彼氏の誕生日で宿泊しました。
部屋の雰囲気がすごく良くてこちらの宿に決めました。
部屋も露天風呂もとても素敵で最高でした！露天風呂に関しては朝も空いていたので入れる事ができて尚よかったです！
ただ、非日常をコンセプトにしているホテルなので、時計もテレビも冷蔵庫もなくてそれが尚更私達にはよかったです！
けどお部屋でもお酒を飲みたかったので見えないところにでも冷蔵庫は欲しかったなとは思いました。

家族でまったりと。

4人で泊まるには(こども2人)狭かったですが、清潔感があり、宿の方も親切でよかったです。テレビはないですが、Wi-FiでNetflix観たり、本読んだり、まったりと過ごしました。冷蔵庫もなく、冷やすものはフロントで、なので、夏はしんどそうだなと思いました。貸し切り露天風呂は一部屋ごと予約制で、バスマットも新しくなりますので、清潔に入れてよかったです。朝食がとても美味しくて食べ過ぎました。

浅草の街に合った宿

施設が新しいだけあってとてもきれいで快適でした。
和を感じられ、とても浅草の街に合ったホテルだと思います。
観光地なので外国の方の宿泊者が多かったのですが、従業員の方が英語ペラペラで外国人旅行者も安心だと思いました。
2つほどマイナス面で思ったことは、露天風呂に入れる時間帯の終わりが早いということと、従業員の方が少ないだけあって、外国人宿泊者が夜中従業員の方を探し回っていたことです。
前者に関しましては、21:00が最終入浴の時間なので、外食するお店が18:00オープンとかだと全然ゆっくりできないので、食事しに行くお店も限られてきちゃうかなと思います。
後者は、夜中ロビーの冷蔵庫から冷やしていたお酒を取りに行く際に、外国人宿泊者がすごい困った顔つきで従業員の方を探し回っている姿を見かけたので、宿泊者が来訪した際に従業員はどこで待機しているなどの説明が必要なのではと感じました。
ですが、従業員さんのサービスと施設はとても素晴らしかったです。
彼女の誕生日祝いで宿泊したのですが、1日目にその旨を伝えたら、次の日にサプライズをしてくださり、急な要望にも関わらずご対応いただいて感激しました。
すごいフレンドリーな従業員さんが多く、アットホームな雰囲気なので、堅苦しい宿が苦手な方にはもってこいなホテルだと思います。
また機会があれば宿泊したいと思います。

「暮らすように旅ができる旅館」
一言でいえば、そんなアットホームな雰囲気の旅館でした。
加えて旅人への「おもてなし」の気持ちがとても有り難かったです。
観光ガイドにはない、地元の人が楽しむ浅草グルメなどをスタッフの方に紹介をしていただき、（裏）浅草の暮らしをほんの少し垣間みることができました。
ニューオープンということもあり、施設、設備ともに清潔感がありました。是非、東京旅行の際、再度利用してみたいと思いました。

素敵なお宿でした

夏休み二泊三日、4人家族でお世話になりました。チェックイン後に足湯の用意があり足袋ソックスに畳が心地よかったです。
滞在中は、スタッフの方たちの温かいおもてなしと細やかな心配り、和風モダンな空間にたっぷり癒されました。最上階の露天風呂からはスカイツリーが見え、お湯加減も雰囲気も最高でした。タオルやアメニティ、寝具も上質で使い心地が良かったです。
それから、普段朝食をあまり食べない子供たちがしっかり朝食を食べました。2日目のたまご焼きサンドが美味しかったです。家でも真似したいと思います。
大満足の楽しい滞在でした！またぜひ利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

オープンしたてのため、これからに期待します。見直してほしい点は①6Fの露天風呂は、同フロアの客室のドアと同じ浴室マークのため、表示を変える　②朝食時間を予約したのに30分以上も待ったため、計画変更した　③間接照明に気を付けているが、鍵穴が見づらく、移動型照明のバッテリー切れで部屋が暗い　等

If you have the chance to splurge on the Suite with the private onsen - please do. We did our last night in Japan (I was in Japan for work for a month, my husband came over for the last week and we did vacation) - it was a perfect end to a wonderful trip. The people are absolutely wonderful and everything is so comfortable. It never felt stuffy, just remember the rules are like if you are a guest in someones home. The best parts were the private onsen (we are both heavily tattooed) with the Skytree in the background, and waking up in the morning smelling breakfast wafting up through the stairwell. That moment I truly felt at home. Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful peace. Thank you so much and again for working with us on our check in time! Absolutely lovely.

Perfect stay.

Amazing place in the heart of Tokyo, 10 minutes walk from station and 5 minutes from one of the oldest attractions in Tokyo.

Staff were truly amazing and accommodating, above and beyond! The breakfast was also very delicious, actually one of the best meals I had in Japan.

The reservation bath was a treat as well, not something common in big cities.

Just make sure you select the accurate number of people when you make your reservation.

Best ryokan in Tokyo!

Me and my friend only stayed for one day and enjoyed everything about it, it was great! I have to come back again to spend longer nights this time! The beautiful traditional architecture design of our room was my favourite part, including the amazing service I received from the staff.

Wondful hotel located well in the Asakusa area. Good proximity to Senso-ji, Sky tree and water front. Overall the hotel is nice with a very pleasant onsen and the staff was engaging and pleasant-- especially the staff at dinner. Bathroom was generously sized and the dinners included with our stay were fantastic. My complaints are on the overall price and value of the hotel. At times I felt the total price was not justified by the room and the amenities provided. Very simplistic and traditional ryokan with no chairs or reading area, but this may be my western perspective.

The Cyashitsu Ryokan Asakusa is a truly wonderful hotel. I stayed here for one night after running the Tokyo Marathon. This was my last night in Japan and the hosts made this the most memorable night of my visit. The Ryokan is incredibly comfortable and beautiful and close to the Senso-Ji temple. The hosts arranged a wonderful meal in a gorgeous restaurant for me. I have to say that this was the best food I'd had on my trip and that is really saying something! The walk back through the temple grounds at night was magical but I then had a long soak in the Hotel's wonderful rooftop bath, watching clouds scudding across the sky and watching the lights of the Skytree. The next morning, breakfast was wonderful before I headed off to the airport. What a way to say 'Good bye' to Tokyo after a wonderful trip. I can't recommend this hotel enough - it is truly wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic stay

Really enjoyed the room it was classic Japan with the basics. Sometimes a disconnect is needed.
The bathroom was a good size and was well supplied.
Everything was clean and well maintained the the staff were super helpful and friendly. I would stay again.

My wife and I had a fantastic time. We felt very relaxed and welcomed. The staff had fantastic English and explained the difference between a Ryokan and a typical hotel, as well as giving us useful information about the area we were staying in.

The included dinner was an amazing experience, a kind chef introduced us to various different sashimi, as well as beef cooked in 3 different traditional ways. There was a lovely English speaking student who was translating for the chef while we ate and prepared our food.

The presentation, and care the staff gave to my wife and I felt very special.

The private onsen you can reserve a time slot for was a wonderful experience.

Overall this was a wonderfully indulgent way to end our trip in Tokyo, and I'd highly recommend people consider this beautiful little Ryokan if they enjoy being spoiled and experiencing different cultures and great food.

직원분들이 짐 옮기는 것부터 시작해서 세심하게 챙겨 주시는 게 좋았고, 조식도 신선하고 맛있었습니다. 노천탕도 일행끼리만 즐길 수 있는 것도 색달랐고, 마지막에 기념 사진도 선물 받고 배웅까지 해 주셔서 감동이었습니다. 영어 잘 통해요. 다음에 기회 되면 또 이용하고 싶어요.

Dejligste lille ryokan midt i den stille del af Asakusa. Måske den varmeste velkomst jeg nogensinde har modtaget af hotelpersonale - de er meget opmærksomme og søde!!
Fantastisk privat onsen med udsigt over Skytree på tagterassen, der kan bookes på forhånd. Sov rigtig godt i deres tatami værelse med futon setup. De har også en rigtig god traditionel japansk morgenmad!

인테리어가 모던하게 정돈되어있으면서도 전통적인 료칸 경험을 주는 것이 아주 좋았다. 아사쿠사 센소지까지 도보 5분 정도로 가까운 위치가 좋다. 매일 아침 식사도 정갈하고 맛있었다.

We stayed here two nights for our honeymoon and it was the best experience I have ever had with a hotel. Cyashitsu Ryokan Asakusa goes above and beyond with making you feel right at home while also giving you the ability to experience traditional Japanese culture and hospitality.
The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were cozy, and the outdoor bath was incredible are a long day of travel and walking. We loved this place! You won't regret staying here.

The staff at the ryokan were so helpful, kind, and considerate. The entire experience felt very personal, almost akin to a "bed and breakfast". Beyond that, the location is very close to beautiful tourist sites and walking areas. Also very close to public transit that will take you all over Tokyo. 10/10 would recommend!

This ryokan was amazing! The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to help me feel welcome, including providing me with tea and some red-bean sweet to eat upon arrival. If you stay here, definitely don't skip the breakfast! This was my favourite meal I ate in Tokyo! Whilst the rooms are on the smaller side, the minimalist approach means that this is not an issue, and added to the relaxing feel. I booked the room with the private open-air bath and this was a lovely way to end my day. Additionaly, the hotel is very close to some of the main sights in Asakusa (especially Senso-Ji temple), and the area has a much more relaxed feel to it compared to areas like Shinjuku or Shibuya. I will certaintly be booking here again for my next trip to Tokyo!

Un Riokan fabuloso!

El Riokan está genial, pequeñito y muy acogedor, el tamaño perfecto para poder disfrutar de la experiencia. La atención que nos dieron fue exquisita, nos guardaron las maletas todo el día tanto antes del checking como una vez hecho el check out. El Onsen está perfecto para una pareja y lo disfrutamos en privado. Una experiencia genial!

Sehr schönes Erlebnis

Sehr herzliches Willkommen, wunderschönes Onsen auf dem Dach, grossartiges Abendessen, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, Zimmer hat für zwei Personen genau die richtige Grösse, liebevoll gestaltetes Hotel.
Einzig die Tatsache, dass man erst nach dem Buchen erfährt, dass das Abendessen nicht im Zimmer sondern ca 10 Minuten entfernt in einem Restaurant serviert wird, fanden wir bedauerlich

Traditional with a modern refinement. Quiet.

Shhhhh don’t tell anyone. This is the place to come for tradition with a slightly modern elegance. Quick, serene, simple, quaint, delicate and delightful. My solo room was perfect. Please do not go here if you want an American style hotel. This is Japan at its best and a great place to unwind and sit in stillness. I loved it for my first two nights in japan. I could’ve used one more night The bath on the rooftop was a little oasis The food was incredible traditional style Japanese fish set was impeccable But again, if you’re looking for a traditional American style breakfast, this is not the place to come. I will be back. I loved the area and the walks along the river.

I had no idea what to expect. An old friend encouraged me to try a Ryokan during my first visit to Japan. I viewed many photos, read many things, and read reviews. However, you only know what you are getting yourself into sometimes once you are onsite. I didn’t know how I would feel about the open-air bath part. But I’m up to a challenge and leaving my comfort zone behind.

When I walked in the door, one of the staff, Mizuki, went out of her way to make me feel welcome. I arrived a little early because of a mistake on MY PART, which she understood and allowed me to leave my luggage while I went out exploring a tour I had booked in the vicinity of the property.

When my tour was over and it was time to check in later, Mizuki awaited me with a welcome ceremony, tea, and dessert. Afterward, my luggage was already there when I went to my room. So, I spent time relaxing and preparing myself for my first open-air bath. When I entered the series of personal rooms, dressing room, shower, and bath, I felt safe, valued as a patron, and totally relaxed after my session.

Of course, after returning to my room and taking another shower, I slept like a baby that night. When it was time for breakfast (which you selected the time), I was served a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast.

The hospitality alone, along with the other benefits of staying there, will certainly make me return for another visit. Thank you, Mizuki, other staff, and chef, for a memorable stay at your hotel.

Traditional Japanese style hotel with lots of charm and exemplary service. A perfect change of pace. Rooms are quirky and small but well designed if you’re a minimalist. Breakfast is outstanding. And the outdoor bathing with views of the sky tree is pretty special.

Wonderful hotel staff that treats you like family. They made great local restaurant recommendations. The included traditional breakfast was wonderful. Best accommodation ever.

This is by far the best accommodation I experienced in Japan (or maybe in my life)! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms, though small, are cozy and clean. They smell amazing, too. The onsen is very relaxing with views of Tokyo sky tree. I also stayed in the room with the private outdoor bath and it was heavenly.
The breakfast was delicious. Overall, I could not recommend this ryokan more. It was amazing!!!!!!

Wir waren noch nie in so einem tollen Hotel wie diesem, falls wir mal wieder nach Tokyo kommen, werden wir definitiv wieder da buchen.
Total freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer.
Wir hatten das Zimmer mit dem privaten Onsen und es war einfach wirklich fantastisch, einen privaten Frühstücksraum gab es auch. Und falls man was vom Personal brauchte, haben sie gerne geholfen, wir sind zb in einen Platzregen gekommen und sie haben usn von sich aus angeboten uns die Schuhe auf ihren Schuhtrockner zu trocknen

Memorable and unique experience at this hotel

Only stayed one night due the availability at the time but would have loved to stay longer especially after spending the night at the hotel. Had no issues communicating with staff as they also spoke English. Staff were very welcoming and explained the concept of their traditional Japanese style hotel in detail. They also showed genuine interest in their guests and were available to offer any assistance. We pre booked and used the private onsen which is definitely a must. Great location and close to the Sensō-ji temple. The room and hotel were very tranquil which was a nice change from other hotels we had stayed at during our holiday. There is no fridge in the room however there is a communal fridge available to use within the entrance which was no problem for us. We were served the traditional Japanese breakfast in our room at a pre arranged time and were given a slightly later check out time which was much appreciated. After check out the hotel safely stored our luggage until we returned later in the day which was greatly appreciated.

I loved my short time at Cyashitsu Ryokan. The staff were all so sweet and helpful. The rooms are set up in traditional style, so be aware the doorways and ceiling are low. It's a short walk from Senso-ji and Asakusa Station. Asakusa is an interesting area; full of covered markets and great food. The ryokan even has a big book or restaurant and entertainment recommendations. Breakfast was Japanese style and delicious. The private bath is great if you're shy like me. Above the privacy curtain, you can see Tokyo Skytree alight at night. I will definitely be staying at Cyashitsu the next time I'm in Tokyo.

The staff was wonderful. We were late to our scheduled breakfast (sumimasen!) and there wasn't any issue. The private outdoor onsen was a dream and that's probably the most restful night's sleep I had on this vacation.

I had an amazing 2 night stay. My first time experiencing a Japanese style Inn and the staff is very wonderful. English speaking friendly, gave me a great introduction about immersing into the Ryokan experience and food and onsen was the highlight of it all! 10/10 would love to come back there again on my next trip.

This ryokan is one of my best experiences ever in Japan, and I’ve travelled here close to 50 times in my lifetime. The staff was friendly to a level I’ve never seen anywhere before - no exaggeration. The room was small but the experience felt completely authentic. The futons were super comfortable, and the bath on top of the building was amazing at night as well as daytime. I couldn’t recommend this place any more warmly.

The ryokan is a lovely place to stay. Our hosts were so nice and even recomended places to visit based on our likes. They also have a private onsen you can book once you check in to relax in. Highly recommend if you are looking for a traditional Japanese experience.
