家族4人で利用しました。ホテルだと4人部屋がなかったり、狭苦しい感じだったので、こちらを選びました。リビングスペースがくつろげてとても良かったです。駅側の部屋で窓からは新幹線が見れて楽しかったです。駅近で周りにレストランやショッピングのできるところも多いのに、とても静かで快適でした。ありがとうございました！

ベッドが硬い、隣部屋の音が漏れる、夜中のゴミ収集車がうるさい。トイレが狭く、ドアが薄いので音が漏れてゆっくり出来ない。洗面所には脱衣置き場が無い。狭い。廊下が暗い、部屋までの廊下から他の部屋が丸見えでしたので、夜は子供の教育に良くない。安いビジネスホテルのようだ。

駅から近く、買い物にも困りませんでした。
お風呂も水圧がきちんとあり湯船もゆったりで快適でした。
大人５人でしたが十分な広さでした。
スタッフの方々も親切で、聞いた事への返答もスムーズで良かったです。

We had a great stay at the Mimaru Kyoto Station, really enjoyed this line of hotels. The staff was great and the apartments are well suited for families. Great to have a nice quiet place to rest with the kids with space more equivalent to western travelers.

Be prepared for early rises though as the shades behind the windows do not block much light.

Perfect spot for our family

The staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms were a good size for our family of 4. The bathroom had an unusual smell, but overall it was a great room. Location is perfect with easy access to subway, train and buses. Lots of dinning options in the nearby kyoto station. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was perfect with adjoining connected rooms for our family of 7. It was close to Shinkansen and subway. The room was comfortable and the shower/bath was very large. Service was excellent. Good to have laundry.

We had a wonderful stay at Mimaru Kyoto station. The location is superb, check-in and check-out was smooth and easy, the front desk staff are friendly and no issue with communication. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Kyoto in future!

Just recently stayed 3 nights with my brother and our mum. This was our 2nd visit and once again did not disappoint. Staff were able to communicate pretty well in English. Gave sound advice on attractions to visit. We had the Pokémon room which the kids went crazy with Snorlax and bunk bed. There is a Macdonald at station which is a short walk from hotel.

Noise

Staffs were kind and supportive. Location was good to move. Room was efficent for the family over 5.

By the way, my family was waken up by the noise caused by kids singing and shouting from the next room at night between 22:00~23:00. It was too loud. The wall delivers sound as it is.

Very convenient to seven eleven downstairs and train station which made our stay for 5 nights enjoyable. Room was clean and layout was good for our family of four. Room was carpeted and i was worried there might be certain smells etc. But room was in excellent condition with no smells at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Our bullet train got cancelled because of the typhoon, and the staff informed us proactively and presented alternatives.

One advice, don’t book the garden room, it gets no light.

Highly recommended

Had an amazing stay here and would throughly recommend it. It's a great location opposite Kyoto station as well as a few malls all with 10 mins walk.

We booked a room with 1 double, bunk beds and a sofa bed that converted to abed, with a kitchenette. Pretty spacious by Japanese standards and very clean. We had a great view of Kyoto station watching the Shinkansen come in and out.

Want to call out the staff and how incredibly helpful they were. They suggested a better way to use the luggage transfer service for our needs which ended up saving us money, and also helped us when our pre booked taxi was very late. Thankyou Yuko, Ryo and all the staff for the help!

Good family option

Second Mimaru hotel on our family trip and would recommend any Mimaru at this point. The apartment concept is the way to go if you have kids and want to stay on a budget.

The view of the train station is really a plus. Not loud and very interesting watching the shinkansen and local trains come and go.

I took off one star for comfort because the five person room with five people in the summer is a bit tough. The sofa bed is right under the air conditioning vent. So, either that person is cold in the night or everyone else is hot.

It was within walking distance from the Kyoto train station. The property was clean and well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is great for what it is, a long term stay kind of place. Not wowed but no complaints either.

Really enjoyed our 5-night stay here. Perfect location for us for our Kyoto stay, as we used the train station a lot so loved the easy access. Much larger room than anywhere else we stayed in Japan, which was nice. Made use of the laundry facilities on-site. Appreciated the eco-friendly focus of the hotel. One silly thing is they have a bingo program where the kids can earn a small prize for doing various things around town. The prize is probably worth 100 yen. Our kids did everything to complete a row and had the pictures to show it, but they'd only give the prize to one child unless the other child did different things for a second row. Such a minor thing, but left a little bit of a negative taste in our mouth because with the many hundreds of dollars we spent to stay here, it seemed so ridiculous that they didn't just give the prize to both (especially when both did it!!). Other than that, positive experience.

The location is excellent, close to all transportation, JR, Subways, Buses, Long distance buses. The room size is good for a family of 4 with 2 beds and a bunk, it has a sitting room and cook area as well, it’s quite big comparing with other Japanese hotels.

Perfect for those who want to cook

Location is great; close to Kyoy Station. Easy access to JR Hachijo gate, Karasuma Line, and Shinkansen where it is kess crowded than the Central gates. 7-11 just around the corner.
Staff is friendly, laundry facility is convenient, well stocked full kitchen! Love washers in Japan. They all dispense detergent automatically!

We really enjoyed our stay. It is perfect for a family. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Liked having the laundry facility on site however, the dryers are not too good.

Place is really close to seven eleven and Lawsons. So close to Kyoto station.

Overall, I would really recommend this place for people in big groups or family.

的確舒適如家的住宿

搭乘利木津在八條口下車走60公尺就到了！很方便！去京都車站也是蠻快的，不過走到Aeon的超市就比較遠。

房間每三天才會換床單，但每天會進來收垃圾。廚具餐具一應俱全，也很乾淨，餐桌也大，買東西回來吃很方便。

櫃檯人員也都很有禮貌，有小桌遊可以借回房間玩，遇雨也有雨傘可外借，皆需登記房號。

很適合家庭旅行。

Outstanding!! A must stay.

We recently stayed at Mimaru Kyoto Station and it was one of our most pleasant experiences while vacationing in a foreign country. While the hotel room itself was great, the highlight was the high quality staff at Mimaru. We had the pleasure of interfacing with several staff but want to specifically recognize Yuko, Maya, Anh and Mac for helping us make our visit to Kyoto memorable. They provided us with recommendations on places to seein Kyoto, restaurants, shopping and transportation options to make the visit easy. All staffers were fluent in English which was a big help. We spent 2 days at Yumotokan in Otsu and because they were unable to communicate in English, the Mimaru Staff helped us by talking to the Yumotokan staff. Our appreciation for the Mimaru staff increased significantly when we moved to Tokyu Stay in Tokyo where unfortunately, the staff neither could help with any tourism information, nor could they communicate in English. Additionally, Tommaso from Mimaru Kyoto helped us understand how New Years Eve was celebrated in Tokyo.

2024 started with unfortunate incidents in Japan with the earthquake in the Kanazawa area and the plane accident. We were scheduled to visit Kanazawa right after the earthquake hit and it was very gracious on Maya's part to check on us to make sure that we were safe. This was well after we had checked out of Mimaru and this gesture is testament to the nature of the Mimaru staff. We will recommend Mimaru Kyoto Station to all our friends.

The staff are very helpful and friendly and can communicate in English very well. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. The room is spacious with a dining area and all necessary utensils. Very ideal for family after a tired long walk and just want to chill in the room with take-away.

Great spot for a family in Kyoto

Nice sized rooms for a family, great staff, and really great for the kids. They had a "Bingo" check list, where as the kids visit or complete an experience ("Try gyoza," "Visit the Train Museum," etc.), and they complete a row, they would be able to get a gacha from the mini-vending machine. It's also a block from the Kyoto Train Station and within walking distance from restaurants, coffee, desserts, and shopping.

Fantastic ApartHotel right in the centre of Kyoto. Lovely warm welcome from the team. Everything was "can do" and friendly. Would unreservedly recommend this place. Do take time to sit on the roof terrace and watch the trains go by :)
