用したいと思いました。

エアコンの効き目がもう少しよければなぁ

家のエアコンが壊れて、急遽近くのこちらに泊まりました。
基本的に清掃は行き届いているかなと思いましたが、テレビの上にホコリがかなりたまっていました。真夏の暑さだったのに関わらず、19度、風量MAXに設定しても、部屋が涼しくなるスピードがかなり遅かったかなと感じました。

部屋についているベッドライトやお風呂のライトの色を変えられるのは良かったと思いました。
アート作品が沢山あり落ち着く雰囲気も良かったです。

Hotels.com issue

Problem at the beginning because hotels.com and Japan hotels have a different child age limit. You really have to count any child older than 3 in booking thru hotels.com or you'll have an issue. Good thing the staff there esp sinji helped us since it's not our fault.

Had a great stay here. The hotel's in a very quiet residential area, about 10 minutes walk from the Asasuka subways and main tourist areas. It can be quite deserted if you're walking back late, but the area is very safe.the hotel itself is very minimalist, like a converted warehouse. The hotel also functions as an art gallery of sorts, with displays from local artists in the ground and basement floors. The staff were very friendly and spoke English well.

The rooms also shared the minimalist aesthetic and were roomy in comparison to some similarly priced hotels in Tokyo.

I liked that the room provided glass pitchers to refill with filtered water (located in the communal space in the basement).

Overall a great stay and I'd recommend it if you don't mind walking a bit each day to public transit.

Smukt Japandi hotel i Asakusa kvarteret

VIRKELIG et skønt hotel i det hyggelige Asakusa kvarter. Hotellet er indrettet i en smuk Japandi stil, men med alt hvad man behøver. Meget cool med alt kunsten også. Personalet var så søde og imødekommende, og meget hjælpsomme til at få vores bagage sendt videre til det næste hotel. Hotellet ligger også tæt på Sky tree og Senso-Ji templet.

This is our second time at Kaika. We stayed here last July as well. The hotel rooms are spacious (for Tokyo), modern and clean. It is walking distance to the main sites in Asakusa or a short cheap cab ride if you don’t want to walk. Every morning I walked to breakfast at Cafe Tomorrow (the only restaurant open early). Though I’ve looked at other hotels in other areas it’s hard to beat the convenience, location, and pricing of this hotel. Love it!

An amazing stay! I enjoyed the creativity of the basement, with its artwork, and beautiful furniture. The rooms were very tidy, and the bathroom was better that I expected. Highly recommended!

Very neat atmosphere with the hotel also being an art gallery. Only negative is we received a complimentary drink from the bar but it closed at 700pm and didn’t open until 1100am. We arrived after 700pm and checkout was 1000am. So kind of useless.

My family and i stayed 4nights and had an amazing time at this hotel. Only one train ride from Narita Airport (Narita Express), Only about 10mins walk from Asakusa station and 15mins taxi ride to Tokyo station where we got the Shinkansen to Osaka. Extremely clean property, my family and i loved it and would definitely recommend to families with children (ours 13 and 11) would stay here again!

Peaceful location, still convenient for public transport.

Spacious rooms in very good condition. Common areas are great to spend time in - we really enjoyed the basement lounge and the café. The art on display is also lovely.

The staff were excellent.

My only improvement would be some moisturiser sachets as an amenity.

Windows in rooms are very thin. Not noise proof and it was quite windy, so I needed to lay on the opposite side of the bed. Queen bedroom room was quite small for two regular size people.

Kaika is een heel fijn hotel met schone ruime kamers. De bedden slapen heerlijk en de badkamer is ook ruim en schoon. Het personeel is zeer klantvriendelijk. Het hotel is gelegen in een rustige wijk, wat extra fijn is in een drukke stad als Tokyo. Dit is alweer mijn tweede verblijf en ik zal de volgende keer in Tokyo ook weer hier terugkomen.

Overall it was a great hotel. The only thing is, it’s quite far from the station and bus stop. A bit of a walk to a convenience store too. However, this was our second time stay at this hotel. We chose this again because of its quiet atmosphere. But yeah, just the walk back to the hotel was hard.

What a wonderful hotel located in the peaceful Sumida ward. It has stunning artwork all over. The rooms are extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff is exceptional in their hospitality and warmth. I had such a great time during my stay. I highly recommend anyone to stay here during their trip to Tokyo. It was in the perfect location for me as anytime I needed to take the metro, I would get amazing views of the Sky Tree.

창문을 열 수 없어 환기가 힘들었지만, 공기청정기와 서큘레이터가 있었고, 다른 호텔에 비해 공간이 넓음. 특히벙커베드룸은 천고가 높아 좁게 느껴지지 않음. 친절한 직원들, 샐러드가 나오는 든든한 조식과 환경을 생각한 어메니티까지 만점.
주변 스미다강 풍경과 한적한 동네는 여행 내내 산책하기에도 좋았음

Fantastic stay! The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly helpful. It’s cozy, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus a complimentary welcome drink. The on-site café and art gallery add a lovely touch. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean! Highly recommend!

Aesthetically very pleasing but not so convenient for transport and dining options. You will need to walk at least 11 minutes to the closest train station and decent dining, 5 minutes to the closest bus stop. Will take about 18 minutes to get to the main Asakusa tourist areas. I knew this prior to booking but as Tokyo was the end of our 3 week trip, we were getting tired and wanted less walking. But there is a 7-11, 3 minutes walk away.
Having said this, the facilities and rooms were great. Bathrooms had sink, toilet and shower sections separated which meant different family members could use different bathroom amenities simultaneously. Mezzanine bunk beds provided more floor space for luggage. Staff also very helpful.

We just enjoyed a 7 night stay at KAIKA in Tokyo. Location was excellent, 10 min walk from the Asakusa and Kuramae Stations. If you’re flying into Narita, the Keisei Skyacess train goes directly to the Asakusa Station. The hotel itself is lovely - clean and modern. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful, although English language skills can vary. Rooms are fairly spacious for Japan standards. We booked the Moderate Large for our party of 3 (1 adult, 2 17 year old boys). Beds were comfortable but pillows were hard. Bathroom was small but functional, with a single sink, toiled behind a sliding door and a separate bath/shower area. Be aware that the door into the bath/shower room is clear glass: only 1 person can be in the bathroom at once as otherwise there’s no privacy while showering. Also no towel hooks or racks in the bathroom. Temperature control for the room was easy to use. Room had a few hangers and hooks, as well as a short row of cabinets. Cabinets were locked but the top surface allowed for storage. There’s also a mini fridge and tea kettle, mugs and teabags (FYI no coffee). Overall room is clean and modern. Our only complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that although the rooms have very large windows, the glass was frosted which meant we couldn’t see out. Felt a bit prison like.

Several convenience stores are within a 5 min walk. Don’t miss the delicious family owned soba/udon restaurant just 2 blocks away - we ate there a few times. Must visit!

We loved our stay at Kaika! Everyone were so helpful. The room was beautiful , modern and quiet.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, about 7 minute walk from the train station, however it is so nice to stay away from the crowds and in an area where locals live and eat. We found restaurants that feels truly authentic. Great place for families.

What an amazing stay at a unique property in a quiet neighborhood. Our room had two futons in the bottom area and a large loft above with two additional futons. The room was quite spacious and impeccably clean and very quiet. The staff were also helpful and the laundry area was convenient for our two week stay in Japan. The hotel itself had a cool art warehouse vibe with different exhibitions to explore. Only minor downside is the 15 minute walk to Asakusa station but we enjoyed our morning walks over the bridge to get there! Highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely come back.
