スタッフの皆さんは、笑顔で丁寧でした。お部屋はコンパクトですが、水回りがフラットで転倒の危険はありません。バスタブは小柄なわたしは、足を伸ばせ、ゆっくり浸かることができました。朝食にご飯がなかなかでなかったこと以外は、とても、満足でした。

ゴリゴリの日本人45歳ですが　フロントの方から1発目にパスポートプリーズって言われた時は焦りました💦笑　丁寧な対応でしたし　ウェルカムドリンクもありました。
掃除も行き届いていて　部屋も水回りもきれいでした。湯船にお湯ためてゆっくり入浴できたし　飲み歩いた足の痛みも良くなりました。
絶対次も泊まりたいホテルですね。
目の前の大久保公園で芋と栗とカボチャのフェスをしてましたが閑散としてました。
夜も静かでぐっすり眠れました。

和風の落ち着いたお部屋でゆっくり出来ました。

今回宿泊した部屋は、ベッド部分が小上がりになっていて、その前に畳の部屋がある部屋でした。とても落ち着いた感じでゆっくり過ごせました。
ただひとつ改善してほしいかなぁと思ったのが、座椅子と座布団の相性が悪いようで、つるつるすべってしまい。座りずらかったです。足で踏んだ時に転びそうにもなりました。その他は良かったです。

まずはチェックインがセルフでかなり分かりづらい、部屋はずごく綺麗でかなりよかったです！値段からしたら最高です！立地はラブホ街のど真ん中なので教育上よくないです！隣の宿泊客の外国人がかなりうるさかったです！それでも値段から考えても良いホテルだと思う！

立地も部屋もスタッフさん達も素晴らしいかった。💯

立地が最高だった。
新宿駅から新大久保駅には直ぐ行けるし、部屋も思ったより広かったし清潔でキレイだった。今回は6日間の滞在したけど、朝食は毎日毎日同じだったので4日目には飽きてしまった。ちょっと工夫して違う食べ物を出して欲しかった😱

スタッフさんの接客は心地よかったのですが、部屋は狭くてちょっと圧迫感を感じました。
（これは選んだ部屋によるところが大きいですが）
ただ、朝食は「え？これだけ？」という品数だったので不満でした。
料金が安いので仕方ないかもしれませんが、次はないかな～という思いです。

初めて宿泊させて頂きました。繁華街という事もあり騒音が気になっていたのですが、驚く程静かで夜間過ごす事が出来ました。ダブルでお願いしていたのですが、ツインのお部屋に変更して頂き、ゆっくり休む事も出来ました。ありがとうございました。
ただ一つ、ゴミ箱に中に一つゴミが残っていたのが気になります。その他、冷蔵庫の中、浴室、寝室等気になる所はありませんでした。スタッフさんの印象もとても良かったです。又利用させて頂きたいと思います。

新しいホテル

翌日からの旅行で朝早くの特急に乗るため、前泊として利用しました。
土地柄やんちゃな人が常に周りを歩いてはいますが、大通りに近いので明るく、コンビニや飲食店もたくさんあるので便利です。
館内はとても綺麗です。フロントが狭いので荷物や旅行客で通れなくなることはありましたが、全体的におしゃれで装飾にも凝っていて良かったです。
また、朝食について、こちらの都合で無理を言ってしまったのですが、それに対してフロントの方も親切に対応してくださり、助かりました。
ただ、「朝食の際にわかるよう手配します」とおっしゃっていたのが、翌朝のフロント・レストランには何も伝わっていなかったことが残念でした。
とはいえ、事情を説明したら迅速に対応してくださったので問題はありませんでした。

This hotel is in a central location and rooms are clean. The front staff were very helpful and kind. There is a basketball court right outside which was fun to watch from our window.

The breakfast was expensive for what is was and quality was lacking.

The 3rd floor had bags and bags of laundry lining the hallway every day for hours (most of the day). I liked the decor and wanted pictures but it was always a mess.

The location of this hotel was around everything — shops + places to eat and subway stations. There was a slight problem at first but the staff/management were able to get that situated right away. Overall, we had an amazing time! Highly recommend!

This was my first time staying at this property, and I chose it based on ChatGPT’s recommendation due to its proximity to several iconic Japanese landmarks. From the outside, the hotel looked sleek and modern, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. As a nice touch, I received two freshly tapped Japanese beers from the bar as a welcome gift, which was a great way to start the stay.

When we got to our floor, the hallway had a bold, eclectic design that stood out. Once inside our room, however, the space was noticeably small. We had heard ahead of time that luggage storage was available due to the compact size of the rooms, but we chose to keep our two large suitcases and two carry-ons inside, which made the room feel even tighter.

That said, the bed was comfortable, and the room had a small fridge (which you’ll need to manually turn on). Despite being in a lively neighborhood, the room was surprisingly quiet, and I slept well. The highlight for me was the bathroom, especially the high-tech Japanese toilet with full bidet functions, which added a touch of luxury.

Just outside the hotel, less than 100 yards away, the area was buzzing with activity. It was great being able to walk to so many interesting spots and explore vibrant parts of the city on foot. We also used the GO Taxi app (note: it only works once you're in Japan) to visit Shibuya Crossing and explore that famous district.

Overall, we had a great time.

Its quite a walk from the train station and we had to walk through small streets full of adults businesses at night, guys standing around to make deals, it felt very unsafe and inappropriate for family. The hotel provided pajamas but they were very rough and I developed a bad rash overnight all over my neck and chest area. Not recommended for family stay.

We only had a single night here, but did enjoy the stay.
Location was good, room size was good and most importantly, the room was quiet.
There was a complementary coffee machine in the room, which was very nice.
The staff in the reception were very nice and friendly when we checked in, and there was also a complementary drink in the bar.

The breakfast was of good quality and varitety. The rooms were small (even if for Japan is normal) and a bit dusty. The area around the hotel was characteristic, but not the best one. Unfortunately we made the check-in late in the evening so we hadn't had the chance to have the free drink (it was too late and the bar was closing): it would be better to extend the possibility to have the free drink one of the other days of one's staying, not only during check-in day. The staff was friendly and available, even if during the check-in they seemed a little bit annoyed.

When I told Japanese friends I had booked a hotel at Shinjuku, they looked at me like I was crazy, and like “you will not sleep”. Nothing father from the truth. The hotel is in a quiet corner of crazy Shinjuku. Close to the small Okubo metro station (so you can avoid the main Shinjuku station which is enormous). Staff are super attentive. Room I booked was small but functional. Breakfast was excellent. The only inconvenience is that their wifi is slow. Video calls kept dropping. I followed staff members recommendations to restart my phone and it improved, but the next day it was back to slow. Besides that, a perfect place to stay if you want to experience a Tokyo that is less polished and aseptic than Ginza.

Good hotel overall but not perfect for Westerners in our 50s who didn't love sitting on the floor to eat and sleeping just a few inches from the floor. The room was clean and stylish - just not ideal for older joints. We loved the bathroom, though, with its soaker tub and shower. And Water pressure in Japan is so much stronger than we're used to in California. And the water gets hot quickly and stays hot.

Great location, delicious breakfast

We spent just over a week at the La'gent, in a moderate queen room. The rooms are compact, however I think it's the price you pay to staying in the middle of Kabukicho. The location is great, with access to multiple metro lines, restaurants and shops. Room was clean and cleaning service was every other day. The beds are quite firm, but I didn't mind that. Sound proofing from the outside is good, but if you're a light sleeper, a pair of ear plugs will help!

Breakfast is great, especially for the price, selection of hot and cold Japanese and Western breakfast foods. All we're very tasty!

The counter of complementary products in the foyer (toothbrush, razors, tea etc.) is a nice touch. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with a good level of English.

Keep in mind check-in is 3pm, so if you're flying in and feeling jet-lagged, it feels like forever!

Very nice property. We especially liked the Queen sized bed, which is a bit larger than many hotels. Like many Japanese hotels the rooms are tiny compared to North American standards. Loved the free amenities little toothbrushes, etc. nice place
