箱根湯本駅から徒歩10分程のとても便利な場所にある、落ち着いた大人な時間を過ごせるお宿さんで大満足。宿内は何処も綺麗で新しい感じでした。残念だったところはお部屋のお風呂が温泉では無かったとこ。良かったところは、アルコールを含む飲み物が24時間飲み放題。温泉も同じく24時間入り放題で癒されました。またスタッフさんにお部屋の加湿器が汚れていたのでお伝えしましたら、新しいものに変えて頂き、丁寧にご対応して下さいました。最近、乾燥しており喉が痛かったのでとても助かりました。ありがとうございました。

泊まっている客の質はよくないしスタッフもバイトなのか？ここまだ酷いところはかつて泊まったことはない。他の方には絶対に勧めない。

車も機械式なので大きなものは止められないし、運転技術がかなりないと停められないぐらい狭い。なんだかね。最悪。来なきゃよかった。

飲み放題と部屋の露天風呂は最高

ドーミーインで知られる共立リゾートの少しレベルアップ宿で各部屋に露天風呂付きで、飲み物も24時間飲み放題、食事の時もビールなど一般的なドリンクは無料。料理も高級旅館よりはシンプルだが特別感のあるしゃぶしゃぶやすき焼き。なーんだしゃぶしゃぶかと思っていたが、肉がA5和牛で本当に初体験の味。貸切風呂もあるし屋上庭園もあるし、旅館イメージに拘らなければ本当に過ごしやすい。特に部屋でテレビ観ながら露天に入り、飲み放題のドリンクを楽しむのは至上の非日常でした。

旅館のサービスというよりは、和風ホテルのサービスでした。

食事、サービスにわたりシステム化されている点で、スムーズで良い点もありますが、悪い点にもなり目立っていた印象です。具体的には、夕食の品数は充実しているものの、前菜は連日作り置きのせいかその配慮不足か乾燥してパサついている小鉢が多くとても残念でした。室内のスリッパはおいてなく、また相談したら提供いただけたなど説明がなかった点、チェックアウト後に着替えを要し相談したところ浴場の脱衣所を貸してもらうことは断られ共同トイレを指定されました。ちょっとした小さな相談や融通も配慮いただくいただけず残念でした。ホテルと思うとお得に感じますが、高級旅館を期待し伺うとサービスに違和感を感じるかもしれません。

箱根にまた良い宿を見つけた。

お部屋も凄く綺麗で食事も見た目も繊細で味も濃すぎず薄すぎもせず絶妙でとても美味しかったです。飲み物も二箇所にあって一箇所にはアルコールもありました。お古腹も大浴場以外に家族風呂が２つあって空いていれば予約しなくてもよくて便利でした。従業員の方々も親切に接してくださって広すぎない所も気に入りました。また行きたい宿の一つになりました。

飲み放題、ご飯の量⭕️

お料理は満点、ボリュームもあります。
お酒飲みなので、ずっと部屋のみ出来て飲み放題なので嬉しかったです。
特に朝はしっかりとしたメニューがでてきます。
箱根駅からも徒歩で近いので行きやすいです。
部屋からの景観が無いのが少し残念。

ごはんがとても美味しくて、部屋もきれいで、満足しています。
1点だけ、夕飯がしゃぶしゃぶかすき焼きで選べたみたいなのですが、ホテルズドットコムで予約すると、選択する欄がないのにも関わらず、しゃぶしゃぶで予約したことになっていました。当日では変更もできませんでした。
部屋は広い部屋に空きがあったようで、追加料金なしでグレードアップしてもらいました。

新人教育の難しさ。

夕食の担当者が新人で（Yくん）「不慣れな所も・・・。」と挨拶があったので、大概の事は大目に見てたのだが。ドリンクがカウンターに出ていても運ばず。食事終えた食器をモタモタしながら「取って下さい」と我々に運ばせて。最後は「今回は自分なりに頑張りました。」と自分で自分を褒めて終わらせたのには、コントかと思いました。これが無ければ最高なホテルでした。

前もって電話をして行ったのに、車を駐車するまでの対応がスムーズにいかず待たされ、ありえない！と思った。待たせる時の説明もこちらが質問するまで何もなく不十分。施設の設備やサービスは良かったが、食事が時間でわかられているのが母にとって中途半端な時間であり、私にとっても食べてしばらくしたら寝るといった感じになり、もう少し何とかならないかなと思ったのと、食事の際の担当がつくのは良いが、到着が遅くなり１時間以上待っての遅い時間の食事になってお腹がすいているのに、１つ１つの説明が長すぎて早く食べさせてよ！と感じた

Environment and onsen facilities are very good. Resturant staffs are very friendly and caring. We have an enjoyable experience with the hotel.
The only thing i will pick on is the front desk staff when we checked in, not too friendly and have a bit of attitude.

What an amazing stay. We had been 1 week in Tokyo before 2 nights in Hakone, so I intended the time to be a mental switch from the rushing and hustle to quiet, and this place absolutely delivered.
Everything about it encourages you to calm and quiet and relaxation. It's a short 10-15 minute walk from the station, but you cross over 2 bridges and walk along a river and leave all that craziness behind. I can't explain it any other way; your mind changes with that stroll along the riverside.
The room itself is enormous by Japanese standards. The bathroom has a small shower inside but the best is the 1-person onsen/hot tub on a semi-covered patio outside. The front desk gives you English instructions on how to fill it and it was wonderful.
There are also 2 private 2-person onsen inside. No reservation, you just go to the floor and if the light is off, you can enter.
Food is traditional Japanese style and a HUGE assortment of 20 items in small portions. We never wanted lunch after eating breakfast here. The staff accommodated my allergies and prepared special food.
There are so many freebies to discover. Free tea/coffee 1st floor, soda 3rd, free ice cream near onsen, free dango and oden in the lobby 4:30, free ramen 10:30.
Beds were comfortable, elevators were fast and easy to use, staff was polite and helpful. If you look real hard you've find the occasional dusty corner, but overall clean and extremely relaxing place.

The experience was enjoyable, but the hotel and food were mediocre. We didn't get the options that were advertised. Instead, we received a vague email stating that there was only one choice and sorry. The food itself was just okay. The room was pleasant but shows its age.

Our room had a private hot-tub with a spectacular mountain view which made us a surprise. Reception staff couldn't understand English but they were helpful and cheerful. The meals (especially the breakfast) that provided by restaurant are remarkable. Food quality is good. Restaurant staff are very cheerful too. In the lobby area, one of the hotel staff felt annoying while she was cleaning up the complimentary drinking machines that we accidentally messed up by pouring the tea to the table. I suggested her to hang up a sign to stop the guests to use the machines while she is doing the clean up or refill job. I said sorry in Japanese about my messed up but she didn't response to me. I hope the hotel should provide more training to the staff who works in the lobby area. They all represent the hotel.

Alle war super! Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Essen und Getränken, und alles sind sehr geschmackvoll. Das Zimmer ist groß und sauber. Die Umgebung ist gut (Nähe von Kanal und nicht zu weit von Bahnhof). Service ist ausgezeichnet und staff ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Anlage ist großartig.

If you cannot walk to town , it may be hard bc not easy to get a cab. The town closes by 5pm so if you do not order dinner at the hotel ahead, u maybe eating at Lawson.

Good hotel in the Hakone area. The bus and train stations are a bit of a walk but well within reasonable distance. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Este hotel se encuentra muy cerca de la estación de tren y de la calle principal,a pesar de ello está en un área alejada del ruido y que te pone en contacto directo con la naturaleza. Lo recomiendo mucho para vivir una experiencia japonesa. La cena y desayuno son totalmente al estilo japonés.

The people and service were lovely. My low score comes from my disappointment with the cleanliness and overall condition of the hotel. Our room looked like it was quite worn out. Additionally, the private tub while nice, was surrounded by mould. If I were to come back to Hakone, I would skip staying here.

Lovely stay in Hakone

Very traditional, modern hotel with both private and public onsen located about 10 minutes walk from station. The half board offered was traditional set meal. Staff were wonderful though very limited English.

I love the hotel. Tsukino is an interesting and successful synthesis of traditional ryokan atmosphere with modern facilities. While my room comes with TV, fridge, western-style couch, a king sized bed, and a modern bathroom, the rest of the decoration is Japanese in style. The room also comes with a tube in the balcony. The balcony faces a very steep hill with dense foliage around 40 feet away. Thus I was able to take my baths in open air with ensured privacy. The 6th floor of the hotel offers one public onsen for men, one public onsen for women. For folks who are not used to bathing in public, the hotel also offers 2 private onsens on first come first serve basis. For those who have not done onsen before, I recommend limiting the first few onsen sessions to no more than 10 minutes. Beyond 10 minutes, the gas that comes with the hot spring water may make you light-headed.

The dinner, that is included with the room, is a 4 course extravaganza. The first course is a combination of vegetables, eggs, and pickled vegetables. The second course is sashimi. The main course is your choice of beef shabu shabu or seafood shabu shabu. The final course is some simple Japanese deserts. The dinner also comes with free drinks for up to 70 minutes.

For snacks, the hotel supplies each room with 4 cookies and 2 bottles of water each day. There is a cappuccino machine in the lobby. The hotel also offers freshly made ramen noodles at the restaurant every night around 10:30 pm.

Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber großzügig. Der eigene kleine Onsen im Zimmer war toll. Frühstück traditionell Japanisch und eine tolle Erfahrung. Kostenlose Getränkeauswahl war hervorragend und der Onsen im Spabereich war auch sehr gut!

I wanted to enjoy this hotel, but each experience made it less likely. The check-in was terrible; the staff ignored us and helped others, even though we had been waiting in line. Although many international travelers were present, the hotel isn’t foreigner-friendly, and communication was difficult, even with translation devices.
Hakone is a small town with limited dining options, especially on weekdays. We tried to book dinner reservations upon arrival, but the hotel had none. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. Our room was dirty, the private baths had cracked tiles that leaked water, and there was mold on the restaurant ceiling.
While free beverages are offered 24/7, the quality was poor. A complimentary snack is provided for 30 minutes each evening, but by the time we arrived, they had run out, leaving us without dinner alternatives. If you don’t like traditional Japanese food, skip breakfast—it was not worth it, and most guests left quickly due to the poor quality.
The terrace, while nice, doubles as a smoking area, so it smells bad. The private baths are first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved, meaning they’re often unavailable. Guests with tattoos are restricted to these baths, further limiting access, and since Hakone doesn’t have much to offer after hours, the baths are always crowded. A redeeming feature is the free, self-serve cocktails in the evening, but this doesn’t make up for the overall poor experience.

Zen-fection

We are so happy we chose to stay here. The service was impeccable. Our room with a private balcony bath was perfection after a long day roaming around Hakone. Enjoyed the stone tub that kept the water hot for hours. The sound of the creek all night created a wonderful zen atmosphere. We suggest the half board. The dinner was delicious and the servers explained everything and how to eat it. We were grateful. Breakfast was filling and a great way to start our day. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Really close by to the Odawara Station.
Walkable area overall - lots of nature and many small restaurants and shops to look at.

It's not a big area within Hakone-Yumoto, but if you want to branch out further around the area, you will need to take buses and trains to see more nature specific attractions.

Cool hotel room - it was a pretty spacious room with a separate toilet room and bathing room and a separate outdoor tub for private onsen.

I had dinner and breakfast included in my booking and it was a really cool dining experience. The server I had was super nice and I enjoyed the meals (although, portions are small and not too big, you'd be surprised as to how full you can get!)

Also free amenities in the hotel lobby!

Wonderful hot pot, comfortable rooms.

The room was very comfortable with a private bath on the balcony. The hot pot dinner was much more than I expected; the food and service were outstanding! Unfortunately I couldn’t get to the rooftop due to a knee injury. The only downside was not being able to get a cab to the train station. It wasn’t terribly far, but difficult due to an injury.

Great room, great services, great amenities.
We booked the half board option, and well worth it. We had great meals and were well presented by the staff for our table.

Loved the hotel. There are snacks available
Throughout the day along with 24hr free refreshments. There’s icecream on level 6 at night as well as endless shoyu ramen on level 2 at a certain hour. The breakfast and lunch was very good! English friendly. Hot springs were amazing. 10/10
