環境は非常に静かで良い。また、別棟の宿泊箇所を廻ってお茶を楽しむことができる等、非常に良いアイデアである。ロビーもおしゃれで、また朝食を和食にすると和室での食事ができ、雰囲気も味も良好で、非常に満足している。

快適に滞在できました

2500円で追加可能な古民家を利用した和食の食堂が非常に良かったです。また、カフェサービスなど滞在の食に関してのサービスも良かったです。
部屋は浴槽はないものの、清潔感があり快適に過ごせました。アクセスも場所がら良かったです。

欲を言えば、時期も相まって部屋がかなり乾燥していたため、加湿器のような装置があると良かったです。

どちらの棟でもチェックイン可能と聞いていたのですが・・
朝食付きなのか無しなのか対応があまりにもいい加減でした。
他は標準的なサービスを感じました。インにしては料金が高いです）
朝食は期待外れ、この次はないと思います。
ただ家族連れで連泊、体験型のサービスを期待する分には悪くないインなのかなと思いました。

全体的に清潔でキレイ、家具などはオシャレな印象です。子どもの哺乳瓶の電子レンジ消毒も快く対応していただき、とても助かりました。

クイーンの部屋に泊まりましたが、HPの写真ではバスタブが写っているのにシャワールームだけでした。
またチェックインの時間以降にチェックインしましたが部屋の準備ができておらず少し待ったのが残念でした。

Very walkable to main streets and train stations. I loved all the extra amenities. The room was new and spotless. Best toilet yet! I would highly recommend this property. High value for the money you pay.

The bathroom wasn’t in a great state. The sink drawer was broken, the trash can didn’t open with the foot pedal and the towel hangers weren’t correctly attached to the wall so everyone i took a towel out of the rack it would fall.
Everything else was good, location being excellent and bed comfortable.

Great location and check in was easy. The room was was clean, but not convininet at all. The bathroom sink was placed in the bed/living room insted of the bathroom. We could only have one cleaning of the room on our 5 night stay. If you wanted more you had to pay for it. Overall 6.5/10

In a very quiet area with shops very close by and stations within 10 minute walk.

The room is very cosy, and spacious. The bed is comfy and the room has a tv, fridge and kettle.

The internet is also good.

The shower is great and very large.

Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto’s shopping district. It was a great room. Largest room I stayed at during my trip to Japan. It had excellent air conditioning. The staff was very helpful and spoke English.

Highly recommend this hotel chain. English speaking staff, which made it easy for us to communicate.

Kabin Koji doesn’t have laundry in the hotel but there is a laundromat down the street 30 seconds away.

Situation in a quiet neighbourhood right down from the Main Street. Would highly recommend the Kabin chain.

Self checkin using an app you are required to register with them. Ill prefer if there was a guest option. Now staff is there but also not, since this hotel is a Satellite hotel for the main one called Kabin Kyoto which is 3 minutes walk. So all the services you expect from a normal hotel are provided from Kyoto. Koji only has a shared kitchen and thats it basically.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kabin Koji, and I can confidently say it was an excellent choice for our family trip. The proximity to bus and train stations allowed us to navigate the city effortlessly, taking the stress out of getting around.

When it comes to shopping and dining, Kabin Koji is situated in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of options. We enjoyed exploring the local shops, where we found unique souvenirs and delightful treats. For dining, there were numerous family-friendly restaurants within walking distance, serving everything from local cuisine to international favorites. It made meal times a breeze, especially with kids in tow.

櫃臺人員都是外國人可以流利的英文應對， 也十分親切。唯一小不便是不知道寄存行李需要移動到臨近的KABIN Taka, 才能完成，讓離開的行程規劃稍有意外。但整體而言，是相當棒的住宿體驗。

The property is very modern and operated by foreigners (not Japanese owned). Catered towards more western travelers. Property was clean, staff helpful, and comfortable. Room is a bit tight but nothing to really complain about as most hotels have small rooms in Japan. We loved our stay.

Kabin Koji is an exceptional property, stayed for 1 night but it was a very good stay. Rooms are abit bigger than usual hotels. Check in was swift once you downloaded the hotel app and prechecked in. Location was abit of walk from kyoto station but it was ok. 10/10 would book again

HORRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY!!
I have been in Kyoto for 3 weeks and have stayed at 3 different hotels. All three are perfect except this one. This hotel is worst !!! First , I asked for a quite room but it is not quite, the whole building is not soundproofing. You can easily hear upstairs people moving around their chairs. The room design is terrible. There is a window but you can’t see anything outside. The use special material I don’t know what it is but you just can’t see through. The AC is loud and the vent directly to the bed, all the fan directly blow to you when you are sleep. I got headaches next day. Also the door directly face the bed. You feel uncomfortable the entry door just facing you when you are sleeping. They put a small table with 2 chairs in the narrow hallway.
The WORST part is the dresser fell off toward to me. I got injured. The dresser is not secure against the wall at alThey just put there but not secure attached to the wall. I washed my hair at 11:00 pm and tried to find the hair dryer. I searched every where. I pulled out the drawer from the dresser cabinet half way, when I pull out the second drawer then whole dresser fell toward me. It was horrible and disaster. The water pitcher fell off and broken ( made of cheap plastic material) all the water came to the two drawers which I opened . So all my clothes got wet. The small refrigerator slides out from the cheap dresser too. It was HORRIBLE!! I tried to find someone to help me but there is no one.

Staff was super friendly and welcoming right from the get-go. Checked in was happy with the space of the room and size of the bed. Towels and items are available on each floor. Since this wasnt the main Kabin, we had to go to Kabin Kyoto to do laundry. Would recommend as its close to a lot of stores and central to a lot of sites

Excellent hotel, but sorta weird

The room itself and hotel is excellent and clean. There is no real lobby - that’s in the parent hotel down the road. Checking in is done via their own app, which was a bit bothersome in the moment, as the reservation was done by the hotels.com app.

The amenities were alright as well.

Very nice modern hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Very modern. Possibly a little too modern if you're a bit old school but personally found it great and innovative. Noted reduced reception times (they only man the desk from 1pm to 10pm) had no effect on our stay. Lovely quiet area with plenty of nearby food options.

Gem of a hotel!

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is tucked into a quiet street in a very interesting neighborhood, with many lovely restaurants just a few minutes away. The main shopping area is also easily walkable. The room is super comfortable. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff (fluent in English) was very helpful. So, great location and great condition. We loved our experience and will choose to stay here again for our return trips!

Short walking distance to the all the main hot spots like Karawaramachi and Nishiki shopping areas, Gion and Pontocho but removed enough that it was a quiet location to retreat to. There's no laundry onsite but you can use the one in a nearby Kabin hotel or the public laundromat on the corner.

Loved the property. It’s smaller than I expected but it’s pretty standard for a Kyoto location. No complaints at all. Would also note that this specific Kabin location is very private. The larger one nearby is full of tourists and we enjoyed the privacy.

Perfect for solo travellers

I like the simplicity of the hotel. I know there are some criticisms on the lack of housekeeping, there are fresh towels readily available and other amenities that you can get from the trolleys stationed outside. The room was comfortable, spacious for a solo traveller and had everything I need for a 3 night visit. There is a laundrette close by and is close to Shijo station. The bed was comfy and not too noisy, I had the best night sleeps here. Great stay.
