良き点と残念な点

チェックインが一度フロントに行ってから機械でやるのは二度手間な気はしたが、アウトはラクでした。室内は必要最低限という感じで良かったかもしれない。1人でハリウッドツインの利用。広くて良いが真ん中の隙間に嵌ったりしてしまった。傍にある隙間を固定するようにすればマットレスが動かないのではないかと思いました。フロント階のフリースペースは本やドリンク、PCができたりするので便利だと思いました。

Hotel Tavinos in Asakusa sits in the kind of perfect location that almost makes you forget you’re basically sleeping inside a shoebox. You can walk to everything: temples, food, trains, and whatever else you feel like cramming into your Tokyo days. The rooms… well, let’s just say if you’re even mildly claustrophobic, this place will test your character development. They’re tiny. Like “don’t breathe too deeply” tiny. The beds were comfortable enough, but they had commitment issues and kept sliding away from each other. Romantic. The bathroom followed the same theme: compact to the point of comedy, but the shower was a beast. Powerful, hot, and honestly one of the best parts of the stay. Staff were super friendly and genuinely helpful, which definitely softened the edges of the sardine-can living situation. Overall: a solid choice for 3–4 days max. Great for convenience, less great if you plan on actually spending time in the room without bumping into furniture, walls, or each other.

Got exactly what we paid for, a comfortable bed and somewhere to stay whilst visiting Tokyo. Only drawback is the lifts are a little slow and always stop on the second floor! Would stay there again when visiting Tokyo next time

The Hotel is in the heart of Asakusa within walking distance of temples, street food and shopping. If you don’t mind a tiny room it’s a good value. The room is the size of a US bathroom and the bath is smaller than our hall closet. Again if you are only sleeping there it’s a good deal and great view. The breakfast unlimited small buns and hot coffee. Enjoy Asakusa!

La habitación bastante sucia, el espacio es súper pequeño me sentía como en el armario de mi casa. El colchón orinado, la cubierta de la cama nada limpia, la cobija ni siquiera era blanca era beige de lo sucia que estaba. No pude dormir la ventana dejaba pasar aire y hacía un ruido extraño como si hubiera un mosquito en la habitación, mi peor experiencia en un hotel, de verdad la peor.

The staff at this hotel are very nice, and super helpful! The rooms are small but they are so well laid out and have space for luggage that it doesn’t feel small. The hotel was VERY clean, and the common area was great. I would stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so nice!

Amenities such as coffee, hot and cold water, and laundry service are a plus. The price is reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. It’s also within walking distance of many local restaurants, bars, and eateries. We’ve stayed at other hotels that weren’t as convenient to train stations, supermarkets, or convenience stores as this one. Highly recommended for budget-friendly travelers.

Great location and easy check in process. This was a great choice for easy transportation, close to tourist attractions and offered drinks and snacks on the go. One thing I will mention is the bed was uncomfortable so unless you like a very firm bed, keep this in mind during your stay. Overall, had a great experience and it was surprisingly quite for how close to tourist locations it was.

Hotel staff were very nice & spoke good English. The hotel certainly could’ve been a bit cleaner. The carpets in the hallways were visibly stained. The carpet in the elevators was even worse. (Not sure why they went with carpet in the elevator to begin with, should prob just get rid of that.) The elevators are incredibly slow, and there are only 3 that go up to the higher floors, of which there are 13 floors total. Also, the elevators always stops on the 2nd floor for some reason while going up and down, even when not requested to that floor. You’ll often end up waiting a long time for the elevators. I would’ve just taken the stairs had I not been on the 11th floor. My room was fairly clean, however my towels had a weird, almost wet dog smell to them & the air conditioner fan kind of smelled like pee. A lot of people in other reviews complained about the lack of space. For me as a solo traveler, I felt I had enough room. But I could see how a couple or a family staying in a room would get cramped. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. This hotel was a cheaper option, and I feel it showed. It’s a shame because the vibe of the hotel is pretty cool. It has an anime-inspired look with free to read manga in the lobby which was pretty neat.

In our experience, it was very bad, they gave us the room with dirty sheets, a bad smell from the carpet and in general the room had a bad smell, when we were sleeping we felt fleas or some animal that were crawling on our bodies, we complained and they changed the sheets but they only cleaned the room once in 4 days that we were staying. The only good thing about the hotel is the location and that it is very pretty on the outside and the decoration of the spaces and the rooms but the dirtiness of the carpets and the beds and the lobby is tremendous.

Rooms were not what we were expecting but did the job. Rooms were quite small so not much room to move around, and no fridge in room. We were not told ahead of time that the rooms were not serviced daily which was a bit disappointing. In any case, the hotel is in a great location so easy for meals and close to a couple of train stations

Fint værelse, men puderne og madrassen var ikke det bedste. Værelset er lille, men det vidste vi og gør prisen bedre, så ikke et problem. Ville give topkarakter for samlet oplevelse hvis puden og madrassen ikke var så hård.

The room was very small with no window. But that was ok. It was spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. And when in the room you couldn't hear a thing. Huge TV. Could get CNN on it, the only English language. Would recommend it & will stay there again when I return. The limousine bus stops at the Asakusa view hotel, just one block away. Really handy getting from Narita airport. No lugging cases around train stations.

The rooms are definitely smaller than the pictures lead them on to be. Super clean, really interesting theme, yummy pastries available at breakfast. The staff is super helpful. The kiosks that allow you to check in and out are really convenient.
The location is great and close enough to some really great spots in Asakusa.

Hotel Tavinos is in a great location in the Asakusa area. Our room was super basic and pretty small - would suggest choosing a room that is bigger if you are not traveling as a couple or family member that doesn't mind sleeping basically on top of each other. Small room has luggage space under beds, useful, but means lots of dragging out your bag opening, closing, etc. but for the price it was fine. The manga theme is a fun addition. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Recommend for a short time or if you get a larger room than we did.

It's a modern hotel, and very affordable. The room type I stayed in had no fridge, so that's something you'll have to work your way around. There's always a lot of people coming and going from the hotel, or using the lobby (mostly tourists), so it can get quite lively.

The hotel is very clean and quiet. You do self check-in and check-out but there is staff if you need help. Close to big shopping stores like Don Quijote Uniqlo and GU. Food and bars are just a block away. Tenples and subway are walking distance. Great experience

I absolutely loved the location and the hotel was definitely good value for what we got. It is on the smaller side in terms of space but it was at such a great price you can understand.
Very clean and the rooms worked well, however the pillows were not very full/comfortable.

Yall wrong for them tiny rooms & barely any storage. I was disappointed that we were supposed to have a view of the tower but didn’t.

Three night stay

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was in a good location but I would not stay here again. The room wasn’t very clean and was rather dusty. The AC was awful as it was very noisy and disrupted our sleep all night, but with it off it was far too hot. The elevators are awful. They only have three operating up and down 12 floors and every time we had to use them it was a 10/15 minute wait plus all the stops it stops at on the way down.

The only criticism I have is that the Check-in machines and desk are hidden and difficult to find for first time visitors. When I arrived I took the elevators up to the 2nd floor and was met with a confusing bus terminal experience. When I left the elevators I had no idea where to go to check-in. There was no sign, no arrows, nothing. All I saw was a room full of a ton of people with their luggage and a bunch of coffee machines and it took me a minute or two of absolute confusion to find the check-in machines and desk tucked away in the far left hand corner of the room. This is terribly confusing for first time visitors and although you may not be able to move the checkin desks closer to the elevators, it would be intelligent to put large arrows on the floor or hand a giant sign from the room showing someone who has never been there before where they need to go in order to check-in. This is my only major criticism but its a big one. I almost walked out and went to another hotel because your lobby is so poorly organized.
